Transformation? Is that even possible from where you are? Tai Lopez vibrational review

I monitor visitor behavior on my site... to see how they treat my articles... I spend a few minutes a week, in the morning. It often gives me an idea of what to write about, what to teach next.

This article is a result of that few minutes of looking today.

Oh, I mostly look at people who signed up to get an email notification each time I publish a new article... by the way. Those people have expressed interest, so I want to see what people who say "I am interested" are doing.

There are two kinds of "readers" that I have detected.
  • The first kind reads the whole article, reads the footnotes, and then returns later and reads the article again.

  • The second kind skims the articles. Skims 2-3 articles per minute, looking for something interesting to read.

What does this behavior tell me?

Every book teaches bloggers like myself to write on the level of the reader, which is, in my case, people whose level of accurate knowledge of reality is about 300 words... very low. We could say a third or fourth grader level. They don"t know much, and their level of astuteness, the accuracy and speed with which they recognize things for what they are is about 3%. That means of a hundred things they look at, they recognize 3 accurately, and don"t recognize 97 at all, or they don"t recognize them accurately.

These are the people who consider themselves "smart". Above average. And some of them may even fancy themselves "brilliant".

Tai Lopez teaches a reading style he calls "looking for the gold nugget." For him reading"s purpose is to find good ideas. ((His vibration, clarity number haven"t changed in the past three years...

Starting Point Measurements Tai Lopez 11.11.2018

1. your vibration (1-1000): 170
2. your overall intelligence, emotional, intellectual, spiritual, body, relationship, etc.: 30
3. the number of spiritual capacities you have: 5
4. your soul correction (your machine): April 11, 1977 Building Bridges https://www.yourvibration.com/sc
5. do you have attachments? no
6. the level of your health (1-100): 10%
7. the level of your cell hydration (1-100): 7%
8. your relationship to feedback and instruction: disgust
9. The level of discomfort you are willing to allow w/o trying to fix it. This is your TLB score... 1
10. The size of your vocabulary: the number of words you can use accurately: 700 (7% astuteness)
11. To what degree you think of yourself: 50%
12. # of fixed mindset: 10%
13. Ambition: 70%
14. Desire: 10%
15. Degree of inauthenticity overall: 10%
16. Level of integrity 1-100: 3%
17. how enslaved are you to memes? (what percentage of your life is run by memes?) 70%
18. do you have a bridge between your precious "I" and your actual I? What is your level of self-delusion? 70%
19. To what degree you have access to your adult capacities 10%
20. How teachable/how coachable are you? 2%
21. The level of your awareness? 3%
23. the percentage of time you spend in the mind: 60%
24. the percentage of input that gets through to you. 10%
25. How inspired can you become? And what level are you now 10%/10%

What changed? How many followers he has, maybe his net worth, and the number of products he creates.

What may also increased is how delusional he is about being right... knowing things accurately.

Can he connect the dots? (Read the previous two articles if you don"t know what I am talking about...) Muscle test has a definitive answer of "no" to that question.

What does the "no" answer indicates? Is he missing in enough knowledge islands? No. He has many knowledge isles. Almost all of them are the size of a gold nugget... lol.

So what is missing for him to build a network of knowledge so he is not the sum total of his tiny islands, but 10-20-30 times that size, because of the integration? Connecting the dots integrates your knowledge...

Muscle test says: it is because of his delusional self-view where he is a "genius".

If you are observant enough, I use the words smart and genius in quotation marks to say that they are a delusional self-image, not actuality.

Your self-image is going to limit what you"ll do.

One things "brilliant" people don"t do is go deep. Another they don"t do: get all the words from a book or an article... they will get their interpretation of what is being said, not what is actually being said.

They fancy themselves more intelligent than the speaker or the writer, and think that what they got, their own interpretation of what was said.

Result: low level of astuteness, and very low level of knowledge... low truth value. The level of knowledge and the truth value of that knowledge gets anchored to a low number by virtue of them only repeating, hear being repeated, what they already know.

I normally don"t measure this, but let me do this here: on a level of 1-100, how happy is Tai Lopez? 3% says the muscle test.

In my humble opinion, your innards, your real self, the Life Force within you knows to what degree you are who you say you are... This is what I call integrity. Your relationship to your word.

