Learning to learn... how you learn makes all the difference... What is the theta state of mind?

Some days I just can"t write. I don"t want to write.

Some days it doesn"t make any sense to me to write. It feels like I have done all I will ever do, and it hasn"t made a difference.

One of the main stumbling block to me being able to make a difference for you, is how you listen.

You listen with a certain economy. You want to make sure that what you hear is relevant, what you hear is true, what you hear is worth listening to.

How do you make the decision what to FOCUS on?

brain-statesYou go to the only place you have: your mind.

The mind is a storage facility. I contains all the things you have put, consciously or unconsciously, into it.

Up till the age of about 4 years old, you walk around in "learning mode", which is the Theta brain wave state. It is also the brain wave state of hypnosis. In theta brain state your mind is inactive, and only your consciousness is awake.

In theta brain state you have no filters, you have no barriers to what is put into your mind.

You are like a sponge, and everything you"ll ever know, more or less, is now stored in that mind of yours. You never organized that information, you never pondered about it, you never discarded the useless, and strengthen the useful. It is in complete disarray...

So when I talk to you, you go to your mind and check if you have that knowledge already. If it agrees with what I said.

Because what I say is always new, you always come up with a "no". You cannot fit it in with what you already know, because it doesn"t fit.

So you aren"t even touched by what I say... It"s a shower that doesn"t get you wet, unless...

Unless you listen in theta mode.

Entering theta mode is surprisingly easy: you connect to your Tangerine Spot.

As long as you are connected, you have no access to the mind. You are either in the mind, i.e. Beta state, or you are in Theta state.

The art is to allow. Allow what is coming in.

To allow, you need to trust. Trust me and trust yourself.

The lack of trust activates barriers, filters, and there you are: unable to learn anything that would make a difference for you.

What I am teaching is not book knowledge: I am teaching the building blocks of a higher consciousness.

What I teach is useless in the mind: because your mind is low vibration.

The quality and combination of your mind knowledge has a 1% truth value.

Hundreds of people contact me for advice how to raise their vibration. Why? Because the way you live, advised by the 1% truth value mind, is horrible.

You feel horrible. You are not happy. You are not free to be yourself, you don"t know how to be with others in a way that is freeing and enjoyable.

You are trapped in a low vibration hell.

And no matter how many articles you read, how many times, it won"t make a difference, if you are reading with the mind.

All my wisdom will be a shower that doesn"t make you wet.

So, if I want to make a difference, I have to teach you to listen/read in theta mode.

You"ll have a long road to hoe to be able to stay in that state, long enough, and consistently enough: you have all those years that you survived.

So the selfish gene, the pull of the homeostasis will be working against you.

But if you never start, you never reach.

I"ll make a video to help you find your tangerine spot, and to put your attention on it.

You"ll feel the buzz/pressure on that spot, so it"s easy to know you are connected.

The feeling lasts as long as you are there. I am writing this articles in theta mode... I live in theta mode. It is possible.

Once you can do it, it will be up to you to turn it on... Most of you will pick and choose. What chooses is the mind... And unfortunately the mind isn"t interested in you learning anything. Or doing anything new.

We shall see what you are made of. It"s the survival of the most adaptable.

PS: There is a speed reading method, called PhotoReading. It has a part where you enter theta state, and allow consciousness to do the reading. You don"t even see the page, you make your eyes fuzzy. And yet, when you test your knowledge, surprisingly you discover that you know that stuff... even though you didn"t actually read it. YOU. Consciousness did. Of course the you you refer to is your mind. That is what 99.99% of people do: they identify their self with their mind.

This is why humanity is stuck on a low vibrational level, a low consciousness where people fight, argue, resist, go to war, try to control and dominate, and feel horrible in the process.

What I do is attempting to get you out of your mind, so you can grow out of this misery.

PPS: Many people have discovered that in theta state you learn better. But in my direct experience, adding guiding audio meditation to your learning process, so you enter theta state is harmful: you train yourself to depend on the audio.

Also, thinking about theta waves as a closed eye meditation tool is like living life for the weekends, 90% misery 10% bliss, nothing in between.

Some gurus talk about meditative living, especially Zen. What they aren"t telling you is that meditative living happens in theta mode. You can, with enough practice, live in that mode. Chop wood, carry water.

Chopping wood and carrying water in beta mode is hell... boring, tedious, death warmed over.

Of course there needs to be a lot of unlearning. When things bother you, irritate you, threaten you, it is because on your level of consciousness, on your level of knowledge, the world is a frightening place.

In my programs you unlearn b.s. like that, false knowledge, that keeps you on constant alert. You learn new ways of looking at reality. And I also activate spiritual capacities: truth be told: without them nothing much will happen. Even if you manage to walk around in meditative state.

In my programs theta brain state is used to allow you to learn new things that will make a difference for you. So you can start growing, so you can start become a happier, more fulfilled person.

The goal of learning to enter and stay in theta brain state is so you can get wet from the lifegiving shower I am giving you. Finally.

Can you tell what size is your cone of vision? Look to what degree your life is fragmented...

Your vibration, your creativity, your truth value all depends on your cone of vision... But until you see that you have a narrow cone of vision, that you look at things with narrow cone of vision, or a narrow filter, you won"t want to make it wider.

Wide cone of vision means inclusive... narrow cone of vision is exclusive... exclusive of areas that you KNOW don"t matter, don"t belong, or you don"t like them. Exclusive because you KNOW the answer...

The most exciting insights first show up in the corner of your eyes... Which means they are literally outside of your cone of vision.

One way I see this is how attached you are to one area of life, or one way to do it, or one problem you have.

Go beyond where you normally stop... But where? How? Show me the path...

Prologue

I woke up disgruntled... almost ready to go into devastation (which is my "home page") but it all changed as I sat down and began to write. What was going to be a rant, became a celebration.

I guess I wasn"t stuck with or invested in resisting being someone who rants when I feel beaten, or slighted, or hurt... It seems that I accepted, embraced, and it got out of my face... All unconscious competence, by the way. I didn"t have to sit around and analyze it... it just happened. ...and I could look and see the whole picture... as much as I can see from it.

This is exactly what I teach in the Playground... this is the goal: unconscious competence in getting unstuck, and being able to see the whole reality, with all its beauty and all its ugliness.

The article:

Go beyond where you normally stop... But where? How? Show me the path...

What takes you beyond mediocre, what takes you beyond acceptable, is some energy that can only be activated if you are looking at reality, instead of what most people do: the reflection of it, the mirage of it, the image of it... the unreality created by the mind.

Even a little bit of reality, even a few percentage of your visual field freed up to see reality, can cause dramatic changes in the motive power of the spirit on your behavior.

We are halfway through the Playground, a year long program, and I can start seeing how the participants inner energy that makes them strive higher is becoming more active.

