What is wrong with right and wrong? Are two trillion pages all mistaken?

First, let"s clarify what is the meaning of "wrong"...

Many people look at me dumbfounded. There are wrong things and there are right things... everybody knows that... so what can be wrong with what everybody knows? Right?

But you see,

If you want to look for what makes everybody miserable, you better look at what everybody says... and use it as a guidance... either to how to be miserable, or how to get clear of misery.

One thing everybody agrees upon is this: some things are right, most things are wrong and the wrong things need to be fixed, killed, stomped upon, suppressed. And it is very real... except... wrong is made up.

But if you look at reality: in reality nothing is wrong. Not a thing. And nothing is right either. In reality A is A. So the moment you see that A should be something else, different, or not be at all... you are making A wrong.

Wrong, right, do not exist in a world where things are what they are, without an interpretation: interpretation in language. Language, in this case, that considers itself judge, jury and executioner... above reality.

This use of language is the source of ALL misery you or anyone can experience.

In life, there is pain... but there is no suffering. Only humans suffer... after they said that pain is wrong... and shouldn"t be.

Let"s look at some examples from real people struggling with this.

Fear:

Student 1, 2, 3: he is cowardly. I am right there with him. I am deadly afraid of pain. Why? Because I am.

I could tell you stories of why I am afraid... but that would be just justifying, explaining of something I consider wrong. Something I consider should not be.

I should not be afraid? If I said that I would be engaging with unreality and my life would feel like sh*t. I would be blocking life at that juncture.

Life blocked feels like pain. Life blocked starts to kill you and your life.

My favorite Mythological/Hellenistic example is the Laocoön and His Sons. The Laocoön sculpture depicts a moment from Virgil"s Aeneid, which recounts the Trojan War. [note]from Wikipedia: The story of Laocoön, a Trojan priest, came from the Greek Epic Cycle on the Trojan Wars, though it is not mentioned by Homer. It had been the subject of a tragedy by Sophocles and was mentioned by other Greek writers. The events around the attack by the serpents vary. The most famous account of these stories is in Virgil"s Aeneid.

laocoonLaocoön was either punished for doing wrong, or for being right, pretty much how it goes in civilization... lol. As a punishment He and his son were sent, or thrown in a snake pit... and tormented.

In at least one Greek telling of the story the older son is able to escape, and the composition seems to allow for that possibility. [/note]

The storytellers don"t agree... but here is what I say:

In the situation Laocoon and his sons found themselves, the snakes are what you fear, the snakes are the analogy of what you consider that should not be.

If you allow the snakes to do what the snakes do, if you allow them to be, they allow you to be.

Of course this may not be how it goes in reality with snakes, but this is how it goes with what imprisons you... like ropes and other limitations. Like fear.

If you allow the fear to be, fear of anything, it allows you to be.

Fear that you won"t get what you want. Fear that you are thought lesser. Fear that you are not smart enough. Fear that you"ll waste your time if you do the wrong thing... Any and all fear, resisted, will slowly kill you and kill your life.
Resistance is the issue, not the fear.

Interestingly, when fear is not resisted, you can do pretty much the thing the fear is suggesting that you can"t do.

Greed, wanting, desire:

Greed is wanting something really really really. Greed is forceful, and in an of itself is a result of making something already wrong.

When you have greed, it is necessary to look for what you are resisting, what you fear, what you are intolerant to. So if you notice greed of any kind, go back to fear...

You may have a natural and useful preference that, when it is not fulfilled, when it is ignored by you or others, it can become a strong desire... that is, like the snakes for Laocoon, become deadly.

We, and all of life, have the ideal conditions to develop into a fully functional specimen: an adult. Food, shelter, clothing. Nurturing, love, attention, encouragement, support, independence, individuality, autonomy are just a few of these.

It is possible to provide all of this for oneself, after the initial few months after birth. But for many children this "crying for the bottle" phase lasts a lifetime, because they, somewhere along the line, developed a make-wrong attitude, mostly by comparing themselves to other children who seemingly fared better than them.

The birth of a next child is often the instigator in this: suddenly someone else gets what they feel is their due. And they make that wrong, make the mother wrong, make getting what they want, each and every time their due.

Sometimes it is "instigated" by a traumatic event: the first "break in belonging" where their self-righteous, entitled behavior is not honored, for the first time, by the parent. It fixates that it"s wrong, and then it becomes the snakes of the Laocoons...

The person never becomes an adult unless they are capable of allowing life to be the way life is: no one is entitled to anything. No one is more special than anyone else.

Another example for greed is the greed for individuality. Individuality means: you are different, you dare to be different, because you are different.

But because society doesn"t like those who are different, because it is hard to feel that you belong (like the ugly duckling to the duck family... because he is a swan, not a duckling, different. By the way: swans are not better than ducks... if you think you are a swan therefore better, you just dug yourself another grave... beware. In reality nothing is better than another thing.)

What are the "symptoms" I can measure when a child got stuck in some should or shouldn"t?

Individuality vs belonging

This is a very unsettling duality. On one hand the person remains a child, fearful of having to make it all alone. Fearful of being picked upon. On the other hand: the person wants to feel like an individual.

And oscillating structure. Resisted. Causes untold suffering, but more importantly it cause no movement. It is like a rocking chair... isn"t going anywhere.

Most people caught in the desire trap are struggling with this belong/be an individual conundrum... unresolved.

It is familiar to me. I have chosen to be an individual and not worry myself about what it would buy me to belong. I don"t belong, and don"t need the goodies it would buy me.

My hunch: have I chosen to belong, I would hate myself, because I would not be true to myself, and I would not be able to do what only I can do: society doesn"t have any tolerance to individuality.

