Connecting the dots... why can"t you?

Why is it that in spite of all the reading, all the studying, all the classes you take, you are not amounting to much, to as much as you feel you should have earned?

And no matter how many people suggest that reading a book a week is good for you... it may do nothing for you... I have seen that with my students... and while writing yesterday"s article, the "April 1... joy-full life" article, I saw it again.

The way you do things, the way you read, learn, etc. doesn"t create connections between the things you see, the things you learn, the things you read.

When we talk, maybe you can connect the dots, i.e. you are capable of integration: seeing that two seemingly disparate concepts connect, they are part of the same thing, or they are in fact the same thing.

But only when I point it out to you.

You behave, in a normal day, as if nothing connected to anything else... or as if everything connected to everything else, especially high emotional content stuff.

What"s going on?

To understand what happens, we need to look at the difference between mind learning, and brain learning...

...or the two organs inside your skull that are either concerned with reality or with emotions, your commentary, your meaning, your fears and your story about all that.

The key element, between the two mode, got crystal clear to me when I learned PhotoReading 14 years ago.

In PhotoReading you consciously remove your self from the mind, the opinionating machine, the hurrying machine, the "let"s get this over with" machine, and engage the learning brain that does none of the things the mind does.

In PhotoReading you are instructed to put your attention on an imaginary tangerine placed on your head, and keep your attention there all the while you turn the pages one page per second. You are also instructed to look behind the pages, so that you cannot see the words on the page.

If you don"t keep either of those instructions, you will not get the brain to take pictures of the pages, and the knowledge will not be available to you neither then, nor later.

When you PhotoRead, aka brain-read, the pages with the information go, directly, into your long term storage facility, without any commentary, any explanation, any true/false, good/bad evaluation from the mind.

And then, when you use the activation method PhotoReading teaches you, you"ll have the knowledge available for daily use, or drumroll: to connect it to other stored knowledge because you"ll see how they connect.

  • The brain only pays attention to reality: the page that"s in front of you, the words someone wrote or says and it doesn"t even know about your opinion, or your emotions.

  • In contrast, the mind, when you learn, read, etc. while your Self is in the mind, will pay attention to the "OCCURRENCE" a technical term for both what"s happening and what you say about it. What"s happening is real, what you say about it is opinion, commentary, emotionally driven.

  • The mind acts as a full vessel, it knows everything and it adds all that everything to reality.

  • The brain"s long term storage acts as an empty vessel: it is not impatient to understand, it doesn"t say "I already know", it doesn"t say "this is boring", it doesn"t say anything. It is not in a hurry to judge it, it is not in a hurry about anything.

  • The mind lives in scarcity where everything is a question of life or death,

  • while the brain behaves like a tool box: it isn"t concerned if you have duplicates of a tool, or if you put a tool in that you will never use.

  • The mind is concerned... so it filters. And, according to my muscle testing, it filters out an average of 95% of what it is exposed to... filters out so well, that YOU don"t even know it was there.

Now, when you want to build a body of knowledge, when you want to connect the dots so you can create a system for a good life, or a happy existence, or for making money, you need to have the pieces in the brain, not in the mind.

Oftentimes I poke around with you, and you have the elements, but they are in the mind. Your profession, even your hobbies... your degrees, everything

The brain does not have access to the mind the way it has access to its long term storage.

So the strategic, thinking brain cannot use the stuff you put in your mind...

...and you are sh*t out of luck: all the books you read, all the classes you took are not available to you for life.

I have been inventing newer and newer ways to help my students to switch to brain-learning, brain-reading, and so far I haven"t produced much success in this regard.

According to muscle-testing, only one out of a 100 people who take a PhotoReading class will actually do, accurately, what PhotoReading requires for them to produce the amazing results: read and remember entire books.

Even speedreaders do better... apparently because of speed reading"s mechanical nature: the speed inhibits the natural tendency for something to hitch hike your attention... so you stay with the speed and the trust.

Of course, most people need to train their attention to speedread, to gain near complete control over their attention.

Not focus: attention.

You can focus from the mind as well... in fact you do. You move your pinpoint size cone of vision... and, of course, you don"t see much, you don"t see very accurately.

In the attention training exercises, we called calisthenics, also in the step out of the mind, or was it slip out of the mind? I trained people to step back so they can be in the brain, instead of the mind, and see things from there.

I didn"t know at the time, but there is a capacity, I have since named Detached capacity, that unless the capacity is active, you are always, or nearly always in the mind, entrapped there.

I have found the recording of the course where I taught the method, and where I also turned people"s Detached capacity to active.

The more apt name would be: the capacity to step back... some of my old students still have that capacity open, like Dorothy, or Matsa, even though they turned it on five-six years ago, while in the course.
That Detached capacity is what people utilize, people who actually learned the PhotoReading technique, who consequently can connect the dots, and build a large network of knowledge, that enables them to see what it takes to have what you want.

Millions of people, maybe hundreds of millions have read the book The Science of Getting Rich... many of them made Rebecca Fine rich, she ran a site called "The Certain Way" which is the non-esoteric essence of Wallace D. Wattles" book. The esoteric part is, in my not so humble opinion, is untrue but satisfies humanity"s cravings for the mystical.

But, so it seems, once one homes in on the esoteric, one stops listening, and hears nothing of the Certain Way... which is, by itself, not sexy, not seductive, not esoteric, and needs you to apply yourself. So, of all the people who read the book, less than one percent has benefited from it... which is a shame.

If you have read it, read it again... but now read it with your brain.

You can also take the Detached Workshop, where I also turn on the DNA capacity for you... but you are responsible for keeping it on by practicing it, as much as you can.Learn to read/learn with your brain instead of the mind