On one hand I could be bummed out at the notion how unambitious humanity as a whole is, how rarely anyone goes for excellence... and how most settle for good enough on a level of good that is not good at all...

How they use only their minds to have any pleasure, the imagination, eating the imaginary food, enjoying the imaginary sex, and reveling in the imaginary success.

And choosing to look at that would be really disempowering, thought of futility brings up thoughts of "why bother?"

And then again, I can really choose to use that reality of unambitious humanity to contrast, and make more obvious that MY STUDENTS are becoming something other than ordinary, through the relatively simple process of distinguishing reality from unreality.

Yeah, I can choose to look that way, and start feeling good and energized by the fact that what we do here actually works.

I am a Virgo, and typically I am only interested, as a Virgo, in what is NOT perfect, and take what works for granted. But that way of looking hasn"t always served me, and won"t serve me now.

Instead I can choose to celebrate what is being accomplished.

And that, I tell you, is miraculous. Not done yet, not fully blown new reality yet, but it is going, it is moving in that direction, and I am in awe.

I am going to take you inside a transformational teacher"s world...

You can also call me a spiritual teacher, but that is a misnomer... someone may think that there is already a path, and I am just a guide taking you on that path.

There is no path already. For hardly anything, but especially not for how to live a life that is worth living.

Here is an example:

I am an architect by training.
In my class there were 96 students. We graduated in 1971.
We all graduated
Out of the 96 three became architects, true architects. I wasn"t one of them, even though my diploma said: architect.

Why? What"s up with the other 93?

They became people who could do garden variety, ordinary, unelegant, so-so architecture. Nothing to write home about. Nothing to be proud of. Ordinary... acceptable but ugly, not fully functional. This is true to other professions.

I don"t have a medical doctor student, but I have accountants. They did schooling...
A real accountant has the beingness of an accountant: the heartbeat of an accountant, both a cause and a monitor of becoming financially successful for their client.

Maybe one or two in a hundred... maybe not even that. The rest are doing accounting, half-heartedly, just because one must make a living.

When I was graduating from high school, 1966, there was only one thing I was passionate about: film making... But there was no film making school...

  • I had an offer from Hungarian television to do host a regular weekly show. I was a singer and guitarist (classical).

  • I was accepted to be trained as a classical guitar student at the Academy of Music, much like Juillard in New York.

  • and I was accepted to be trained to be an architect at Budapest Technical University.

It was clear to me that I didn"t have enough drive in either of those fields. I was fascinated with movies, especially wanting to talk and write about them... the invisible parts. The subtle... the non-obvious.

I liked to write, and I liked to talk.

I chose architecture, and in that I wasn"t ever happy: no amount of work would have made me a real architect: I didn"t have it, the spark. No language is needed to be an architect.

There was absolutely no set path to writing and talking for the next 70 years... and become the best at it.

I had fifteen minutes, maybe an hour worth of knowledge... back in 1966, not quite enough for a lifetime.

I didn"t know that...

I fancied myself amazing, and I was encouraged by my fans... yes, I had fans, for the depth of my thoughts... but my thoughts were only knee-deep... you can"t even swim in that...

It took me another 50 years, adventures, heartaches, loves and breakups, humiliation, another degree and a third "almost degree". Travels. Hurts. Poverty. Successes, hospitalizations, illnesses, homelessness... to go deep enough to have something to swim in and make my life"s work.

There is no path already. In my informed opinion, no one has done enough work, no one has gone far enough, to claim that the path they took will work for everyone...

Some have gone to some length, but could not teach it... Like

  • Gurdieff... went and penetrated a possible path, but his truth value was only 10%... not a path.

  • Werner Erhard: same numbers, same assessment: 10%. Not a path.

  • Kabbalah Centre: same 10%

  • Scientology... ditto

The path already suggested is either unwalkable... or not a path at all.

The path delineated by the Playground program: truth value, path value: 60%.

Why?

Because it is simple, and because it gets to the heart of the matter... and because it is based in a real principle of Life: the Anna Karenina Principle, the principle, what the New Testament calls the strait and narrow.
That calls for examining the truth/path value of the Bible... 7%. Why so low?

  • Because giving lip service to the strait and narrow doesn"t take people there...

  • Because condemning what is not on the path of strait and narrow, and the person who is there, is highly ineffective, in fact counterproductive. Causes people to lie, to pretend, to turn their faces to the light so they don"t have to look at their own darkness. Simple, obvious, and yet invisible.

I am working on formulating the Playground as a self-study course. Muscle test says it is impossible, but worth doing it. We shall see... so far I have gotten immense value on catching the uncatchable ball...

What is impossible with a self study program is to cause transformation, a new view of the world and a new view of the self, through passive learning.

It is like teaching to play championship basketball to people who have never played basketball, through talking or even videos...

So practicing on the court of life is mandatory.

I have taught the principles of the Playground many times. The first Playground, back in 1988 was an amazing success. Then came the unsuccessful ones... until this current one, where I introduced the partner system.

What made the first Playground successful, was the weekly discussion, we met in someone"s living room, the weekly sharing, the weekly confrontation of reality vs unreality.

Of course the course was local back in 1988... and it is anything but local today... It"s taken me this long (30 years) to see a way to reproduce the environment of growth... the partner method. The method of synergy, the method of "your insight can become my insight".

Interestingly, it seems that the harder someone"s soul correction is, the more energy they get from doing this work... Maybe because their inner incoherence, their inner inauthenticity creates enough tension to fuel the "fight for freedom".

And the newest wrinkle, the newest tool is the 20-day skill learning challenge... also part of the Playground now.

Why? The 20 day skill learning challenge is another reality-based "knock you awake" process, that helps you get out of your self-induced coma, sleepwalking, delusional state into reality, reality that can become glorious and... drumroll... real. True.

Without this new element most people are still in the "talking a good talk, walking a puny path" stage, or thereabout.

The most important elements of the Playground

  1. distinguish

  2. confront

  3. embrace

  4. allow consciousness (your higher self? the spirit? no idea yet...) to guide you.

Will everyone go through all the phases? I have no idea... But however far you get on the path, your life will become that much more enjoyable, and you"ll become that much more effective at it, especially with other people.

Because, as Freud said in Civilization and its Discontents: what causes the most pain and unhappiness is "other people"... so even just increasing your effectiveness there by 10-20% can result in a doubling, tripling of your happiness...

My ambition is to cause 100%.

Of course, we have already lost the two "Sexual Energy" people from the course... they got personally offended when we revealed their "Silver Bullet" of wanting to take and take and take...

The interesting thing was the reaction, by the way. Humans are takers, inherently. Even the do-gooders are takers. They give begrudgingly, with a hidden agenda, not generously.

Being called a taker doesn"t automatically create a reaction like that...