In an oscillating structure the path out of it is choosing.

I have experienced and recognized a few in myself, where I eventually chose and freed myself from the oscillating structure.

  • Smart/stupid was the first. I declared myself stupid, and it gave me freedom to be anything. to not concern myself with individual actions... whether I was smart or stupid.

  • The second oscillating structure was death... I chose to be dying, someone who faces their mortality, and that has allowed me to get reasonably well, and stop resisting, forcing, and suffering. Same with pain... delightful when you allow pain.

  • The third oscillating structure was victim/perpetrator. I decided to choose to be a perpetrator and manage that... to start living a life with the "desire to receive for the sake of sharing"... where no one suffers losses because I have a win, a gain, a victory.

  • Depression was also an oscillating structure: me, like everyone, preferred to be up and energetic, and hated downtime, tiredness, weakness, sadness, and I was fighting it.

Once I chose to be depressed when I was depressed, I started to have evenness: the "mood" inside which one can be productive, and no energy is wasted for fighting for or against anything.

As you can see, humans don"t even consider that they can give themselves what they NEED... and they remain blaming, finger-pointing, angry at others, at life for not giving it to them.

The highest score I have ever measured for "To what degree you have access to your adult capacities" has been 10%. Meaning that 90% is tied up in making something wrong, forcing, resisting, fighting.

Even though I have chosen most things that don"t feel good to me, I started it late... so my To what degree you have access to your adult capacities percentage is 50%.

The about-me score

The second measure is your about-me score. If you are concerned about yourself (fear) you have to keep your cone of vision be occupied with what you need, what you want, and what you fear... and have little room for life, for others, for what would make life enjoyable, and worth living.

People try to go at that number directly, but it doesn"t get smaller.

If your worldview is that unless you resist, blame, fight, make things wrong, you"ll be a loser, dead, slighted, you won"t be able to reduce that number... and you remain what you fear, you actually make it happen: loser, dead, slighted, etc.

Life tends to give you what you fear...

And because greed is a reaction to fear... what you want, what your greed is directed at, will avoid you like a plague... by life giving you more of what you fear. Insignificance, fear, suffering, poverty, being cheated, being considered less than others, pain, failures, etc.

Whatever you fear.

This is proof positive that the Law of attraction is society"s elaborate hoax on humans. Greed is what makes society thrive while its members are suffering.

I live outside of society. Society is not your friend.

PS: As usual, I find many many more aspects of the topic I write about. I found today that what people consider "inspiring" sits squarely on the top of something wrong, or something that should be but isn"t... because of something that shouldn"t be.

I sigh... this is the culture of humans... that I am attempting to redirect to the culture of human beings... where people live in reality where there is nothing wrong... and therefore they can be happy, productive, feel good about themselves. Where nothing needs fixing... forcing... resisting.

When you allow things to be, things allow you to be. What things? Everything... even what feels wrong... bad... ugly... painful... a loss... a threat... All things... and then you can fall in step with life... and you can grow, do, enjoy, laugh... really.

or if you are like me... this new abortion law that is designed to divide and conquer...

I wonder what they are hiding... what they are afraid that you"ll see... instead of arguing.

PPS: find the idea of returning to innocence attractive? Come and talk to me next Wednesday on my live webinar...

Reality... the pragmatic approach that removes the misery, the suffering, even frustration

Back in the early 70"s I had a live-in boy friend, who was a philosophy student. His father was a famous philosopher, was a Hegel expert.

Hegel, I hear, is one of the most impenetrable philosopher to me. The family, father and three sons, had regular philosophy lessons.

I am not interested in philosophy, not a debating/argumentative person, but lately I am encountering philosophical questions that are at the root of my teaching: teaching you to be in harmony with life, teaching you to live a happy life. ((Here is an interesting philosophical article, that I chewed myself through... not pragmatist at all.))

One of the most important questions here is what is reality, what is real, because all that unhappiness we experience comes from what is not real.

What the dictionary says is not very useful... because what is the criteria? ((re·al·i·ty noun

  1. the world or the state of things as they actually exist, as opposed to an idealistic or notional idea of them.
    synonyms: fact, actuality, truth

a thing that exists in fact, having previously only existed in one"s mind.

the quality of being lifelike or resembling an original.

synonyms: verisimilitude, authenticity, realism, fidelity, faithfulness

antonyms: idealism

2.
the state or quality of having existence or substance.
"youth, when death has no reality"))

Of course, given our sensory organs and their limitations, the fact that most of reality lives in the invisible, and given our propensity ((noun: propensity; plural noun: propensities

an inclination or natural tendency to behave in a particular way.
"a propensity for violence"
synonyms: tendency, inclination, predisposition, proneness, proclivity, readiness, liability, disposition, leaning, weakness)) for having thoughts that have emotional effect on us, we have NO IDEA what is really real what isn"t.

I am a pragmatist...

I am a pragmatist... I am guided more by practical considerations than by ideals, and the practical consideration for me: does it improve your life, does it raise your vibration, does it make you more effective at living your life?

And even in the "how to teach" area I am more pragmatist that anything: my only goal in teaching is not to hear my voice, not to feel how smart I am, not how good what I am saying sounds; instead I am looking at you, the student, and I measure what is invisible but a good indication that you are more effective at living your life with the teaching than you were before the teaching.

I invented a methodology in my second year (1987) of participation in Landmark Education. It was inspired by a 12-step program plus a Landmark concept... and the Playground was born. ((Landmark Education is great at many things, but it is not great at really teaching anything... but why?

Because really teaching is a lot of handholding. And that is time consuming, and doesn"t pay well.

Landmark invented a method where unpaid participants (assistants) "coach" other participants...

