How to make the empty wish "Happy New Year!" come true for you?

I took the garbage out this morning. It was really cold... I was shivering.

The guy across the street yelled to me: Happy New Year... and I responded in kind... But these good wished as nothing but wishful thinking: your word won"t make it happen. You wanting the New Year to be happy won"t do it for you... unless something changes... something fundamental... like your word will start to have power.

Because, at present, it has no power, or not much... instead your emotions control what you do, not your words.

Here is an example:

What happens when your want (want is an emotion, like craving) overrides your need, your rational part of the brain, and you buy something that you can"t use, or won"t use

You have two choices: you return it, if you can, or you keep it and suffer a double loss: an emotional loss and a financial loss.

I am just like you in this regard, with the only difference: I have trained myself to wait before I click the buy button.

It is also helpful, to me, that given that I am a not for profit company, I am always short of cash... It has the benefit of forcing me to think before I buy.

Especially now that I have lost a private client... who is, by the way, a prime example of the emotional buy: he wanted what private coaching offers, but was unwilling to do what it takes to benefit.

By the way: I don"t think he got the lesson.

Sometimes the price of failure is repaid in what you learn about yourself so you won"t make the same mistake again.

I have been observing people"s behavior especially their two selves relationship to each other... aka integrity.

The further away those two selves are from each other, the harder it is for those people to stick to anything, because they want what is instant, immediate, painless and fun. They also have a super sensitive "precious I" that takes offense when the truth is told about them.

Your Silver Bullet

I have mentioned before the "silver bullet" that has a short statement, often just one word, that instantly triggers collapse and being personally offended.

Mine, I have revised it recently, is someone calling me unkind. Why is it such a big deal? Because it is true, despite all my efforts to be kind, or at least perceived kind.

The client who quit: his silver bullet was "taker"... (Sexual Energy)

The common symptom is: you can"t be with your Silver Bullet.

A student emailed me the other day. His soul correction is Memories. I promised to ferret it out, and I think it is "liar". He"ll tell me... if it hurts, it is.

Whatever your Silver Bullet is, it makes you doubly vulnerable: this may be the only thing you haven"t been able to choose, haven"t been able to embrace, haven"t been able to be with.

Some more silver bullets of people I deal with: stupid (stupid as the stupid does way! not a low IQ!), pontificating, two-faced, all-about-you, perfectionist

Here is a share, that hides the Silver Bullet in plain sight
I slipped back into the gutter these past two days, or rather nights. But I was shown something this time, about how I maybe haven"t been really interested in growing up, and haven"t fully owned that. How it"s MY decisions and actions that have given me this life, and how a lot of them aren"t leading to a pretty place, but it"s up to me to do things differently. I can see how I"ve been a pleasure seeker or a hedonist ever since I was a kid who was spoiled by my grandmother, and allowed to be lazy. Hoping, on some level, that I can get away with that, that it"s compatible with the good life, but it"s not. Avoiding responsibility, I think.

I recalled what Sophie said in the article which has been coming back to me for a while now, and recognized myself: "When you need to confront me, and tell me the things about yourself that you don"t like, your slothfulness, or your complacency, or your anger, you are pretending while you are doing that. As if your behavior, attitude, etc. didn"t constitute who you are. It does. And unless you own it, fully, THERE IS NOTHING THAT YOU CAN DO ABOUT IT."

And one thing I glimpsed from Sophie"s recent article is that I haven"t really been disgusted with what I"ve been doing, and that I could bring disgust to it. Which doesn"t mean making it wrong – that would be not sticking to the reality. It seems like I"ve been missing the distinction there… it"s like so far I"ve been mostly familiar with fixing, coming from "there"s something wrong or missing here". It seems that as I would start seeing that any "wrong" is not based on reality, and start dropping some of the rigid rules, the ugly would come up (like it maybe has) – the ugly that was until now covered up or controlled for using force. Does that make sense?

If so, then interrupting this process of seeing by reacting to my case, and jumping back, at some point, into making what I saw wrong and fixing, may have formed a trap I"ve been stuck in… where I could never fully own who I was.

Either way, I think I can now declare that I hit rock bottom...