It is not what happens to you, it is not the name you are called that makes you miserable, it is what YOU say about it.

Obviously, the Sexual Energy people said something that made them never want to talk to me again. I am sad about it, because they are cutting their nose in spite of their face... and to the Forget Thyself person, me, this doesn"t make sense.

So we are at 80% now (10 people started in the current Playground).

Two people are showing signs of wanting to disappear right now. If they do, that will bring it down to 60%.

Will I do anything to "rescue" those people? Not a thing. Rescuing people is a bad habit, they are the ones who will bite the hand that feeds them. My "it will fall down by itself" joke spells out the rule of conduct here.

And the 60% will go all the way... Embrace is the hardest step... and not everyone has gotten there yet.

The transformation process is best illustrated, or likened to, the worm and the butterfly.

In the famous story where the emperor wants to help the worm in the cocoon by cutting the cocoon open (so that the emperor can go to bed, by the way!!!) resulted in no butterfly, but a really fat thing that could not fly.

No struggle, no pain, no effort will result in no transformation. No flying. No butterfly.

The biggest challenge in the partners program is to refrain from teaching and telling, and helping the other person... That is much like trying to cut their cocoon open... wanting to be done with it: "why can"t they be like you, magnificent, smart, diligent... " whatever you say about yourself... and be where YOU are... Desire to receive for the self alone... damn the other person and their process... You see the challenge, don"t you?

The most loving behavior (did I say loving?) is to let them struggle, and be where they are. Let them go through what they have to go through, without your help.

The more superior one partner feels, the less they will allow the other to struggle, and the more justified they will feel to think that they are doing the work, while the other isn"t.

As you can see, this program is not a walk in the park. No one can do your work for you without robbing you from YOUR results.

Brilliant... life is like this.

If you look at how parenting is in the world: you can see that the more parents do for their children the less the next generation will be able to do their work for themselves, the less the next generation will be able to fly.

It takes tremendous effort, tremendous self-discipline to allow your child to fall, hurt themselves, pick themselves up, and develop into a person.

It is harder, and requires more love from the parent, than doing for the child, giving to the child, protecting the child from life.

And, not surprisingly, the same effort, self-discipline, and real love is required in the partners program... and "mothers" find it especially difficult. How you do anything is how you do everything... you want to rob your partner of their transformation and growth the exact same way as you do with your child.

I am there, of course, to provide correction... I listen and comment on every partner call, even though it is time consuming to listening to every call.

But without correction you will stray from the strait and narrow, guaranteed.

So as I am formulating the "packaged" version of the Playground, as my next project, I am really clear that without partner calls, feedback on the partner calls, the continuous nudges back to the path of the strait and narrow, the work won"t get done...

And yet, I am sure, many more people will want to buy the packaged course than are willing to partake in partner calls, and especially the live course. ((Many people listen to my podcasts, 99% of them never come to a live call, for example))

Remember the article where I talk about the difference between information and transformation?

Not everyone wants transformation... and I have to be willing to provide people with what they want. Information you want? You got it... here you go. Much cheaper than transformation.

In one of my programs, the Effortless Abundance, you can get the information for seven dollars. You can add to it the process, for another $35. And you can go all the way to transformation by buying and doing a meditation for another $25.

Hundreds bought the information. Very few have gone all the way...

And that is how humanity is: wants to know, doesn"t want to do.

Fine by me.

PS: I have been contemplating to only accept new people in the new Playground courses who will likely stay. But as you can see, there is tremendous value in seeing why and how people quit, how people stop in their track, and how to handle loss, how to have the self-discipline to refrain from rescuing them, both from me and their partner.

So I am ready for another Playground, one participant has already registered, and we need, ideally three more to form a small group.

Three good men... or bad men... Are you one of them?

Indigo, shmindigo... about indigo children and humanity"s obsession of a "higher power" and a universe that makes sense

indigo childI think that most, or at least, many children are born with a much higher potential than what they will actually live out.

It"s been that way from the beginning of time. Some of these children, like myself, are allowed to grow like a weed. Attention, the attention of the lesser ability adults that try to pass on their world view destroys the potential of these children.

  • It is said that we live in special times.

  • That nowadays more children than ever before are born with some additional strands of DNA...

  • That children retain their ability to see the invisible, hear the invisible, feel the invisible.

I don"t think this is the case. I think that in every age people were born closer to what could be considered "the next evolution" but got reduced back to "normal" by their loving parents, by their caring teachers, or by a hostile society that doesn"t tolerate being different.

Of course this day and age, where humanity has no power, no purpose, no individuality, we are trying to make ourselves more special by claiming that our children are special... after all they are OUR children.

A few generations ago being "weird" wasn"t considered special... maybe special needs children... i.e. imbecile, or insane... however they were labeled.

My parents never thought I would amount to anything. I was a handful, unmanageable, disrespectful, learning disabled on one hand, ingenious on the other.

Not the ideal child to have.

I got lucky, and they left me grow like weed... pruned here and there, but not cultivated.

Your cultivation of your children is what robs them of their intelligence, them being in touch with who they are.

Cultivation and protection, keeping them safe and deadened.

Here is a clip from Esther Hicks... surprisingly level-headed, truth value of 3%m 97% hogwash...  still is quite high for Esther Hicks.

Everyone thinks they are smarter than you... but why? And how can you avoid that trap so you can start having some results in your life?

I came to my computer this morning not having an idea what article to write.

So I started to watch a few videos on youtube I lined up, after I saw that one of my students learned "precession" from one of the videos I published, while it went way over my head.

Time to recap...

So I watched the video, and muscle tested. It tested "not true" for me. One of my favorite people, (an evolutionary event in humanity"s history, according to Buckminster Fuller...) Marshall Thurber. Zero truth value. Wow... let me watch a few more Marshall Thurber videos...

So I did. It"s about 8 am now, and I have been at it for almost three hours.

I learned a lot.

Here are some of the things I learned:
  • 1. Marshall Thurber has no problem admitting that he didn"t understand a bunch of things he learned from Buckminster Fuller.

  • 2. I learned that if you don"t have a theory, or you have a theory that doesn"t work, they your actions, maybe even your whole life, will be based on a theory that is not true.

A true theory, when tested, always proves itself. Actions, projects based on that theory will work.

But theory is in the invisible realm of reality. It is underneath the water line of the iceberg.

I do all my teaching to make the invisible visible. All of it.

And I have theories... and most of them work. I find out real fast what works and what doesn"t work.

A true theory works as reliably as gravity...

But there are many elements of the invisible, that unless you make them visible, you"ll muck up everything...

So thinking that one idea is going to take you to where you want to go, you have a theory that is not true.

It takes the whole area of invisible made visible, that you start seeing what are the theories you base your life on.

Truth value...