But the system doesn"t quite work, because the training methodology looks only at certain measures to see if the assistant is qualified to coach... measures that don"t matter from the point of view of teaching.

Teaching is only teaching if it results in a lasting change in perception, and behavior. And Landmark Education, according to my personal experience and my muscle testing, doesn"t do a good job at that.))

The Playground was the first program I participated in (alas, as a leader more than a participant) that altered lives.

The first Playground practiced one movement, one perceptional move, and it produced miracles. With just movement.

The practice movement was to shift the attention and the emphasis from the words and emotions to reality.

We defined reality as what can be perceived, without words, by our sense organs. What a Martian would see/hear/smell etc.

Without the meaning. And by god, it worked. It worked mostly because of repetition. The kind of repetition that helps internalize what you learned... helps you able to make it instinctual. Automatic.

The principle was entirely Landmark, but the practice was what was new, and the practice is what made it work.

I revived the Playground a few years ago, and the first two times, it was a definite blah, mech experience because of the lack of lasting results. In fact it didn"t have any effect on how people lived their lives.

People didn"t practice between the calls, they were coming only to hear something new... not to learn how to live friction free... Because that is what we are learning. Living friction free.

One of my students in the current Playground is separated. He went to pick up the kids from their mother, and all four started to cry, and carry on that they didn"t want to go with daddy, that they hated to be with daddy.

Everyone looking on, including the mother, were mortified. But my student wasn"t... He said: it"s OK if you don"t want to come...

In the end the kids went with him and they had a blast. He did not bat an eye... no upset, no personal hurt. No problem.

This is what is possible.

In the current version of the Playground we meet, as a group, once a month, and the in-between weeks the participants pair up and have their own calls, called partner calls. The calls are recorded. I listen to their calls, every call, and give feedback. They also have the option to have email access to me.

The pairs practice the moving from unreality to reality, and they do exceptionally well: the average vibration rose by 70 points.

The partners that try to talk about it, instead of doing it, where one participant is trying to teach the other, don"t fare well, which proves my point, that you need to do it to learn it. Talking about it doesn"t help.

Half of the pairs do well... Half don"t. 50%. And the course is not even halfway through.

Compare that to the "normal" effectiveness of any whole program or course where the results are 1-2%.

I also add, every monthly session, a new distinction from the invisible reality, so what is reality moves from the simplistic view of the Martian to a rich layered view...

The other day I promised to create a little document to describe what the "finished" state of the transformation will look like.

It is quite simple:

  • 1. You"ll habitually move from something upsetting or disturbing to reality, where nothing is missing, nothing is wrong, there is nothing to fix.

  • 2. You"ll experience a serious reduction in mental treading water, the amount of noise in your head, and the time you spend in different emotions. In fact, the best of you will experience silence...  and won"t suffer from or act from emotions... consciously or unconsciously. ((I have a friend who claims he feels nothing, but his knee jerk reactions, his impulsive actions tell me otherwise. He is literally self-damaging... his own victim.))

  • 3. You"ll be able to become more aware of your surroundings, your inner workings. Become more tolerant and forgiving for your and others" shortcomings. Priceless

  • 4. Your ability to see value that you couldn"t see before makes life a lot happier. Appreciation and gratitude will become available to you. Appreciation literally means: seeing and recognizing value.

  • 5. You"ll experience joy when you least expect it.

  • 6. Your TLB will be growing, you"ll be able to, finally, start getting good at what you haven"t been able to master, because before it felt difficult, unappetizing, or not possible... and you"ll be better at your work, and able to make a lot more money with much less effort.

  • 7. Your relationships will become a lot more harmonious and friction free.

  • 8. You"ll become a lot more organized now that you are not jerked around by desires, and urges, and other nasty emotional b.s.

  • 9. You"ll be able to accept yourself as you really are, and start experiencing self-love... sweet.

  • 10. Finally you"ll be able to complete, come to terms with parental abuse, and see your parents for what they were, people who did what they thought was OK... because they didn"t know any better.

  • 11. You"ll welcome criticism and feedback and be able to tweak your behavior so you get even more out of life.

I"ll add to this list when I get to see more... there is more...

I"d like to start a new Playground sometime in April or May. If you think you are ready: please let me know.

I"ll attempt to schedule the group call time to fit your schedule. I am available almost any time between 6 am and 7 pm... I go to bed at 7 pm.

Each monthly session is 2-4 hours long, depending how it goes... The partner calls are about an hour long, and are at least once a week.

You cannot solve a problem that is not real

We all have moments of brilliance and hours of stupidity, or some version of "not brilliant"

Some people take it in stride... this is how it is, no matter who you are. Einstein had moments of brilliance... and hours, days of stupidity too.

If life were not like that, brilliant/stupid alternating, there would be no life on the planet... we would all die of exhaustion.

Brilliance is not the only "peak experience" we all crave and wand to keep around all the time. So we are with pretty, and nice, and helpful, and all the other made up "solutions" to our failings... And, as I have said before, every solution is the beginning of a bigger problem.

I got raped because I was stupid, I said.

So the solution was to get smart... But, surprisingly, smart did not extend to actually knowing what people wanted, and also did not extend to knowing the invisible dynamics of reality... so I got nearly raped a dozen more times later in life.

You cannot satisfactorily solve a problem you don"t fully understand. And, maybe even more importantly, you cannot solve a problem that is not real.

When I say "not real", I mean: made up. Invented. Construed.

In the Playground program we learn how to tell reality and "not-reality" apart. Distinguish them, one from the other.

It"s been almost impossible for participants to understand even the concept. Instead of real... they try to substitute other words, like valid, or true... but those, valid, true, have no relevance to the question: is this real or is this made up?