The closer your two selves are, the self who you fancy yourself to be, and the Self who you really are, the happier you are with yourself. And when you are happy with yourself, you are happy with your life, and that means: you are happier.

We call the gap the "impostor syndrome". It is horrible.

The interesting thing is how many good things Tai says... even though he isn"t living that way...

But that is exactly what I am talking about. THAT gap... ))

If you are one of these skimmers, if you consider that you can catch and recognize good ideas in my articles, you are better off reading the popular articles on the internet by other writers.  They write about things you already know about, so it is easy to see what they are talking about.

The complexity of the ideas in my articles are on the PhD student level... Even my diligent students find them hard to grasp.

Of course it all depends on many factors whether you can follow my ideas:
  • 1. your vibration

  • 2. your vocabulary... meaning the measure I use in the Starting Point Measurements. It is really a clarity score... it measures how astute you are.

  • 3. your "about you" number

Why do I write on the level of a PhD student? Because the subject matter is on that level. Because it is way way way beyond what is taught in school, it is beyond what a "scientist" can see...

Here is a recent example of what scientists/professionals can see: At the end of September I fell. I broke my wrist. I went to the emergency room in the "teaching hospital" in my town. They Xray-ed my arm... took more than 30 pictures. Then a doctor came, pulled on my broken wrist, and plastered it.
  • I felt that my wrist was messed up, and from the pain at certain movements,

  • I felt that the wrist was broken more than just on the side they said it was...

Now it"s six weeks later, and, of course, my wrist is still broken at those places they could not see. So it hurts.

People can see what they can see, interpret accurately what they see accurately.

And that is the clarity score...

I, inadvertently, use my articles to screen people who will be able to use my knowledge to advance themselves to human being level. People who are willing to invest the time to train their brains, train their attention, and increase their clarity.

The rest: I probably can"t help to go all the way.

I learned this from famed marketer, Frank Kern.

Yesterday we had the men"s group"s Playground session. It was fairly obvious that the biggest block in being able to see what is being taught is the measure I call "humility", that measures to what degree you look at the world through your personal perspective where you are in the center, and often what you see also stops with you: you project your views on others.

OK... here is something that will either surprise you, or delight you:

The higher your "about me" measure, the less of the world you can see, and yet you"ll think that you are either "smart" or maybe even "brilliant."

When your "about me" measure gets lower, you"ll start to get access to curiosity by virtue of seeing how much you don"t know.

Yesterday I watched half of a long video where billionaires Warren Buffet and Bill Gates were interviewed. Both have their "about me" score at 10%. That is where you can see beyond yourself, and get interested in things for knowledge"s sake.

I also watched an interview with Jim Kwik... famed learning/memory expert... His "about me" score is even lower, 7%.

If your "about me" score is high, you have a hard time getting interested, and even wrap your brain around what is being taught. You are in your own way.

What if you are already a student of mine, and your "about me" score is high?

It just so happens that I saw a way in yesterday Playground session that can get you out of the way... if you are willing.

If you can see that other people look through their own vantage point, and whatever is happening is different over there... whatever you are doing causes them to have an experience, different from yours. If you can see that there are "consequences" to everything you do... over there, then I can help you lower your "about me" score.

You"ll realize that you trying to meet other people"s expectation of you, without ever finding out what is important to them, is a trap you are caught in... part and parcel with a high "about me" score.

The operative words are "if you can see". If you don"t, then that is your next invisible to make visible for yourself.

Until you do, you"ll remain imprisoned in the "how come I am a genius and yet I am so miserable" little box.

And once you can see how your life, how your actions look "over there", you"ll have a magical feeling shift... what is called transformation.

Transformation is, in the simplest terms, being able to see a different view of what"s in front of you.

Obviously it is not for everyone. If you stand in the way, you won"t see what you are not seeing, because you can only see yourself.

Transformation? Is that even possible from where you are? Tai Lopez vibrational review

You want a better life? Want to avoid a life of quiet desperation? Resignation? Here is your path...

70% of your life is made up of the things you do every day... your habits. The remaining 30% is what you don"t have control over.

Most programs you can buy make up what to teach. Given that the average truth value of programs is around 2%, what they teach must come untried, untested, and altogether not true.

Tai"s approach (Tai Lopez, 67 steps) was different. He looked at, primarily, billionaires, secondarily at famous scientists or other authors.