A 30-year old video/audio of Marshall Thurber has a 50% truth value, and 5-6-7 theories or principles in it. All the principles are true and tried. What makes it only 50% truth value is what isn"t said in the video.
  • find the best and learn from them

  • leverage

  • adding value

  • integrity

  • cohesion

  • efficiency (80/20 or sand, pebble, and rock)

  • and more

The video is dense... You need to listen to it many times... and even then you"ll either get the stuff or you won"t. (here is the audio version of that same video to make it portable)
  • Your current world view will not allow you to hear it.

  • Your incessant chatter that says: I know, or this is not true... or whatever the voices say, will not allow you to hear it.

  • Your intellectual/mental state... if you are dehydrated, or if you are in a hurry, or you force understanding, you won"t get it.

  • or you may get stuck at the beginning... or you may be stuck in a desire trap and will be only able to hear what matches your fantasy: effortless, or some other b.s.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m9QipMoRYgM

Back to the question in the title: seeing yourself, thinking yourself smarter than the next guy, is a cognitive bias.

Very damaging, because it is in the invisible, and you don"t know about it. ((Time for a little rant here: five millions of pages talk about Ayn Rand. Most of them attack her theories... 10% of Ayn Rand fans understand what she is saying. None of those, literally not even one, lives based on any of those theories. Rant finished.

I am trying to teach my people one theory: A is A... It is not even Ayn Rand, it is Aristotle... and it"s been proven for 2400 years to be accurate, predictable, every time, like gravity. It is hard going. It is in the invisible that every A is "not A" for you, regardless how many times you parrot: A is A. Not A can be A+ or A-, or simply "not A". As long as you cannot get that distinction, your comprehension, your clarity will be foggy and your results sporadic at best.

Have you tried my "locate your feet" exercise yet? It is very revealing... most people can"t find their feet, and even for me it takes long minutes to find my feet.))

When you can make this part of the invisible visible, you suddenly have access to humility, which is the only state where you can learn anything at all.

Truth be told, you rarely if ever see what it takes to be smart. Thousands of tiny and big things below the water"s surface are completely hidden from your view...

I have students and clients who think they are smarter than me.

How do I know? They translate everything I say to their way... And because their way is based on principles and theories that are not true (that is why they sought my help!) their "translation" of what I say cannot be true.

The theories and principles you base your life on are invisible to you... they are like the air you breathe. An of-course it"s true...

But if and when you look at your vibrational number, you suddenly are confronted with the truth value of your theories you base your life on.

Low truth value.

Your life cannot work, because the theories you base it on are wrong.

Anything you do is based on a theory or many. The success of any action, therefore, will depend more on the truth value of the theories than your actions.

Of course changing hundreds of theories in your "knowledge base" is a lot of work... and you are in a hurry...

And like most people, you are in a hurry to your demise...

My methodology is teaching combined with tiny nudges.

The strait and narrow... the accurate reality, where you produce results, where you are happy, healthy, and wealthy, is really narrow...

When I nudge you, I nudge you off your untrue theories that are off or way-off the strait and narrow.

I nudge you towards Life...

So one could say that I am a true LIFE coach...

And I do this in the unfriendly, unfavorable atmosphere where you fancy yourself smarter than me. Every moment. And you resist everything I say. And yet expect me to take you to the Promised Land.

Talk about co-creation... not.

My most successful student has been with me for five years. He went from unbearable arrogant, to becoming a sponge. Humility of 1% to Humility of 50%. Not just with me... everywhere.

His cell hydration is 60%, his health number is 70%.

When you can learn, you can also re-learn... which is what you need to do. Re-learn.

Because what you know is really not working. More than that: it cannot work, because it is a bunch of theories that don"t work.

This is what T. Harv Eker meant when he said: when something isn"t working, there is something you don"t know...

He could have made it even better by saying:

when something isn"t working, it is probably based on inaccurate theories.

And have you noticed that you never consider that? Have you noticed that you are flocking to learn more and more about something that has never been proven? Or do the same thing over and over again, expecting a different results?

Hey, isn"t it time you asked me to make the invisible (to you) visible, so you can make better decisions?

Where did evolution take a wrong turn? Can we go back and take the right turn?

Lots of questions are coming up... Is it possible to be happy, to have ikigai, purpose, and joy if you live in your imagination?

What is the main difference between animals and homo sapiens?

The only differences I can see are

1. homo sapiens (modern humans) live in the mind... thinking it"s reality
2. homo sapiens have conscience
3. homo sapiens live like anything different from what they want is wrong.
4. homo sapiens have usury relationships, win-lose, zero sum.

I have written a lot of articles about living in the mind, and have courses to help you spend at least some of your time outside of the mind that is like a cave...

But I haven"t written about conscience. ((conscience: an inner feeling or voice viewed as acting as a guide to the rightness or wrongness of one"s behavior.))

Conscience, in Hebrew, is the same word as the name for a compass that shows true North.

And that is what conscience is supposed to do: point to a way of behavior that is befitting for a human: the crown achievement of evolution.

But at some point a fly fell into this soup... and conscience has devolved into a punishing device.

Conscience is why nothing works without integrity... your will punish yourself, one way or another.

I have no claims to know how exactly evolution works, I can only make deductions from what is visible and what is not readily visible, but I can get to a lot of truth through muscle testing.

OK... here you go. I"ll tell you what is Tree of Knowledge and what is Tree of life...

It starts with knowledge from Kabbalah: Tree of Knowledge. Kabbalah says, or at least my Kabbalah teacher said: Life wants more life. The truth value of this statement is 100%... Life wants more life. ((This doesn"t mean what I see people want: getting more out of life... The problem is the word "getting". It is an entitled saying. A truth value 100% saying is: You earn more life by putting more into life, investing more into life...  I can feel you cringing. lol))

Life wants more life

And the mechanism of evolution, at least the instigator of evolution, the Selfish Gene, comes from books, Tree of Knowledge.

The idea of protein molecules in the primordial sea, it organizing, and then combining itself with self-replicating elements of life is only 10% truth value.

That there is such a thing as the Selfish Gene, is also 10% truth value.

But these are the ideas everyone who considers evolution a valid model for life have accepted as true, more or less.

I am not a creationist, and creationist ideas have less than 1% truth value... and yet.

There is intelligence to the "design" of life. Innate intelligence. And foresight.

Life doesn"t seem to be reactive. It seems to think ahead, plan ahead. You can see that in humans: they have unexpressed capacities, and the hidden compass: conscience. Unused potentials.

The current direction the human race has chosen to ignore the capacities, and use conscience more like a stick than a carrot. Ass backward...

It is dangerous to say that there is an intelligent design, because both intelligence and design has been designated as conscious acts by sentient beings, according to the current knowledge of humans.

So the moment I say: intelligent design, or Original Design, people hear that I am saying: there is a god, or there was a god... which is not what I am saying.