To distinguish reality, I have introduced the vantage point of a freshly arrived Martian"s, a dude who doesn"t know earthen languages, comes from a different culture, and has no idea what the earth culture considers good or bad.

The Martian can see, it can hear, but it cannot interpret like you do.

And people were happy with this method... "Oh, ok. if the Martian cannot see it, cannot hear it, then it"s easy... pretty much nothing is ever happening in reality." In that reality there is, for example, no yelling, only talking loud. No storm only snow falling.

And although that is closer to the truth than what you have been honoring as reality, it is incomplete. There has to be more... more of reality... reality that you can understand, so you can live intelligently.

Intelligence is how well you can acquire and apply knowledge and skills.

So, to round out what is in reality, I start to teach the "invisible dynamics of reality"... and people love that too... "groovy, babe" but cannot connect it to the distinction "reality" itself.

My hunch is that at some point in human history reality got bastardized, and been reduced to some concept... and therefore it has lost its validity for the students.

When two distinctions, two concepts, two pieces of knowledge don"t connect, this fact makes for a fragmented world view... as if your face and your profile view weren"t of the same person.

You consider them separate... nothing seems to connect them, even though they are the same thing viewed from a different angle.

So, presently, in the Playground, I am battling that dissonance, that inability to see the two as the same.

I am an architect by training, and for me it is natural to look at things from different vantage point, the floor plan, the elevation or façade, are showing the same building... and I have no problem seeing it and treating it as such. Seeing that changing, for example the floor plan, will change the elevation.

But for many, maybe for most people this is an intelligence, this is a capacity that is missing.

A master mechanic student in the Playground shared yesterday that when, in the shop where he works, he gets diagrams from the manufacturer on new design of an engine, he gets all flummoxed by the drawings, and can only comprehend the new design buy taking the actual motor apart.

This same student has taken on learning to play the guitar in his 20-day learning challenge. Why this is good? Because in teaching himself the guitar, he has to look at symbols on diagrams, in two dimensions, and translate it to your hand positions... and that is starting to awaken, develop the missing capacity of seeing the same things from different perspectives.

Even seeing someone"s hand on the neck of the guitar needs to be translated, connected to his own hand... that is the capacity we are looking for.

My prediction is that this student will be the first to crack the puzzle of "reality" and "invisible reality", and if we are lucky, he will be able to explain it to the ones who are more on his general education/knowledge level than me... I don"t know what magic words to use.

Here is another way this lack of capacity shows.

In the Learning to Learn course the fuzzy brain state, stepping back and stepping out of the forceful, nearsighted, fixated focused state is introduced.

Some students recognize it in some activities and manage to step into the fuzzy mode (Theta brain state) where learning is possible, where connection to other areas of knowledge is visible, and they are happy about that.

Then, maybe even the same day, I see them being bogged down with an article... and I can see that they are back in the focused mode, where everything other than what is right in front of their noses, is non-existent to them, and they cannot see the big picture.

They can see fuzzy brain state in one area, in one activity, but not in another.

The same capacity is missing, and to be able to see the capacity, you need to use it... it is invisible from any other angle.

Another whole area of life where this inability wreaks havoc, where two views of the same thing don"t connect in their brain, is in self-image, or the image of self.

They have a self-image, made up, where certain styles, characteristics, are unduly emphasized.

Here are a few examples:

  • I am brilliant, or I won"t do it.

  • I am tough and can take any pain... but inside I suffer

  • I am a superman... but I am overwhelmed.

That is their about-me aspect of reality, about themselves.

Then they can see how the world relates to them, how this makes them dis-function in the real world, with others, with tasks, and the two pictures don"t create a coherent whole, a useful picture of the self, just like "I am smart... but can"t see that they want to rape me".

Seeing yourself from the inside, and seeing yourself from the outside tells you two different stories. And unless you can see that the two stories are really about the same thing... you are trapped in your self-image... a self you made up when you were an upset 3-4-5-5 year old kid... not knowing any better.

Only when I managed to break out of the self-image of smart, seeing clearly how it really was, how limiting that self-image was,  that I invented a way to learn to see beyond the confines of that prison, and started to see more of the world. More of reality.

I explain the methodology in my February 2019 monthly free webinar that I recorded for you. In shorthand, I started to hitch my my attention, my consciousness to values that lie outside of the smart/stupid paradigm, one at a time, staring at "nothing" until I could see it, until it revealed itself. ((To take a stand for the future is to bring forth a new opportunity, not one derived from the past, but an opportunity created from a future to which we give ourselves. When you create from the future, you create from the yet invisible (for you) realm of reality.))

What was invisible to me was obviously visible to others, otherwise it would not have a name, loyalty, trust, service... all things that were, at the time invisible to me.

The invisible dynamics of life are invisible only because they need to be observed and distinguished to be seen... not hidden as one of my students called them yesterday.

Werner Erhard, famously, said some 30 years ago to the 46 Forum Leader Candidates: I am the only Forum Leader because I can stand in the face of "it" not working longer than anyone...

What did he mean? He didn"t explain, but I know, regardless.

I practice it everywhere, including at night, when I am in bed and turn off the light. Or when I turn off the light in my office, but still have to walk through the dark living room to get to my bedroom.

I stand there, in the dark waiting to see the room slowly emerge from the darkness, tell apart the furniture from the floor, the light fixture on the ceiling from the ceiling itself... telling apart is distinguishing.

I confess, it is easier to have patience and gentleness in the dark room than to stand and wait for people to comprehend, to see and learn the distinctions I teach. To listen one partner call after another of confusion, and pontificating and no seeing.