The truths he gleaned from billionaires: 30% truth value, the truths he gleaned from authors: 10% truth value. Hm, interesting.

Where does the difference come from?

Most people speak from their minds, test their theories using test subjects instead of themselves. So their published results are rarely any good.

On the other hand, billionaires test their theories in action, and if the theory proves itself to be very useful, they make it a habit.

Most people, whether they are in my 67 steps coaching program or not, consider the course a learning experience. But learning is all mind-stuff, and I really don"t care what you know unless your actions become different.

You need to make the learning instinctual... Instinctual is another word for habit.

So the 67 steps coaching can be called a habit building program.

In this youtube video the dude represents the most important element:
it takes time to install a habit.

Weeks, sometimes months. A new habit performed with flaws is s flawed habit, worse than useless: it is harmful.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tZw8tnz-uv8

The second principle, in changing or installing habits is
leaving no backdoor open.

Most people are wishy washy, and their word is worth nothing.
Often, the difference between a successful installation of a habit and an unsuccessful one is the words themselves.

Dr. Glenn Livingston, in the video I show in a previous article says it best: the words need to show definite intention.

Another example is the 12 steps programs, where the principle is "one day at a time".
Building habits will show you your mettle, will really show you who you are.

If you are an addict with weak personality, you need to, probably stick with the one day at a time. Glenn Livingston method woks for me best: Never... ever! or "so help me god"... and then I very rarely fall off the wagon, if ever.

There is a science to changing habits.

All new habits replace some old habits... And old habits are strong... You are a click-whirr machine... and you need to build yourself to create a new "whirr", so to say.

But before we get to how to do that, let me point out, that the dude in the youtube video did something that he didn"t say:
He first stopped leaks of energy.

The new habits, each, was designed to plug in leaks and instead of leaking energy, give you energy. The energy you feel when you start your day early is not new energy: it is energy that you have been leaking.

Same with your sedentary lifestyle, chasing some agenda every single moment, not having time for building relationships, exhausting your glycogen (your will power) early in the day, and being jerked by your desires ((Learn the secrets of success from those who built their own empires from scratch. You can try adopting the habits of super rich people and see how it will help you save money.
  • Successful people are rarely night owls; they go to bed and wake up quite early.

So this was the first habit I decided to take on. By the end of the first week, I noticed that I was able to do way more before noon than I could ever do during the whole day. One more week into the experiment I started waking up completely well-rested and excited to start a new day.
  • Self-made successes swear by exercising every day for at least 30 minutes. After just 10 days, it already became a habit. I became more concentrated and calmer.

  • If meditating helps successful people stay on top of their game, it should help me out too.

  • Networking is like currency for successful people.

  • A lot of successful people (like Steve Jobs, for instance) keep a super minimalistic approach to fashion, often wearing the same outfit every day.

  • Truly smart and successful people control their expenses and don’t spend their money on useless things.))

I live with those habits.

There are a lot more habits you can learn from billionaires... so the longer you consider that your 67 steps program is about building habits that build a life you love and live it powerfully, the more powerfully you can live. And I am there for you to do it.

Same, by the way, with The Science of Getting Rich Coaching... thinking and acting in the Certain Way... that program is also a habit building program.

The accountability program: ditto.

T. Harv Eker said, famously, that becoming a multi-millionaire is not about the millions, not about the money.

It is about becoming the kind of person who can become a millionaire.

Hordes of people visit my "The vibration of money" post of mine. Obviously they don"t know that becoming a "match to the vibration of money" means: they need to become a new, different person.
And what makes you who you are today is your habits. Habitual thinking, habitual relating, habitual attitudes, habitual actions. Your habits. All your habits.

The reason you lose every penny when you inherit your money, or win big in the casino or in the lottery, is that who you are is still the guy before you got all that money.
Money doesn"t change who you are, your habits do.

Your character flaws, your clueless and self-centered way to relate to the world will keep you small and the same, or often in a downward spiral.

You are as young as you"ll ever be.

If you want a different future, start changing yourself into a person who will have a different future.

You can. The question is: will you?

And there is a little known secret that I learned from Charles Duhigg"s book: The Power of Habit

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=szgoDIkimNU
To look for the trigger...the trigger right before the habit.

It is not always easy, but you"ll get the hang of it if you stick with it.