Life itself is intelligent, and if it is true that Life wants more life, then Life has designed humans to go in certain ways... and then humans made a wrong turn, by themselves or by deceit... and now human life is against Life.

My personal opinion that the peaceful Neanderthals would have been the path towards becoming a human being... but the predatory "modern humans" killed the Neanderthals off.. (this paragraph is a 70% truth value... wowze! lol)

In the Original Design you were going to be guided by curiosity, the desire to fully use your capacities, and conscience.

The kind of beings that populate a society where people get along, and where no one uses another, no one exploits another, no one makes money destroying the planet...
Obviously this is not the reality we live in... because we are not living by the Original Design.

We have made a wrong turn.

You cannot get back to the right path from where you are. It"s like telling a mature tree to grow oranges instead of apples... it"s not going to work.

The question is: can you get back to the point where your species made a wrong turn. And truthfully, this is what my "Great Adventure" is about, to see: so Source can see too.

So far it seems that some people can... I could, for example.

The issues are simple but hard. And it"s hard for me to create practices to actually cause it.

Understanding is the enemy. Understanding is a "mind" thing: you drag what you hear into the cave, and digest it there... but it becomes part of the culture we want to eliminate. So understanding is out.

It needs to be experiential... and become muscle memory. Instinctual. Automatic. Not needing choice... the only choice.

Everyone and everything is against you, discouraging you from going back so you can start on the right path...

Why? It makes them feel less than you. Inferior to you. So they force you to stay in the chicken coop.

Miserable, unable to have a silent mind, unable to be present to reality, unable to see that there is nothing wrong... ever.

Everyone has a different main sticky point they need to let go of. The Soul Correction is supposed to show what it is.

For example, for me it was taking myself out of the picture. Looking at the world as it is without me. Seeing that I matter to me, I may matter to a few people, but I really don"t matter as much as I imagined I should.

I needed to make it instinctual that life is not about being smarter than others, knowing more than others, being more useful than others. In business these things may matter, but in life you need to interact with life, with life"s measures, and become the best and the most you can become with what you have. The being better than the next person is puny... that you are better of going for the big game: life.

Once I started to let go of that: life started to support me. Even with life"s support it"s taken me decades to be where I am today.

One of the issues people with a similar soul correction have is their hero complex and other delusional mind-constructs that make remaining the way you are more attractive than going back so you can get to a more evolved version of yourself.

Because letting go of the delusion takes you to being "nothing special". And one of the desires human have is to be special. More special than the other person!

As long as you are hooked on being special you are as ordinary as it comes. It is the most ordinary thing to want to be special. Being treated special. Being thought of as special.

Being ordinary is calm, collected, and a silent mind.

The busy mind asks: Am I special enough yet?

Someone who has the courage to be ordinary isn"t asking that question. They use their precious glycogen (or whatever chemical it is that you need to operate your brain and create, solve big issues). Someone with the courage to be ordinary will use their precious glycogen where it produces results, where it is worth spending it.

Smarter people are only smarter because they don"t fritter their glycogen on puny worries, on stuff that doesn"t matter, on feeling special or what other people think of them.

The more you worry about what doesn"t matter, what won"t matter, the less you"ll have, and the less you"ll accomplish in life.

Even if at some time earlier you got to a place... you can change any time.

In either direction.

I have seen people getting into "relationship" age, and spend all their glycogen on worrying about relationships. Or children. Or their weight. Or what they have. Or some other mundane b.s. not worth worrying about.

The more you surround yourself with people the less energy you"ll have for anything that needs energy. People will suck you dry.

I am not talking about some special partnership type relationships... I am talking about most relationships.

I am including spouses, I am including children, parents. They want to feed on you. Really.

If you want to accomplish anything in life, be alone, or be with a partner. A partner who also wants to accomplish something. So they won"t suck you dry and you won"t suck them dry.

A special friend, an accountability partner, a special coach or mentor.

Obviously you cannot learn much from my articles. Articles teach "mind-learning", understanding, and keep you in the mind.

I use coaching, workshops, courses to move you from one path to another.

Your Starting Point Measurements show you where you are most off, what are your sticky points, where you can most effectively unstuck yourself.

My coaching program is always open to people who show promise.

I also have an almost free workshop series scheduled to start on June 23. On falling in love with yourself... and its connection to Conscience and integrity.

In these workshops I"ll help you start your list of where you feel guilty, where your conscience tells you you are "wrong". And I will give participants an opportunity to sign up to use me to support them, ongoingly, so they can succeed.

Many of the crucial behaviors that robbed me of my self-love were also invisible to me. And I was lucky: I had some credible people point them out to me. (I have written about those: lying and gossiping were my invisible to me behaviors.)

My hunch is: you need support. Because left to your own devices you created the life you have... and will continue doing the same thing the same way... and when you read this article again in a year or two, you"ll realize that you could have gotten ahead but you didn"t. You remained the same: not loving yourself, not loving your life.

OK, here you go:

The first workshop will be on Saturday, June 23, at 4 pm. That is 10 pm in Europe, and 6 am on Sunday in Australia

Pay $1 through this link. If you haven"t gotten your Starting Point Measurements, then you"ll have a chance to get that on the payment page.

Another thing, a training course, trains you capacities to use your attention at will, and to move out of the mind. I call the first course the Reading Course, because we"ll use reading to distinguish and make the use of attention instinctual.

The second course, the Sleep Course will go one step further, and use falling asleep as a tool to get you out of the mind.

How accurate is your knowledge? What you read, see, hear, and say...

Most everything you read on the internet, in books, on youtube, is b.s. Not true... a lie, or not the whole truth.

What do I mean by b.s.? I simply mean that they have a low truth value.

They can be a lie... misdirection, misleading, made up... etc. Not necessarily with a malicious intent... the speaker/writer is looking to say what they say in the mind, in memes, in books, in other people speaking, not in reality.

Unless it is your truth, experienced yourself, it is not truth. Truth repeated is a lie... Talking about flying isn"t flying. Talking about sex isn"t sex. Talking about integrity isn"t integrity.

1. My latest discovery of B.S. is the sway technique many people teach to find truth.

  • The mind says, common sense says: if you lean AWAY from the object, then the answer is no. Just the opposite is true.

  • Same thing about gut feelings: your gut does nothing with a lie, but signals (discomfort!) with a yes. Flies in the face of the mind, doesn"t it?

  • They say: muscle test, and they say: your body answers. But your body has been duped. Your body craves sugar that kills it. Your body is not innocent... it wants what it"s been having. It is under the tyranny of the mind.

So what is answering your questions when you muscle test?

What answers the questions must be outside of the sphere of power of the mind, and thus memes, and Dark Side, and social media.
  • It isn"t your soul: it is inside, squashed... :-(.