In this regard Werner Erhard is my hero: I am, by gosh, not going to be any less than him... lol.

I would not be able to do this if I still lived in the high about-me paradigm: smart/stupid.

Like Werner said about that high about-me:

If you’re going to be a leader, you’re going to have to have a very loose relationship with this thing you call ‘I’ or ‘me’. Maybe that whole thing in me around which the universe revolves isn’t so central! Maybe life is not about the self but about self-transcendence

or another quote, about the same thing: The moment when you really experience that you have created yourself being whatever way you are, at that same moment you will never have to be that way again. ~Werner Erhard

Why can"t you copy the same exact thing a billionaire does, and get the same result?

  • What is the difference between people who make a lot of money, and people who don"t,

  • people who have good family life, and people who don"t,

  • people who have good health and people who don"t?

I watched a video on which a dude played the same exact tunes on three different violins.

The link to the video was on Digg, and the editor said that they, in Digg"s office, didn"t hear much difference.

I did. One violin"s sound brought tears to my eyes... it was so incredibly resonant, and beautiful. ((

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1HotrHNXwpE

))

I used to be a musician, and I can hear. I have a lot of distinctions in sound, in music, in tone, I can hear.

It is remarkable to what degree what you can"t see, what you can"t hear, what you can"t feel, doesn"t even exist for you, of feels missing for you.

  • Imagine being a pilot with impaired vision.

  • A music critic with impaired hearing

  • A book reviewer with a third grade level vocabulary

That is you. Oblivious to the fact that what you see is not reality, and even of what can be seen, you don"t see more than 1~10%.

How effective do you reckon, can you be in life?

If you answered: not very, you are on the right track...

The average human is 1% effective.

We are talking about a whole species who fancies themselves the owner of this planet, on average having 1% effectiveness in their activity.

Now you see why we are destroying this planet and other species.

Humans, as they are, cannot think right, cannot see right, cannot act right. In anything.

The people who are successful, the Warren Buffets of this humanity, are 2% effective with reality, and that makes them a billionaire.

Nancy Zapoliski and Werner Erhard, in their high vibration days were as effective as 3% with reality.

What Nancy Zapolski and Werner Erhard have over the billionaires is their education to see more of the invisible dynamics governing human behavior.

Your teachers, your PhD"s, doctors, gurus are at 1%: that is why what they say can make sense to you.

When I said 1% on average, like with any average, humans are distributed along the Bell curve: 50% of humanity"s effectiveness is under 1%.

You know what you were told was true, and you accepted. You then considered it safe to ignore everything that could have opened your eyes that what you were told was not true... but who wants to be bothered? Right?

My effectiveness with reality is, on any given day, in any given area of life, is between 7% and 10%.

What is my secret?

The secret is almost always curiosity, and the willingness to test. Everything.

I also have a superpower: I can penetrate a visible or invisible dynamic like nobody"s business... fast and accurately... and I love it.

I have been recently realizing that my superpower is a portable skill, not only applicable to transformation, it can be applied to marketing, to business, to health, to relationships... just a few areas I play in.

I am not the only person with a superpower: you need to watch what activity causes you pleasure while it produces something, and you are on track to find your superpower.

  • One of my students is a magician with machines... and recently he managed to take his superpower: his powers of observation, to another area, thus increased his happiness by two.

Your superpower can give you access to areas of reality that are hidden from other people"s view... once you trust yourself enough, and do enough work to distinguish reality... not before that. This same student, before he joined the Playground where I train people in recognizing and penetrating reality, he was ordinary, and without power. No superpower... a ping pong ball being thrown about.

  • Another student, it seems, has a superpower to see beauty, to be inspired by beauty, not only visual beauty, but the beauty of an idea, a value, a structure...

  • Yet another student, it seems, has a superpower to fall in step with horses and be anchored in her life by this immense superpower. If and when she expands the areas where she uses her superpower, her effectiveness in life will increase, and her happiness with it.

Because humanity"s ability to see reality, to see things for what they are, they are highly dupable, and this, duped they are by their more ambitious peers, salespeople, politicians, gurus and teacher and sellers of wares.

Those people peddle ideas, stuff, and it is all to gain power over the unsuspecting unaware humanity... their prey.
Life is hard for you if you have no awareness, no ability to tell reality from unreality, one thing from another...

My courses, as good as they are, cannot do much for you unless you bring something to it.

The most important number in your Starting Point Measurements, that predict if you will raise your effectiveness with the course, or not, is your ambition number.

Ambition, the way I use it, the way I mean it, is your willingness to do for what you want.

The keyword is willingness. Not ability, but willingness. People with a resistant, avoid domination personality don"t have a steady ambition score... their unwillingness can kick in any moment they feel that they have to... and the number drops...

If that is you, it is hard for me to promise anything: you are unpredictable.

If your ambition is 10 or above, you can do well in my courses... for example in the Playground I am still accepting one or two new participants.

PS: Can I teach you to see and distinguish all I see? I don"t know. It is, unfortunately, up to you.

I will give you all I have, leaving nothing out. What you can take, what you can implement without turning it into "truth repeated is a lie", is what you gain.

The course starts on March 3, Sunday, 10:30 am NY time, 7:30 am on the West Coast, 3:30 pm in the UK. This module is two months long.

You can apply for the second module when in the course, not before.

The tyranny of the pursuit of happiness

More books are sold on happiness than maybe even on dieting... especially because 98% diet books" hidden attraction is happiness.

Weird, eh?

I have read my share of the books on happiness, of all kinds of psychologies, philosophies, and just inane silliness in articles, TED talks, youtube videos...

In my humble opinion no one is willing to shout out that the emperor is naked. that our desire for happiness is what causes this sea of unhappiness we are all swimming in.