None of those words would not hurt my feelings... I could be saying "it is true some of the time"... no resistance.

When you know your Silver Bullet you can immediately start working on accepting it, embracing it, owning it, choosing it. And be truly disgusted by it as intolerable... It is wickedly difficult, but not impossible. It is the energy of disgust that makes the change... not the "desire" to become better. The "desire" will make you hide it.

Nowadays if you tell me I am unkind, I will look and nod. I am still disgusted.

I am a critical Virgo plus a "Forget Thyself", so yeah, I am naturally blunt, but I don"t mean to be unkind. I mean to be truthful. It works some of the time, and it doesn"t work most of the time. If you consider your feelings, your emotion reality, then you won"t appreciate what I say, because it triggers bad feelings. But if you look in reality: my assessment of you is accurate.

The Abundance Activator audio

The Abundance Activator audio is kinder than me, because it does the work wordlessly. So it will prune away the wants, and the evil inclinations, and the unimaginative mental slothfulness, and puts you in the position, where you can increase your sense of power to make money, or enjoy the money you have.

It needs to be played in the background, so it can work on your unconscious.

It works on you only while it is playing.

Special offer: Get a free high quality mini speaker

To celebrate 2019 and to raise some quick cash, I am offering a special deal that, I hope, is hard for you to refuse.

The audio itself sells for $30.

I throw in a high quality speaker that can work from you pc, or anything that plays the audio, and it has the option to play from a micro TF card that can be inserted. It also has Bluetooth.

I have a few on hand, once they are gone, I"ll order for you from China... it takes about two weeks for shipping from there.

The speaker is $20.99 on Amazon

But you get it for free when you get the Abundance Audio.

Removing the leaks created by your inner habits, your attitude, your "how"

The current humanity, homo sapiens, is ignorant to the 90% of reality, the invisible reality. They are like a bunch of Missourians, the show me state... ((Missouri’s United States Congressman, Willard Duncan Vandiver. Back in the year of 1899 with a skeptical tone of voice, he spoke to Philadelphia’s Five o"clock Club saying the following:

"I come from a state that raises corn and cotton and cockleburs and Democrats, and frothy eloquence neither convinces nor satisfies me. I am from Missouri. You have got to show me."

The underlying meaning of his statement may be interpreted as: Missourians are not naïve - and if you wish us to believe you, convincing evidence has to be displayed. )) Building and changing the invisible habits

Most people judge by appearances, overt actions, your voice, your actions. But those cover only the top 10% of who you are.

The remaining 90% is invisible, sometimes even to yourself.

And as with everything in our 10% world, what defines how the 10% "manifests" is the 90%. ((Surprising to me is that even high achievers don"t know, don"t see what and how they do things, what is their attitude that makes them high achievers, or if they do, no one hears them.

T Harv Eker"s programs used to say: inner work for outer results, or something like that. But he knows very little about the inner world... because he focuses on the popular issue of a human: their minds. Of course he would: that is where the money is... Why? Because you have been brainwashed! You think the mind is the same as your brain power! And while you can"t tell the difference between the brain and the mind, you can"t tell the difference between your ass and a hole in the ground... Now please hate me... lol.

Or the other shyster, Christie Marie Sheldon who"ll disappear your blockages to wealth... I have to give it to her: she is a witch with considerable killing power: I suffer from it every day. But disappearing blockages to wealth? lol.))

Two people can do the exact same things, and produce strikingly different results inside and outside.

If you take two people, same physical characteristics, same looks, same age, same knowledge... maybe they are identical twins.

You give them a series of tasks, and ask them to do it with a different attitude: chop wood, prepare a financial statement, sell a piece of art, a horse feeding equipment, teach a dog to sit... anything really.

Their results will have 90% reflect their attitude. Their attitude towards themselves, towards the thing they are doing, towards you who gave them the tasks.

Yesterday"s article dealt with the invisible... the attitude.

I have a handful of students in the Reclaim program... and most of them wrote to me. Most of them dream about stuff... but none of them is doing anything or much to get better at what they do for a living.

Which results in a life they don"t love... of course.

I am not talking about the results of your work... I am talking about the doing of your work.