Unless you get the trigger, chances that you"ll be able to change the habit are suddenly reduced to 5%. The biggest issue is that you haven"t brought consciousness to the habit... you are vague, wishful, and probably intentionally "approximately". Or convoluted. Or conman-like: deceptive. Or unwilling to take responsibility: a victim.

This is how you live your life, because how you do anything is how you do everything.

This character defect will eat your lunch... so you need to start beating it first. Bring clarity, commitment, precision, simplicity, honesty, and ownership to your intentions.

This will be the linchpin. You do this "taming" work, wrestling your bad habit under you higher self"s control through individual small successes.

You cannot do it alone... unless, of course, your integrity score is already above 30%.

You may not even do it even if you are working with me... because wiggling out of unpleasant is your habit... your TLB is too low.

So as you can see, it is a wholistic job to change your life. It"s challenging... But it"s worth it. At least every student or client who managed to tackle the habits with my help says so.

And so do I... I have changed my habits, and I am much much much better for it.

But make sure you know that it takes time...

Seeing... one of the Metaskills that will raise your vibration

I am reading the Metaskills book.

I am reading it for you and for me.

This book has given me a big insight... and ultimately a breakthrough, though we shall see...

OK, let me start at the beginning.

Most books are either easy or difficult to read. Why? I just found out.

This book, the Metaskills was alternating between easy to read and difficult to read.

At some point it felt like thick mud I needed to wade through.

Why? I had no idea how what he was talking about was connecting to what the book was supposedly about.

I am nearly certain that this happens to you often. The thought is "What does this have to do with the price of tea in China?" or some other dismissive thought.

I was turning the pages back to find the context. Context is what makes something make sense. Context is like the box telling you what"s in it... Sometimes the part doesn"t tell you how it belongs.

My "not self" is frustration. Yours may be anger, fear, discouragement, or boasting...

I am also a blamer. When I am frustrated I instantly blame something or someone. I don"t have to think about it. It"s automatic.

So when the reading was getting hard, and I had no idea why he wrote what he wrote, I blamed the author, I blamed the editor, I blamed my stupidity...

But when I tried to find the context, and found it, a whole new world opened up.

I realized that this guy is working on a very very very big canvas. I thought I had a big canvas, and I did. I just recently was able to upgrade it... I have been able to see things connecting over a big canvas. This jump in the size gave a 15 point jump to my IQ too.

But this guy"s canvas, the "box" is way bigger than what I am used to.

It took me work to catch up to it, but I did. Hanging on with all my might... barely.

So how does this work? I call the size of the canvas your cone of vision. In camera language, how wide angle is the picture you can take. How wide you can see everything.

Because the world is so busy, and because it feels distracting. humans narrow their cone of vision as a defense of their space, themselves.

It feels totally logical, but it actually causes a big mischief. A bunch of symptoms, including symptoms similar to agoraphobia...

But beyond that, it causes a marked lowering of your IQ. Why? Because you start to make decisions that feel true inside the two-bit picture you see, but are completely and totally inaccurate in a wider context.

In the two-bit picture the only question you have: which one. Either one or the other.

But in the big picture you can ask many questions that don"t get you stuck with the binary mindset: how, what, where...

Depending on the questions you ask, your life is miserable, or your life is an adventure.

If your life doesn"t feel like an adventure, you can be sure that your cone of vision, the canvas you live your life on is very narrow.

This narrowing of your cone of vision is a behavioral disability. It is not a brain disorder, or an eye disorder. It is a lot like diabetes: it is the result of behavior.

Fear based. Desire for the self alone.

But it is counter-instinctive... this narrow cone of vision further cause you to narrow your cone of vision.

When I went to the behavioral eye doctor in 1996, I was in pitiful emotional state.

My eye training was six months long and it was expensive. Very expensive.

I had to do exercises I had to do with 3-d glasses. Then exercises walking in the street, or driving. And exercises crawling on the floor.

I still practice the second exercise when I start feeling that my world is closing down on me. When fear starts to take over.

After the elections I had to practice daily to be able to keep my spirits up.

What"s the connection between fear and your cone of vision?

When your cone of vision narrows, everything outside of that narrow cone shows up as a threat. Movements there are in the shadows. You narrowed your cone of vision to answer your fears, and it caused you to have more fear. Bummer.

Why crawling on the floor was part of the method?

One of the most useful methods to combat fear is to look at what is scary, from another angle.

