NEW: The attitude of high self-esteem, does it help you or hinder you? Here is your answer...

High self-esteem can be expressed in the picture of the cat looking in the mirror seeing herself as a lion. But is she? No. Therefore, any time she is just a cat, doing what cats do, she will feel bad about herself, because she isn"t living up to her own self-image of a roaring lion. She won"t be happy just being a cat, she won"t take correction, she"ll argue with you to death that she is OK, she doesn"t need to change, that she is a perfect lion.

That cat is you, my dear. Result: everything you try to change your life fails, because in order to change you need to allow yourself to not be perfect. In order to be trained, you need to empty your mind of everything that"s there, and declare yourself ignorant.

NEW: Attitude in relation to yourself: your self-esteem

http://www.yourvibration.com/wp-content/uploads/self-image.jpg

Summary: Attitude: the most potent invisible builder or invisible destroyer of your life, of your dreams, of your results, of your relationships. It is invisible to you, but glaringly obvious to others. Isn"t it time you took an inventory and start changing your attitudes, one by one.As an Expanding Human Being, I study. A lot. I study books, movies, people, myself. Sometimes there is no rhyme and reason in my studying, and sometimes, like now, there is.
I have recently found a teacher who teaches people how to become an expert and market themselves as such, online.

Most people that learn from this guy are already experts at some things, but... It is one thing to be an expert, and another to be perceived as an expert. People go by their perception, not by the fact, in reality, people have no idea what they see, only what they perceive.

NEW: The benefits of knowing you are stupid... or why high self-esteem kills your life

Fact: The world is getting more complicated by the second, but our habits are stuck on the level of hunters and gatherers, the stone age, the simple times.

The complexity, the amount of stuff to deal with, even if you are just using the modern appliances and technical gadgets of the day, is almost higher than the complexity of engineering used to be, 40-50 years ago. I should know, I have two engineering degrees... and I can see it every day. Mind boggling.

But your relationship to learning didn"t keep up with the world: your main attitude about things is: "I should already know this" or "I should be able to do it without learning anything new."

There is a huge disconnect between the you that you think you are, and the you that is out in the world, consistently failing, falling short, and experiences other, largely ignored, feedback from the world.