If you have your attention on your results, I can guarantee that you are not doing good work. You can"t... your inner eyes are not on what you are doing... So only a fragment of you, the automatic you is available... whereas to do good work, you need to apply yourself: all of you.

I love my life about 90% of the time... I love the doing part. I don"t love the result part. But when I do the doing, my attention is 100% on that, and I am grooving... even when i do mundane stuff, like updating stuff on 50 different websites I own. Repetitive, and could be boring... but it isn"t. It is a lot like cooking, or fishing, or sawing, or playing cards... every moment is slightly different, offering different challenges, so no chance to be bored.

The Zen monks say life is about cutting wood and carrying water. When you cut wood and carry water, you fantasize about dinner, or a trip to Tanzania, or think about needing a hair cut... The Zen monks give all their attention to what they are doing, and they are content, they are fulfilled.

I like Zen... it is taking back your power. Your power is with your attention, your power is with your attitude.

Of course, we live in the world. And the world is full of underachievers, busy underachievers who can"t shut up. Or listen to something or other all the time: nobody home.

If you want to live a life that is full of joy, where you love what you do, where you can love the people in your life, where you enjoy yourself... you need to learn the different unproductive attitudes and habits that take up your life.

There are quite a few. They are all in the Starting Point Measurements, but unless you really know how things work in the invisible, the Starting Point Measurements won"t help you: I have started to cut the number of characteristics I provide for people"s $15 to 11, instead of the original 27. They are happier... and I am happier.

Those 27 habitual ways of being (attitude habits) are practically about 5-6 distinct thinking habits.

In the upcoming Playground program we"ll deal with two of them: in the frequency and importance they cover 90% of the unproductive habits you can have. Amazing, isn"t it? ((In a webinar format, where I act as the moderator and occasional teacher, and the members of the group work with me, one-on-one. If you come to every session, and if you work with me every session, after just three session you got more private coaching with me than I offer in my private coaching sessions for a lot more money.

This program, because of the need to practice, will probably go for a long time.))

Of course, like with everything, knowing about these dynamics, these leaks, won"t make a difference. Doing them once... ditto.

Like with everything you need to practice and practice them right.

In the original Playground group (in 1988) the results started to really carry over people"s lives after a whole year, and blossomed after two.

It is penny wise and dollar foolish to not sign up... but then that is your life... isn"t it? Penny wise and dollar foolish.

If there are enough people I"ll open two groups...

And if you know a game developer, I"d love to talk to that person.

Yesterday I saw that the Andy Shaw outfit came up with a board game. Meh... But if I could come up with a game similar to EyeQ where one can practice the two fundamental "moves" daily, in a fun way, 5-6 minutes at a time, I think I may be able to say what Archimedes said: "Give me a lever long enough and a fulcrum on which to place it, and I shall move the world." Yeah... I would say that. Because the results for the players would be that significant.

I am reading a book, I don"t know if I"d recommend it yet, where an alien intelligence sets up a "game" to decimate humanity to create a group of a few million people who can achieve singularity and beat the superintelligence that threatens it.

If you don"t know beans about singularity and superintelligence, you are not alone... I don"t either. But when i look at my work, most of humanity isn"t going to take control of their inner world, their attitudes, their inner habits, because they are not interested.

If I had to guess, a few millions may.

And if I had to make up what is evolutionary singularity, I would say humans, homo sapiens, acquiring the ability and the states of beingness of "gods"... and this is what we are working on... this is what I am guiding my students to do. ((OK, I just spent three minutes reading what "they" say... Of course no one can see the unused potential in correcting the evolutionary/thinking mistakes of humans... so they go to Artificial Intelligence... But it"s still going in the wrong direction... ugh... I hope we"ll never live the future they are predicting.))

Just getting good at the two skills, the playground and choosing improves your life manifold and places you head and shoulders above the rest of humanity.

You"ll stop worrying about your vibration (result) and put your attention to what you are doing and how you are doing it... Watching the scoreboard will mire you in desire trap... And there is no hell more hellish than living in a desire trap.

Generosity, choosing, gratitude

Generosity was one of the distinctions I spent years researching and trying to BE...

It is a tricky way to be, the full meaning of generosity, because almost no one ever is really generous.