Every book silently and sinisterly assumes that this worldwide scrambling for happiness is valid, fulfillable, and comes from a healthy place... a desire that is in sync with life.

It isn"t.

Life won"t change because you want it to... and for nobody"s sake. The leopard doesn"t change its spots, the scorpion is not stinging because it wants to kill you.

Life is life, and it has its nature... and you: you are a guest in this life who isn"t given the run of this house...

Of course everyone is filling your head with garbage, with techniques that lead to more unhappiness, more dissatisfaction, and less life.

So let"s look what are the invisible rules of life that will lead or not lead to a life of contentment, joy, and a semblance of quiet joy, a life worth living.

Here is what I plan to accomplish:

  • 1. What is the basic untruth... the bottom tip of the iceberg

  • 2. the evolution of the cult of unhappiness...

  • 3. conclusion: unlearning plus learning how life works, distinguishing and learning to see

1. The basic untruth

This is the cornerstone and also the linchpin of human existence: language. It is ultimately the curse of language and how we use it that is at the root of all evil.

It is language where the moment you consider that

  • things should be different than they are, that

  • how they are is wrong, and that

  • they need fixing and

  • they are fixable.

You did that all in language.

You can see that without language the whole idea of happiness is a non-issue.

  • If things are the way they are, and

  • they are the way they should be,

  • you don"t need to wish them changed,

  • you don"t need to consider them wrong the way they are, and

  • you can simply put your attention to doing the best you can with how things are.

There are more happy people in prisons and jails (per capita) than in the general population. These are the people who make the best of what they have. They earn degrees, professions, and thinking, because they have time and energy to learn, while if they were on the outside, they would consider their environment to give them what they want, instead of them getting what they want.

I had a marked moment in my life when I first realized that no one is coming to my rescue... and everything I wanted was up to me. I started to say: if it is to be it is up to me...

And that was when actually becoming happy became a real possibility, when I stopped blaming my circumstances, when I stopped hoping for what I cannot do myself, and started to come down to Earth... and slowly but surely work for what I wanted.

So the basic untruth is that things should be different than they are... and that looked at this "wrong, must be fixed" filter, they will either change magically, or someone will come and change it for you.

Ultimately, I could finish the article right here... because this is really all that needs to be realized. That by removing the core untruth, the whole construct falls apart...

But a lot of people will not be able to see, or will not be willing to accept that ultimately they are the cause of their own misery.

That their own attitude towards reality makes them feel powerless, and renders them powerless.

So I"ll go and talk about the body of the iceberg... hoping that more people will recognize themselves.

2. The evolution of the cult of unhappiness...

Myths, just like religion... are created by words, words that create an emotional response: a marker feeling and its interpretation: an emotion.

The most important thing to understand is this: reality is reality. And words, originally, were designed, words were meant to match reality closely... to express in words what is. To give us power... but then something happened.

Someone decided that words that express a judgment are an effective way to enslave others. That words can be an effective vehicle for evil...

...and what I say evil is "desire to receive for the self alone... aka at another person"s expense. Getting what belongs to another, in effect killing, stealing, robbing other people of their self-esteem, self-regard, of their power.

This marks the birth of the Tree of Knowledge, the Tree of Good and Evil... where someone has the right to call something good or evil, or right or wrong... a personal opinion made public... and often the law.

You came to this party when it was already running, and no one has ever told you the rules. You have been asked to live life that comes without a rule-book, and you are making it up, the best you can, as you go along.

But you want rules to guide you, so you are finding them where you can... a hodge podge of rules. 97% of those rules are really rules on how to be unhappy, unsuccessful, and unhealthy... and only 3% of those rules are actually effective and helpful for life.

But you don"t know how to discern, what questions to ask to discern if what you are looking at is a good rule or a bad rule.

One good question to ask would be to ask if the rule is serving the narrow self-interest of a person or a group. And ask that about every rule you recognize as a rule.

The confusing thing about any body of authority: church, state, family, is that some of their rules are for workability, i.e. on the side of life, but yet 97% on average of all the rules serve the narrow interest of the church, the state, or the family, and therefore cannot and don"t care to serve your interest...

We are most interested in your interest to live a life it is enjoyable to live...

The United States constitution guarantees the "pursuit of happiness" to every citizen, but that expression is fully and wholly misunderstood and therefore easily violated by the powers that be... and have been before and after the birth of the United States, because no declaration will change people"s desire to receive for the self alone... the only evil there is.

Racism is desire to receive for the self alone, forcefully pushing down other people... hoping that when the other is disempowered, they can be exploited and used to increase profit to some.

It is done with words... words that create marker feelings... aka emotions, that disempower the listener.

I just hung up the phone with a brand new buyer of my products, an African American woman, whose Starting Point Measurements are the highest I have ever measured for a client.

I could sense that she stopped fully generating her life... and I was curious at what point.

She shared that when she was in graduate school for Public Administration, she was told by all the whites that as a Black person she was inferior, she was less deserving, and that she was not going to amount to anything.

And without intending, she stopped feeling intelligent, stopped managing her attention, stopped managing her time... and she slipped and with her her studies slipped as well.

This is the power of words, the words that create "marker feelings" that disempower the listener.

You could be repeating those words to yourself, by the way. Self-disempowerment...

I am finding that the little voices in my mind are shouting right now, saying "I can"t do it" or "You can"t do it" and also "Who cares what you say!" or "They are not going to get it", or "You can"t write worth beans"

The art, the skill is to leave the voices alone and be advised by something that YOU said, not the voices.