  • It isn"t your Self... it is largely non-existent. You have an inflated delusional self, your precious "I"... but no Self, or not really.

  • Is your attention outside? yes

  • Is your consciousness/Witness outside? yes.

My hunch is that it"s the Consciousness/Witness that answers the questions... but for that you need to be aligned to All-Knowledge, or at the minimum to Consciousness.

I have been experimenting, and when you press your tongue against the roof of your mouth, this connection automatically gets established. If and when you speak... no connection... inaccurate results.

2. Everyone talks about health, nutrition, sugar, global warming,

but I have, thus far, read in one article one of the most harmful aspects of increasing CO2 in the atmosphere: plants use CO2 like we use Oxygen. And with the increased amount CO2 the plants grow faster, get less nutrients from the soil, they are sweeter.

Result: your animals, yourself get sweeter, and you get less nutrients in your food.

10-20 years ago it was impossible to get all your nutrients from food. Now it is nearly so, that none of your nutrients come from food... it"s not there.

At the same time it"s nearly impossible to avoid sugar: everything is sweet... I have started to experience hypoglycemia after I ate one pepper. 10 grams of sugar. In one pepper.

For someone with sugar metabolism issues, that is a fast way to get into the sugar yo-yo again.

3. Videos on youtube, videos that expose the evil conspiracy against you and your health abound.

But their truth value is low. here is one I just listened to. It"s truth value is 10%. Why? because of narrow cone of vision. Not necessarily the speaker"s, but his sources.

Narrow cone of vision is the middle name of every American... Seeing causation where there is a correlation, and the real cause is outside of that cone of vision.

Specifically here, for this video: If most of our Calcium overload is from milk... wouldn"t it be useful to pull in milk into the picture? But no, narrow cone of vision is maybe the middle name of Human (narrow cone of vision) Sapiens.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CYuMXm-Sui0

4. Memes... I am running into these memes that attribute b.s. to people who are credible... and if they actually said that, it must be true.

First off: truth repeated is a lie. This applies to anything you repeat. The bible. The Torah. Whatever someone said or wrote... they don"t become Tree of Knowledge, aka truth unless it is your personal experience.

That is, largely, about 1% of the things you say. But that means that the 99% of what you say is utter lie, untruth, partial truth, or b.s.

And you are too lazy or too dumb to know.

That, compared to 7% of truth value, or books, for example, makes the 7% a whole lot. But it isn"t.

Dr. Joel Wallach"s stuff (not the multilevel marketing stuff, the theory) has 30% truth value. Why? Because he personally cut open thousands of dead animals, so it"s his personal and somewhat accurate observation.

While the famous and money grabbing health gurus,
  • Dr. Eric Berg (truth value: 5%),

  • Dr. Oz (truth value: 10%),

  • Dr. Mercola (truth value: 10%),

  • Dr. Bradley Nelson (truth value: 5%),

  • Dr. Darren Weissman (truth value: 3%),

  • Dr. Daniel Amen (truth value: 10%),

  • Dr. Axe (truth value: 10%).

Being an influencer is the dream of all the money hungry people.

Because when you hear something of the mouth of an influencer, it strikes you as the truth. Why? Because of a cognitive bias, a cognitive shortcut that allows you to be mentally slothful: if he said it it must be true... but you see that swaying the unsuspecting, mentally slothful crowds is relatively easy... and then they can tell you everything they want. Because you"ll buy. You"ll swallow. You"ll take it for truth what they say.
Magnesium

A week ago I started an experiment. My premise was: if Magnesium softens the muscles... would taking more of it help my sore rock hard calves to become soft again so I can walk with less pain?

I have been taking a whole lot more Magnesium. And I found out that I didn"t know much about Magnesium, and that has hurt my health. The experiment is not over, I"ll run it at least three weeks: too early to tell.

But watching the videos on youtube I saw that almost every topic has a proponent who uses the topic as their one tool... a fit all hammer... and everything looks to them like a nail.

And to boot, even what they say about their "topic" is low truth value.

For example all fancy shmancy formats of Magnesium test "no" for me. I have found that clients I have tested, myself included, respond "yes" to Magnesium Oxide... and "no" to all the citrates, and gluconates, and other fancy formulation.

I friend who had horrible arch pain when he walked was taking 400 mg of Magnesium in Magnesium Citrate form. I gave him my own Magnesium Oxide bottle, and after two weeks he has spring in his steps, and a smile on his face.

What actually got softer? Why he hurts less? I don"t know. I only know that he is. If I made up reasons, that would be lies... because I don"t know. I will not specialize in Magnesium... lol.
And I am not an authority... thank god.

I muscle test everything. As soon as I say it. About 20% of my hunches, my theories are b.s. says Source. So I immediately inform the person I talk to is that what I said wasn"t true....

When you say things that are not true because they are not true, or by virtue of them being Tree of Knowledge... your integrity suffers.

And without integrity nothing works. NOTHING.

It is near impossible which of the Starting Point Measurements is the most important number... that if you could change it your life would start to work for you, not against you.

But integrity is definitely up there... because without integrity nothing works.

The higher your meme/Tree of Knowledge score, the lower your integrity. The higher your desire number, the lower your integrity. The higher your "about you" number, the lower your integrity. The higher your "inauthenticity" number, the lower your integrity.

And if you just stopped spouting things you heard, your integrity number would start growing. Really.

And your life would start working.

Rob Brezsny interprets the invisible and answers attacks

I am sharing today"s Rob Brezsny newsletter, because he answers a lot of question for me, about my work as well.

For example, why would soul correction be calculated from your date of birth... WTF, right? But it is very accurate, I must tell you. Even though I discover and am shown aspects of a soul correction, once I see the new aspect, I can look and it fits all people with the same correction like a glove.

I am also starting to see more clearly some low vibration aspects of different systems of thought.

For example: any system of thought that subscribes to god, gods, angels, or in fact any entities, loses truth value and vibration to the degree that the system depends on that idea, on those ideas.

The idea for a need for a supernatural being, or two or many shows a low grasp on reality, and that is low vibration.

The vibration, could be said, is a number that shows the accuracy of your world view.

And another aspect of a low vibration is denying anything that is not visible, not measurable, or doesn"t make sense to the man sitting in Plato"s Cave, the mind.

The invisible doesn"t cast a shadow, but that doesn"t mean it doesn"t exist, it doesn"t mean it is not influencing you or life.

My whole work is flowing from the invisible. And in that regard, Rob Brezsny and I are kindred spirits.

QUESTION. How can an intelligent person possibly believe astrology has any merit?

ROB"S BREZSNY"S ANSWER. Many of the debunkers ((debunk:expose the falseness or hollowness of (a myth, idea, or belief) )) who try to discredit astrology have done no research on the subject. They haven"t read smart astrological philosophers like Dane Rudhyar, don"t know that seminal astronomers Johannes Kepler and Galileo were skilled astrologers, and aren"t aware that eminent psychologist C.G. Jung cast horoscopes and believed that "astrology represents the summation of all the psychological knowledge of antiquity."