We normally equate giving with generosity. Some give stuff, others give praise, some give of themselves.

Most generosity makes the recipient suspicious: what is the ulterior motive?

And rightly so: culturally, human culture, I mean, generosity doesn"t make sense... only trade does. "I give you this, so you"ll give me that."

And yet, there are a very few people who are actually generous, and they are happy. WTF, right?

Here is another important question: just like with love, whose experience matters, the giver or the receiver?

I have been teaching that the only way to experience love is to love. That you can only feel your own energy: I, in fact, never ever have felt love from another. Which doesn"t mean no one has loved me, I am talking about the experience.

So is there something similar with generosity?

That you experience generosity when you GIVE, not when you RECEIVE?

What does generosity, real generosity feel like?

Real generosity is a life changer.

The moment you are generous, really generous, in that moment, you have overcome ego, or the selfish gene... and you are in a space of abundance, as opposed to scarcity where most people live, where, maybe even you, live most of the time.

Scarcity says that there is something wrong. That you need all you got, and more. Money, love, freedom, liberty, respect, everything. That if you give it away, you"ll have less.

And it doesn"t matter how much you have, the dynamic is the same.

And scarcity is a tough master, it can torture you, and it won"t allow you to breathe freely.

So when you escape it for a moment, or through certain practices, for long stretches of time, maybe hours!, it is a major event.

Because you cross an invisible line, an evolutionary line, between human and human being... however long it lasts.

There are two other ways of being that we talk about frequently, that could be grouped with generosity, because without the leap to abundance they are as impossible as generosity.

These are gratitude and choosing.

Thanking someone isn"t gratitude, just like giving isn"t generosity. What makes it gratitude is the total disappearance of the precious "I" aka ego, for a little while.

And choosing is the same. What you choose is seemingly your enemy: reality. Reality with all its ugly events, bad things happening, etc.

Someone in a comment asked "What were you choosing in this article. ..."choose that", "choose it"

I am talking about nasty things that are happening to me, to my students, to the water, and everyone in between.
The idea to choose that to be the way it is is ludicrous: after all it feels like you condone it, your choosing it perpetuates it.

But that is scarcity thinking. When you resist, fight what is, you get frozen into that mood of resisting: misery. And sometimes you don"t even notice that it is gone...

But that is not the point that it"s gone. The point is to get out of your own way, and just embrace what is.

I have a favorite quote that it took me a long time to fully get... but it was worth it.
Arthur Miller – Take One"s Life in One"s Arms

I think it"s a mistake to ever look for hope outside of one"s self. One day the house smells of fresh bread, the next of smoke and blood. One day you faint because the gardener cuts his finger off, within a week you"re climbing over corpses of children bombed in a subway. What hope can there be if that is so? I tried to die near the end of the war. The same dream returned each night until I dared not to go to sleep and grew quite ill. I dreamed I had a child, and even in the dream I saw it was my life, and it was an idiot, and I ran away. But it always crept onto my lap again, clutched at my clothes. Until I thought, if I could kiss it, whatever in it was my own, perhaps I could sleep. And I bent to its broken face, and it was horrible... but I kissed it. I think one must finally take one"s life in one"s arms.

Arthur Miller
from the play After the Fall

Embracing what you don"t want, embracing your own life is the generous act of choosing.

Here is an interview with Keith Ferrazzi by Tai Lopez that says a lot of what I discovered in those years, and some.

Choosing, choosing what is

You"ll need beginner"s mind for this...

Some mornings I have nothing to say. I am likely running on empty.

Two reasons, two causes, two energy leaks:
  • 1. reading something that has no substance to fill me up ((I am reading a book that Amazon readers rated an average 4.7 stars (out of five) and it is like eating candy or Chinese food... empty "calories" that use your energy instead of giving you some. I have found that reviews can"t be trusted. If 99% of humanity, even readers, are sheep, then their reviews are reviews by sheep... Do I want to read what the sheep likes? No. But at the same time I just finished reading five books by another writer, same star rating, and I learned soooooooo much, I felt sad when the books were over. So you don"t know. You have to take a risk. 50 pages should be enough to know if the book is going to fill you up, or empty you. Same with videos, TV series, movies, friends, parties, trips, courses... Wasting money is better than wasting your energy.)) and

  • 2. talking to someone whose echo empties me... like a black hole.