In my case, what is guiding me is what I have set up for myself as a context for my work: Whatever I manage to discover and teach is going to become a part of All-Knowledge, and will not die with me. Whether it will be used by the current humanity, or the next, is not my concern.

Of course, my preference is that at least some people living today will pick up the "broadcast" and start living a life worth living... But preferences are not shoulds, and my happiness doesn"t depend on what you"ll do with what I distinguish: use it or chuck it.

It took me a long time to formulate my guidance in a way that I can be happy all the time. Happy with what I do. Happy with who I am. Happy and looking forward to each day.

Myth: Visualization

One of the tools of evil is visualization. There are entire courses, programs dedicated to teaching this evil unhappiness making tool.

There is visualization, of course, and there is visualization.

Nicola Tesla was a great scientist. He used his mental capacities to work out all the bugs in his machines, and take them to working. My hunch is that Grigory Grabovoy had a similar ability with airplane engines... but then he decided to use it in other areas of life, like health or wealth, where he had no knowledge, and not authority, for evil.

Which means that the use of visualization is to check reality, and not to create it, or attempt to create it.

Of course that would put thousands of Mind Power teachers out of business, so this teaching of visualization of what you want is growing, and has reached countries that used to be sane... but not any more.

In reality what you want only matters as far as what you want is on what you are willing to focus your activities to create. I call this "ambition" in my Starting Point Measurements.

Ambition is really the percentage of your activities where you gain pleasure from doing what you need to do to achieve what you would like to achieve. Not pleasurable? Dutiful? Not an ambition.

Myth: Unless... when I have X...

When you are of the persuasion that life is wrong the way it is, and for you to be happy, things have to be MORE, BETTER OR DIFFERENT, i.e. change, you set goals... And say: I cannot be happy unless I have X, or I will be happy when I have X.

And, of course you won"t be happy. Why? Because the more things change the more they remain the same.

The changed life carries over the essence of your current life... in this case your base persuasion, the "how" in how you do anything is how you do everything.

Wherever you go, whatever you do, unfortunately you take yourself with you.

My life is a perfect example for that: I moved from country to country, hoping for something better, only to find that I took myself and my misery with me.

Myth: Mind power: you can change the world

Of course, if you need reality to change for you to be happy, there are hoards of "nice" people who are willing to teach you how to change reality...

They invented Mind Power. They invented, like they invented that smoking returns women to their power in the 1920"s... Of course the real reason was to expand tobacco manufacturers" profits... but just like with Mind Power, your desire for something you are not willing to do anything for will trap you in some scam, cult, or desire trap every time.

Mind Power is for people who are not willing to cause, work for, learn what they need to learn for what they want to get.

They will use the magical, mystical, unproven, and dangerous path of mind power, to change reality, instead of doing what works in reality: adjust their actions to reality by embracing reality.

Here is a little tidbit from my history: I always felt that I wasn"t smart enough for what I wanted to achieve in life. Oftentimes not even smart enough to not do stupid things, or to understand a course, a book, or even a joke.

I remember the first mind-power invention I had: "I am brilliant and I am a contribution."

And with that I went and interviewed for jobs I didn"t really want. Jobs I really wasn"t suited for, by temperament and by knowledge base.

That "I am brilliant" declaration bought me more unhappiness and misery than embracing that I wasn"t the sharpest tool in the tool box.

Years later I stumbled upon the idea that if I embraced how I was, if I embraced that I wasn"t very smart, I could go wherever I wanted to go, and take it with me, just like I could carry my fear like an infant, and be able to do anything.

It worked like gangbusters: I started to produce real results in life... Since I have found out that you don"t need to be smarter than you are, to succeed.

Myth: Looking outside vs. looking inside

The last and maybe most important manifestation of the wrong teachings is when you look for guidance, when you look for making decisions.

All the mind-power, Tree of Knowledge, rules, and perception that reality is wrong the way it is, suggest that the truth is out there and it needs to be fixed there.

Mind is outside, by the way. The voices in your head are outside.

Outside of what? Outside of Self, outside of the natural you.

Even outside of you Self-interest.

Here is another astuteness issue, or lack of discernment, that is, by the way, handled quite brilliantly by the Avatar State Activator, Discern, distinguish, be astute: From misery to reality. ((

Discern, distinguish, be astute: From misery to reality

This activator is to ferret out your blind-spots. You don"t know you have blind spots, that is why they are "blind." But if life isn"t working out the way you want it, if you feel powerless and ineffective, if your actions produce no or minimal results, if your relationships are not as satisfying and nurturing as you wish, then I promise you have an abundance of blind spots, many in fact. Some soul-corrections have more than others. It is tough, and it will require your active participation. Much like learning to see... Frustrating, to say to least. You want to trust me, but your perception will prove me wrong... and yet. The results in your life are not forthcoming, so you want to hang in there... Maybe. And if I am right, then happiness, success, is just around the corner...

))

I mentioned a good question about other people"s speaking... here is an astute way to tell if your own good ideas are good for you or not.

Let"s say you come home from work or school, and you feel tired. You have previously scheduled commitments, let"s say, to practice your guitar.

The tiredness, the voices, say: you are tired, lie down, watch TV, watch youtube...

What question could you ask to ferret out if it is in your best interest, or you are being jerked around by the desire to receive for the self alone?

Ask the question: Will resting, watching youtube, TV, etc. leave my world a better place? Or will practicing my guitar?

Obviously, watching the passive entertainment devices will not change your world, whereas practicing your guitar, getting your fingers do what you want them to do, catching yourself getting better at it will make YOUR world a better place.

And that is what astute questions can do for you.

Astuteness, discerning is missing largely because you are hoping that the answers will come to you, without you having to work for them. They don"t, and they won"t.