When you crawl, you train your brain to do that: look at your world from a different angle. Even the scariest things look less scary or not scary from a different angle, or when you look at them straight.

For example feelings. When you can take out the feeling and examine it on the palm of your hand, you can see, always, that it"s just a feeling. Not that big scary hairy monster it looked from your usual vantage point... inside.

The Metaskills book forced me to widen my cone of vision... and it suggested that I can also control the length of the vision, or depth in camera language... that is the time factor.

The book says that this is one of the skills that will allow the person with this skill to survive and maybe even thrive in the upcoming Robotic Age.

Why? Because problem solving is one of the values a person can provide. The bigger problems you solve, the higher your salary or pay.
  • A server in a restaurant can get away with solving small problems.

  • A marriage counselor is forced to solve bigger problems that are harder to solve.

  • A CPA/financial advisor, when they solve an even bigger problem, the result can be a lot more money for the client.

The solution is only possible when you can see, accurately, the cause of the problem, and the environment around them.
  • One of my students is a heavy machinery mechanic: the number of causes to any problem can be many.More often than not, the cause of the problem is smack on the opposite side of his "canvas", his cone of vision, and he needs to get to it, without losing sight of the problem.Which means: his job cannot be done well with a narrow cone of vision.

  • Another one of my students owns a paving company. He started out with a very narrow cone of vision. And he was suffering, and the company was barely surviving. With the work he did with the 67 steps, and listening to my Sunday Rants, his cone of vision is almost as wide as it needs to become to take the company to the next level from where it can not just survive, but grow.

Now, truth be told, depending on your occupation, if your job is easy and routine, you may have to be forced to widen your cone of vision, and to lengthen the depth (time).

If your job is not suitable, you"ll have to do exercises, instead of just doing your job with an ever widening cone of vision. Or add harder problems to solve as a hobby.
  • One of my students is stuck, and has been stuck for a year writing his thesis to get a degree. He has an issue both in the width and the depth of his vision... He cannot see the causality. Everything that is outside of his cone of vision shows up as threatening or a disruption. And he cannot see the depth, the consequences of his actions and inaction over time.Unless and until he does, he"s remain stuck. What a pity.He does have the perfect environment to train himself, but he would have to start... And thus far he has not.

When I did the eye training back in 1996, I didn"t really know how to grow from this ability. And I didn"t, or not really.

I felt better, I had a little bit more freedom, but still no growth.

When you consider your physical "disability" physical only, or mindset only, you may fix yourself, but you won"t grow.

Only when you can see the two opposite edges of the canvas, one side the cause, the other side the effect or the issue... that you suddenly feel inspired, and motivated to conquer the new world the solution can give you. How you can dance to the result, how you can dance to the future.

I learned how to take control of my eyes, I experienced less fear, but I didn"t know that I could use that bigger cone of vision to evaluate causes to my misery, and the longer cone... to see the effects of my actions before I took them.

That came much later.

The Sunday Rants faithfully document my growth, my insights, and my cone of vision changing over the years.

I have been having this calls since 2007, but have been posting the recordings only since March of last year.

I charge $20 per call. They are worth a lot of money in the right hands. They may be worthless to you.

If someone subscribes: it"s $15/per week.

Because they are not lectures, but a conversation with someone who is a lot like you, the calls are a lot more effective than a lecture can ever be.

Yesterday I bought two lectures for 90 bucks. One of them has completely lost me: I have no foundation to even understand what the guy is talking about.

But for someone who regularly reads my articles, who participate with me, these are a treasure trove, because of the type of call, and because the personal details I go into, the stories, etc. That I don"t have time, don"t think to, or can"t share on my blog.

One of the big advantages of listening to the calls is hearing that I struggle too, and how I get out of the stuck states. Emotional, financial, relationship, learning, mindset issues all come up. I don"t do these calls for you. I do them for me.

This is my "spiritual practice" to get unstuck, and to keep myself in growth mode. To widen my cone of vision.

It is the closest thing you can get to model after me, if you are so inclined.

Of course if you say to yourself "You are the last person I want to model after..." then don"t waste your time.

Even though Lincoln and other smart people have said: I learn from everyone I talk to. Mostly how not to think, how not to behave, but I learn, nevertheless.

Because you can learn from everyone. I do.

You have to ask for the link to pay: because these are private calls, I pick and choose who I allow to listen.