So what do I do? I have some "authors",  mostly on Medium.com whose writings are idea-sparkers... without making me a plagiarist or a second-hander.

Even that move  didn"t work this morning.

In a course I did 31 years ago, I learned a trick to get some energy when I have none. It"s called "directing traffic".

But it could also be called: a job completed releases energy... so complete some small tasks so you get energy for some bigger tasks... or, in my case, for creativity.

So I did two loads of laundry, swept the floor, and here I am, I have something to say...

Completion generates energy

Easy-peasy.

So what I want to write about is choosing. The "lost art".

I looked up my already published articles and found six... and I am going to list them at the end of this article, to support this new article with... I hope it will work.

Because choosing is fundamental to you living the good life, living a life worth living, living a life you can love.

The only good thing in the book series I am now going to stop reading, the soul-sucking, energy-killing one I mention in the beginning of this article, is that the person, I guess the protagonist, is forced to choose, pretty much all the time...

YOU don"t know you can choose, and you don"t know that you don"t choose. And you definitely don"t know that you have, in a way, chosen the situation you are in, the way you feel, the thing you do.

Our attitude towards our lives is BECAUSE... assigning cause to some circumstance

You "choose" and when I ask why you chose what you chose, you have a because... which means that you didn"t choose. The because chose. The reason.

The "I want it", or "I like it", or "I don"t like it"... or "It"s cold", or "that is what is on sale"... Or "I don"t have enough money"...

Millions of becauses choose for you... YOU don"t choose.

Choosing is selecting freely, after consideration. When the reason chooses, you didn"t...

My life turned around when I got choice.

It was about 30 years ago. I sold advertising in my own publication. The advertisers were club owners, and they took pride in cheating everyone out of their money... not paying, or giving me checks drawn on closed accounts, or insufficient fund.

One afternoon I showed up at one of the clubs, carrying my sleeping bag. "I am going to stay until I get paid" I said simply and started to unroll my sleeping bag. The owner immediately found the money to pay me.

And I saw something: Club owners are assholes. But instead of being angry about that, I saw that they are supposed to be assholes. Just like "it is supposed to be cold in winter... why complain! why pretend that it"s a surprise?"

And just like you know what to do when it"s cold (get dressed warmly) I knew instantly what to do when my clients were assholes.

"Your ad won"t even be designed until I have the money in my hand. Cash or a cleared check."

Now, this sounds easy, but you cannot do it unless you get that it is your choice. Choosing puts the power squarely in your hands, on your shoulder.

Not all club owners are assholes, by the way... I chose my attitude myself. Not because it is true... but because that is what I chose. That is what was making my life work... brilliantly, I might add.
  • Employees did what employees were supposed to do: do as little as they could.

  • The publication was late when the publication was late.

  • I wrote my editorial in a dazed state in the last minute after 72 hours or more not sleeping at all...

  • I chose my mother to be the way she was, my brothers the way they were, myself the way I was: warts and all.

I have been able to expand the sphere of things and circumstances I can choose to cover 90% of everything I could choose.

If you decide to employ this amazing method, you"ll start at the beginning. And as long as you are able to maintain a beginner"s mind, you"ll find that you have a lot less annoyance or frustration, and a lot more freedom.

At some point you"ll notice that you can see what"s amiss with people, with government, with systems, with industry, with billionaires, and still be able to keep your head about you by choosing them the way they are.

You"ll stop fighting against anything or anyone... and choose to become the best YOU you can become.

You won"t try to save the planet. You won"t try to change people. You won"t blame, complain, and obsess. Or not as much.

I am finding that even that missing 10% is a lot... hours a week! It used to be weeks, months, years... so it is not THAT much, but it"s still a lot.

It"s a process. You can"t make jumps other than in your mind, in your imagination, but not in reality... you can only choose what is consistent with the laws of the physical universe, no matter what anyone says.

Here is the list of the old articles, all about choosing. You"ll notice how much I have grown, changed, and that makes it very interesting... to me.