The closest approach the fraudulent "skeptics" usually make to the ancient art is to glance at a random horoscope column in a newspaper or on a website. To match their carelessness, I might make a drive-by of a strip mall and declare that the profession of architecture is shallow and debased.

That"s one reason why these ill-informed "skeptics" spread so many ignorant lies. For instance, they say that astrologers think the stars and planets emit invisible beams that affect people"s lives. The truth is, many Western astrologers don"t believe any such thing. (You can read more comments about this below.)

+

QUESTION. Because you pack your column with doses of wry humor and wild imagery, some people think you don"t take astrology seriously.

ROB"S BREZSNY"S ANSWER. On the contrary, I think my humor and imagery, along with my passion for crafting cliché-free language, demonstrate how much respect I have for astrology. With the vigor I apply to writing my oracles, I feel I"m alerting people to the possibility that astrology may have more credibility than both its sloppy practitioners and careless debunkers have afforded it.

+

[caption id="attachment_43216" align="alignleft" width="300"] Horoscope[/caption]

QUESTION. You have said in the past that you believe in astrology "about 80 percent." What"s up with the other 20 percent?

ROB"S BREZSNY"S ANSWER. I use the same 80-20 approach with every belief system I love and benefit from: Qabala, science, paganism, transpersonal psychology, postmodern rationalism, feminism, and others. I take what"s useful from each, but am not so deluded as to think that any single system is the holy grail the physicists call the "Theory of Everything." Unconditional, unskeptical faith is the path of the fanatic and fundamentalist, and I aspire to be a rowdy philosophical anarchist, aflame with objectivity and committed to the truth that the truth is always mutating.

+

QUESTION. But don"t you risk playing the same role the lazy astrologers do: enticing people to take on a superstitious approach to life and seducing them into believing their fate is determined by supernatural forces beyond the influence of their willpower?

ROB"S BREZSNY"S ANSWER. I call what I do predicting the present, not forecasting the future. My goal is to awaken my readers to the hidden agendas, unconscious forces, and long-term cycles at work in their lives so that they can respond to the totality of what"s happening instead of to mere appearances. I want to be a friendly shocker who helps unleash their imaginations, giving them the power to create their destinies with the same liberated fertility that great artists summon to forge their masterpieces.

+

QUESTION. How do you write your column? Do you use actual astrological data, or just go into a trance and let your imagination run wild?

ROB"S BREZSNY"S ANSWER. I draw up a weekly chart for the sun, moon, and major aspects of each sign. It"s the framework within which I improvise. The artistic part of the work is harder to pin down. One of my guiding principles, though, is to treat each sign"s horoscope as a personal love letter—to speak as intimately about the mysteries of the moment as if I were addressing a close friend.

Where do my inspirations come from? Dreams, letters from readers, overheard conversations, meditation, lots of reading in a wide variety of texts both sacred and profane, and the intensive cultivation of my own receptivity.

I also rely on fact-finding missions I call whirlygigs. During these, I steep myself with the intention of attracting lessons I don"t know I need, then meander the streets at random, going places I"ve never been and striking up conversations with strangers with whom I apparently have nothing in common.

+

QUESTION: Many modern skeptics/scientists" assumption imagine that astrology is based on the belief that the gravity or movements of the planetary bodies themselves is what influences us. Is that a misconception?

ROB"S BREZSNY"S ANSWER. Yes. It"s another case of scientists not acting like scientists -- not bothering to research the subject they speak about authoritatively.

In his book *Cosmos and Psyche*, Richard Tarnas says the planets don"t emit invisible forces that shape our destinies as if we were puppets. Rather, they are symbols of the unfolding evolutionary pattern. Just as clocks tell time but don"t create it, the heavenly bodies show us the big picture but don"t cause it.

Quoting Greek philosopher Plotinus, Tarnas writes, "The stars are like letters that inscribe themselves at every moment in the sky. Everything in the world is full of signs. All events are coordinated. All things depend on each other. Everything breathes together."

So it"s not just the distant globes whose movements and relationships serve as divinatory clues. If you"re sufficiently attuned to the gestalt of creation and pay close enough attention to its unfolding details, you can read the current mood of the universe in the arrangement of red onions in the grocery store bin or the fluttering of sunlight and shadow on the mimosa tree or the scatter of soap suds in your sink after you"ve finished washing the dishes.

+

QUESTION. You confuse me in the way that you praise rational thought and the scientific method, yet reserve the right to believe in astrology, angels, miracles, and other woo-woo.

ROB"S BREZSNY"S ANSWER. Thousands of amazing, inexplicable, and even supernatural events occur every day. And yet most are unreported by the media. The few that are cited are ridiculed. Why?

Here"s one possible reason: The people most likely to believe in wonders and marvels are superstitious, uneducated, and prone to having a blind, literalist faith in their religions" myths. Those who are least likely to believe in wonders and marvels are skilled at analytical thought, well-educated, and yet prone to having a blind, literalist faith in the ideology of materialism, which dogmatically asserts that the universe consists entirely of things that can be perceived by the five human senses or detected by instruments that scientists have thus far invented.

The media is largely composed of people from the second group. It"s virtually impossible for them to admit to the possibility of events that elude the rational mind"s explanations, let alone experience them. If anyone from this group manages to escape peer pressure and cultivate a receptivity to the miraculous, it"s because they have successfully fought against being demoralized by the unsophisticated way wonders and marvels are framed by the first group.

I try to be immune to the double-barreled ignorance. When I behold astonishing synchronicities and numinous breakthroughs that seem to violate natural law, I"m willing to consider the possibility that my understanding of natural law is too narrow. And yet I also refrain from lapsing into irrational gullibility; I actively seek mundane explanations for apparent miracles.

+

QUESTION. Can you sum up your approach to seeing the world?

ROB"S BREZSNY"S ANSWER. My outlook combines the rigorous objectivity of a scientist, the "beginner"s mind" of Zen Buddhism, and the compassionate friendliness of the Dalai Lama. I blend a scrupulously dispassionate curiosity with a skepticism driven by expansiveness, not spleen.

To pull this off, I have to be willing to regularly suspend my theories about the way the world works. I accept with good humor the possibility that what I"ve learned in the past may not be a reliable guide to understanding the fresh phenomenon that"s right in front of me. I"m suspicious of my biases, even the rational and benevolent ones. I open my heart as I strip away the interpretations that my emotions might be inclined to impose.

"Before we can receive the unbiased truth about anything," wrote my teacher Ann Davies, "we have to be ready to ignore what we would like to be true."