I like to sell stuff as much as the next guy, but I am very choosy who I want inside my inner circle of intimates.

Seeing... one of the Metaskills that will raise your vibration

Not that big scary hairy monster it looked from your usual vantage point... inside.

Your life is like a boat on sea... Where it"s going is given by the drift 96%

Every learning is becoming. Every action that is aimed at learning but doesn"t lead to becoming... is not learning, it is just a pretense. Treading water. The drift.

But becoming is not easy, and it takes longer than you would expect. OK, longer than I expect. Longer than I have been expecting... :-(

Why? because some of the learning requires you to be "right there", ready for that particular learning. You first need to become ready. One of these learning/becoming steps, (inside my 67 steps coaching program,) is mentoring. Mentoring means spending time learning from people who are 20-30 years ahead of you in what you want to become trained in, in your chosen area of becoming. [note]Why becoming? In the "how you do anything is how you do everything, the how refers to your consciousness. Unless your consciousness changes, your results won"t change. Some current how"s: meek, inconsistent, powerless, pretentious, forceful, hurried, thoughtless, not complete, not thorough, ungenerous, etc. You see that doing things, even different things with the same consciousness will not produce the kind of results you want... I hope you see that.

Werner points out in one of his videos that his attitude in ANY conversation is, that he already knows. That is the opposite of humility and teachability.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eJsSZHfnM6M

[/note]

The way to be with these people, these mentors is based on humility. Unless you are humble, you"ll pick and choose what you accept and what you reject, what you"ll take and what you will not.

It"s like swimming against a strong current... swimming upstream

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZjS3eSNuX_c

Your results will predictably be between null and a little bit. But the whole power of the mentoring process will be wasted on you.

Until you become humble, until you become like a sponge, until you listen closely and then go and implement what you heard, you are not in mentorship... And honestly, no mentor would want to spend time with you.

Now, becoming humble is difficult. Becoming humble feels counter-intuitive. Becoming humble feels dangerous.

And unless you are able to do dangerous things, you won"t do it.

Of course what is intuitive is not true 90% of the time. Most of what"s intuitive will actually work against your best interest because intuition comes from the selfish gene...

People who are willing to take the risk it takes to become humble are happier for it. Respected for it.

This whole thinking is coming from my own experience.

You see, there are levels to everything. And even though I have been reading 2-3-4 books a week, [note]cover to cover, not like Tai, even though I don"t argue with the books,[/note] I haven"t much had the experience of being with the 33% above me while reading.

I am talking about Tai"s principle of spending 33% of your time with people who are 20-30 years ahead of you.

Today I spent a lot of time with Werner Erhard. Not personally, mind you, through audios and videos. But regardless I"ve come away with something I hadn"t known: how you know you are with someone 20-30 years ahead of you is that you can hardly follow them... they are really ahead of you.

You know you are with someone 20-30 years ahead of you is that you can barely follow them

Is it pleasant? No, not really. But unless you do this, unless you work on understanding what is hard to understand, you cannot be growing.

You definitely need humility to stay with it, to trust that you won"t waste your time and that it is taking you someplace you cannot go on your own.

When you declare yourself incompetent, which is how I learned to be humble, you often discover that indeed you are.

But as Aristotle says: the sign of an educated person is to be able to hold two contrary thoughts, or verbatim: It is the mark of an educated mind to be able to entertain a thought without accepting it.

So being incompetent and barely understanding what someone 20-30 years ahead of you says doesn"t mean you are stupid... in some areas maybe you could teach them... But not inside their expertise.

The second part of the challenge is to go out and implement.

Hardly anyone implements anything faithfully... ever.I learned about the drift today from Werner. The drift where you can claim the results, but you are lying.

I learned about the drift today from Werner. The drift where you can claim the results, but you are lying.

I learned about the drift today from Werner. The drift where you often claim the results, but you are lying.

I learned about impacting the drift... I learned that only action impacts the drift. And when you impact the drift, that action also opens you up to being yourself different... this is how you are becoming. Through action. Action is first... becoming is second. [note]When you are waiting to become someone eager to learn, or become curious, or to feel like doing something, you are putting the cart in front of the horse[/note]

Knowing more, even recognizing more, makes little difference... only actions that come from knowing more, and recognizing more make a difference. Both in the world and in you. [note]There is an element I am not talking about here, but may be at the root of action: seeing...[/note]

There is a fallacy that you can control the results. Reality doesn"t work that way. You can control your actions, pick actions that may have a chance to impact the results, but that is the best you can do.

What you can control is the drift.

I work on several key areas of my life, health, the social, money, and fulfillment.

And unless I get better and faster and more courageous in all these areas, the actions I take will be insignificant, slow, or impact-less.

Lastly: what is the drift? The drift is what you see happening when life is left to itself...

Life includes other people... society, your family.

Left alone, without drift-altering actions from you, life goes in its predictable way.
  • You"ll just eat what you have always eaten, even after you find out what is good for you, what is bad for you. what nutrients your diet doesn"t supply.

  • You"ll behave like you have always behaved... you"ll be all about you, you"ll be all about your comfort, your survival, your entertainment, your self-righteousness.

  • Your self-expression will be the expression of the lower self...

and so on, and so forth.

The drift is what we could also call the "default".

Most people"s life is 99.99% drift with occasional episodes of coming up for air. You have moments of brilliance...

You impact your life through impacting the drift. And the drift is strong... and you are weak. Weak in every sense of the word.

In the Starting Point Measurements I measure some of the elements that predict to what degree you are willing and able to impact the drift... i.e. change yourself and change your life. Become someone more deserving so you can deserve a life worth living.

The starting point measurements don"t measure whether you are a good person or a bad person. Both are part of the drift... your goodness, your badness. Your honesty. Your whole behavior. Even what you want. And how you go about getting it.

Part of the drift.

Being someone who can impact the drift is simple, but very hard.

Many people design structures inside which, they hope, they can impact the drift.

Goalsetting is a drift-impacting move... but even if you combine it with affirmations, it doesn"t impact your drift inside... so it won"t impact the drift.

Taking care of that world inside you, impacting the inside drift is harder than impacting the drift outside.

Everyone can accomplish a goal and not change... remain the same old, same old.

A good coach"s job is to attend to the inside... because changing the outside glitters but is pretty worthless.

The number of rich wretched people should be proof of that.

My "specialty" is that I feel when you return to the drift before you yourself realize it.

I am also observing that same thing on myself.

One element of the drift is your "ground of being", your fundamental attitude.

For the past weeks, I have been observing the drift wanting to take over MY ground of being.

The most frequent ground of being in the world is "something is wrong here... something with me, something with you, something with it"...

That ground of being is what gives you your actions, your feelings, your overall relationship with life. The sense that there is something wrong and it needs to be fixed. In a hurry.

What you"ll call wrong varies. It depends, a lot, on your soul correction.

By the way, your soul correction is your "inner drift"... your inner default relationship to yourself, to others, to life.

Now, what if you have been doing a lot, and yet you are still solidly anchored in the drift? You are not changing, your view of life isn"t changing, you don"t feel better about yourself, your life isn"t moving... or is moving to where it has always moved, and you don"t want it to go there?

I have found that the Bach Profile, me measuring what Bach Energies® dominate your inner drift, is very useful in finding the linchpin Bach Flower Energy that if targeted, you can produce a big result because this energy keeps the others also in place

I need to intuit what is the linchpin behavior... and then muscle test if I feel it right.

bach flower remedy bottlesExample: This is an actual person"s Bach profile: if your need for order, cleanliness, (Crab Apple) things being just so, done just so, everyone behaving as they ought to, but - of course - they don"t, you get forceful and self-righteous and domineering... (Vine)... But there is a profound inauthenticity underneath: you yourself don"t live according to your own rules and standards. (Beech) You become impatient, overwhelmed, and ultimately either dutiful, depressed, or both.

Finding the linchpin in this picture was not easy... it was not obvious what inner behavior, if it were pulled out, would set the rest of the inner behavior back to normal.

In this particular Bach profile, muscle test says, it is the "dutiful, carrying the world on your shoulder attitude" that holds the whole wretched picture together. That is the anchor to the drift.

So I advised the person that changing their attitude to doing things to joyful, or "I get to do this" instead of "I have to do this" will collapse the whole structure of misery, and impact the drift... And doing that consistently... it is not an event... like a moment of brilliance, a flash in the pan... We have too many of those. Fireworks, miserable existence.

But knowing that the drift sets in the moment you stop generating your inner attitude, is priceless.