At the same time, I don"t want to turn into a hard-ass, poker-faced robot. I keep my feelings moist and receptive. I remember my natural affection for all of creation. I enjoy the power of tender sympathy as it drives me to probe for the unimaginable revelations of every new moment. "Before we can receive the entire truth about anything," said Ann Davies, "we have to love it."

INTERVIEWER: Can you provide a 25-words-or-less summary of what "Free Will Astrology" is not?

ROB"S BREZSNY"S ANSWER. My Free Will Astrology horoscopes are not rooted in or justified by any belief system, doctrine, fairy tale, authoritative teacher, elaborate secret joke, mystical wishing, well-rationalized bias, or rebellion against science. My horoscopes are fueled by poetry and in service to the liberated imagination.

CRITICISM

Below is some reader email that came in recently. (If you"d like to tell me your opinions on my work, either positive or negative, send them to Truthrooster@gmail.com.)

Mr. So-Called Astrologer: I was browsing through the Folio Weekly newspaper in Jacksonville, and saw your horoscopes, and really had to say: what the hell?!

One horoscope has a bunch of synonyms and antonyms mushed together. What is "strong softness" supposed to mean? Or "daring acts of nurturing"? Just sounds like nonsense to me.

Another horoscope has a weird story about the history of cars (although thanks for providing the moral of the story, because otherwise I would not have realized the point)

So this is just my request to, if possible, give us more of a horoscope and less of a game of words that really do not have any usefulness.

Hold off on the irrelevant stories and be more direct in giving some practical advice about my finances or who I should date. Maybe put in some numerology or even what to watch out for in the current week.

I love reading horoscopes but yours were very confusing and disappointing.

Thank you :)

Fran R.

So, how accurate are Rob Brezsny"s horoscopes? This is a truth value: 20%

Rob Brezsny: personal vibration: 200

If he could raise his vibration, his stuff"s truth value would go higher.

Are Rob Brezsny"s horoscope valuable? I have found that the value is in the eye of the recipient. What is valuable to me is valuable because of me. And the horoscopes have been an average of 70 value on a scale of 1-100.

Because it all depends on you, my friend. Your ability to capture value.

And not surprisingly, to the degree you can capture value here, to the same degree you"ll capture value in other areas of life... probably not a whole lot.

It"s a lot like a beautiful voice captured on a low quality recording... not beautiful.

I want to be a friendly shocker who helps unleash their imaginations, giving them the power to create their destinies with the same liberated fertility that great artists summon to forge their masterpieces.

What is your biggest barrier to raising your vibration?

The foundation of your being needs to change to raise your vibration.

We could say that raising your vibration is raising the foundation of your being, the foundation of your existence, the height from where you observe life.

Your foundation is set by your culture. Your culture also sets what you can hear and what you cannot.

What you cannot hear is what is higher than the level of your foundation.

You hear something... but by the time it becomes conscious, it is translated to the level of your culture. How? By hearing it in the mind, Plato"s Cave.

To the naked eye, you sound kind of stupid. A is said, and you hear B. Your actions will be based on B. And your results will also be based on B.

I have been experimenting with people who appear to be stupid. I have found that their hearing is blocked. Blocked by culture, blocked by the delusional self, blocked by needing to maintain the status quo.

It"s not a conscious behavior. Changing conscious behavior is relatively easy.

The behavior is NOT conscious. You don"t even know what is your culture, you only see it"s part that is outside of the water, the 10%, the obvious.

So how do you change something that is not conscious?

I do not believe in the subconscious mind. It is a construct that puts the onus, the responsibility to the hand of others... and also the power to make a change there to the hands of experts... not you.

I don"t believe that life works that way.

It makes your life a slavery: slave to science, slave to doctors, slave to government, slave to hypnotists, slave to energy practitioners.

This means you count for nothing... and I hesitate to accept that...

In the 33 years of my engagement with transformational self-actualization, I have found plenty of stuff that I wasn"t conscious of. None of it was good news, by the way.

Thank god, I have curly kinky hair. When I was little, my mother would comb my hair and tear half of it out each time. I am exaggerating, of course. And when I whined, she said: No pain - no gain.

It became a meme I live by. So when I get unpleasant news, and it hurts, I know that the gain is just around the corner.

My TLB grew as a result. I welcome pain. And because I welcome it, I grow from it.

So growth is on the other side of pain. The pain of self-disgust... lol.

Your culture and its foundation is stupid, limiting, and making everyone of that culture stupid. Finding that it has given you the life you have lived, and you have been unconscious about it is painful. You want to throw up.

But that pain is the price you pay for raising yourself above it... if you will.

I have three types of students:
  • 1. remains unconscious and hates me, argues with me.

  • 2. dabbles in looking at the truth and runs back to how it has been

  • 3. has the courage and ambition to lift themselves up.

  • The ones that hate me leave. I don"t even have to kick them out.

  • The dabblers occasionally become courageous. Occasionally. Not often.

  • And the ones with the courage and ambition are my heroes.

The challenge is: the truth is hidden from your view.

You see the ripples in reality (maybe), but that is seeing the shadow inside Plato"s Cave... you can"t see the source of the shadow, so you guess at it.
This is, by the way, how scientists work... make educated guesses from the shadows. 93% of them are wrong guesses. Even big name scientists, like Einstein and his Theory of Relativity is only 7% truth value... go figure.

So because the truth is hidden, it occasionally reveals itself when you least expect it. Certain exercises, certain practices, can help.

More often than not you can see it on others... and with a question: Am I like that? you can get a glimpse.
The purpose of meditation, done well, is to reveal these invisible, unconscious aspects of your reality, so you can deal with them, change them, remove them, do something about them.

But people have a Tree of Knowledge concept about meditation. Meditation is a process where you can look and see, because the mind is disengaged.

I have tried Milton Trager"s Mentastic for the past few days. I have found that I instinctively do a lot of the movements what he teaches, but I have found that I do equal amount of forcing... I wasn"t conscious of that, and now I can do something about it. I also see why my exercise class is so incredibly effective to make me ageless. And why the BodyFlex breathing made me tense and hurt more than it helped.

I have found that people have no idea what it feels like to be in the mind, listen from the mind, and what it feels like to be out of the mind.

If you are in the mind, in Plato"s Cave, you took what I said, or what you read, and immersed in untruth, unreality, and you now have none of what you heard, none of what you read. And have no idea that you don"t.

You are so unaware, that you even do my Amish Horse Training Method, or the memes method, or the Playground Method inside Plato"s Cave... with the mind.

If you are not seeing results, now you know why.

There is an exercise I have, thus far, assigned to 100 people. All 100 did something different... so they never learned the distinction: in the mind/outside of the mind.

It"s the color exercise. The color in the cave becomes a word. The color in reality is wordless.

I don"t want to write out the exercise again... read up on it.