Your astuteness and your ambition number are highly correlated... and with them moves the quality of your life experience.

Obviously I have been studying and teaching the distinctions of the human condition for decades.

I have 200 plus products that are designed to alter your relationship to reality, and with that, alter who you are, and your results in reality.

The best course I have is, of course, the Playground. But it is a long course, and not many people are willing to interact with me live... because I don"t mince my words when I give you feedback.

So it is not for everyone.

If it is not for you, I teach those distinctions I teach in the Playground, and more, in my 53 Invisibles Course.

Conclusion:

no matter your age, no matter of your current vibration, education, or knowledge level, you can learn to accept reality and adjust your steps to what it is... instead of what unhappy, miserable people do, try to adjust reality to their desires.

It takes work: no magic wand can do it for you, but it is worth it, no matter what is your age.

I am 71 years old, and I don"t know what is my life expectancy. But even if i thought I have only another year to live, i would want that last year of my life spent with being in sync with Life, instead of fighting life. So I would start to learn what I need to learn.

PS: I have been reading Charles Chu on Medium, whose writing has an unusually high truth value, 30%... in a world where books by experts have a measly 7% truth value.

And in spite of our age difference, our topic largely overlaps...

Here is a link to a recent article of his: The Tyranny of the Perfect Life, worth reading.

Playground: it is never too late to have a happy childhood... but how do you change the past?

The full title of the Playground course is: Playground: it"s never too late to have a happy childhood.

Why is that significant? And what the heck does even mean?

The past is the past, and you cannot change it, they say, but if you look in history books, you"ll see that it does... depending on the point of view of the historian... ((Here is a 10% truth value video to explain this phenomenon. Cynthia Sue Larson"s vibration is 200.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mTh1qgk1Jyw
))

In the Playground we re-write your history. Not in a fancy, inventive, "you create your life" kind of way... we actually go back to the root incidents, and look at them through different filters, through learning about different invisible dynamics.

This looking, looking through distinctions, reliable changes the past... and it changes the present moment... because it changes the future... ((What actually happened you can"t change... but before you jump into conclusion: the whole first module of the Playground is to distinguish reality, from all the interpretations, and meanings YOU have added... and although what happened cannot be changed, the interpretations and meanings are in no way part of what happened... and still, they carry 99% of the "what happened" for you... So the secret is distinguishing... Always.))

And what gives your beingness in the present moment is the future you are walking towards. So by changing the past, you whole life, including your future can be changed.

  • One of the integral parts of the Playground programs is the weekly one-on-one partner calls... Without that there would be no results.

  • And the 20 day learning challenge... without that you wouldn"t necessarily see how you are not even willing to learn anything to make your life work, to make your life better.

  • And, of course, it can include email coaching, although it is not mandatory, and the ones that don"t ask for it are normally at a distinct disadvantage.

I listen to every partner call... and give a little or a lot of feedback, depending whether the participants asked for coaching or not.

90% of the work of the program gets done in the partner calls if the participants opted for coaching. Much less if they didn"t.

Why do I write articles that seem to be only for the eight participants of the Playground program?

It"s a good question... and it is a dumb question. What participants deal with can shed light to what a non-participant is dealing with, because my job is to shed light to the invisible. To name what hasn"t been named. To reveal the dynamic.

And even just knowing that there is a dynamic there can save some lives, but more importantly, allow curious people to opt to look deeper, and take back their power from the machine...

That is why I am writing these articles.

The Playground partner calls give away a lot of the "how" in the how you do anything is how you do everything.

I just listened to a partner call, two men, two continents, two different lives, two different soul corrections, two different vibrations.

The conversation reminds me of the book "What do you say AFTER you say hello?" Transactional Analysis book.

Depending on the percentage of the "it is all about me" score in the Starting Point Measurements, you listen to the other person"s example, the other person"s life, for the similarities or the sameness, and have no interest in their differences.

Your vibration is a number. It tells me how much of reality you see. What limits your view are

  • 1. The height from which you look. You see things from a skyscraper, for example a traffic jam, is a whole different view, than being stuck in it on street level... same traffic jam, just viewed from a different vantage point.

  • 2. Your astuteness: your astuteness is a function of how many distinctions you can tell apart. I measure it in your vocabulary, accurate vocabulary, but really, if I wanted to be exacting, what i am really measuring is how many things you can recognize accurately, and tell them apart from similar things.

  • 3. Your about me score. As I have said in another article, the size of that is like a carton cutout, that occupies the center of your field of vision, and you see, if you even look, reality over its edges.

So, every person has those three aspects that influence their "how" and "what"

Another aspect is their soul correction.

Each soul correction has a main linchpin.

Life happens to us all. What we do with what is happening to us is, on the other hand, quite individual.

Most children have early experiences where they find out that life is not fair, that not all of us get the same things, that what works for another doesn"t work for us.

This is where the similarity ends.

What we decide from our experience, our conclusion, our "therefore" will be consistent with our soul correction.

I have a minuscule number for "about me", and I can therefore see fully what is going on for the participants, while when they listen to each other, depending on their vibration number, and especially their about-me score, they will see or misidentify what is going on for the other.

I have to sit on my hand... I want to "tell them" what they didn"t see, what they could change, etc... but it is out of integrity for me... I have committed to provide no coaching that is not paid for... and some people pay, others don"t...
But there is another factor: sometimes helping people to see what they are not ready is akin to cutting the cocoon open to help the not-ready butterfly "applicant" to save them from having to break the cocoon and the pain it implies.

So I don"t....

Even in this article I am trying to not say anything that cuts someone"s cocoon open: what makes a butterfly fly is the effort they needed to break the cocoon open.

Sheer torture for the "emperor"... or in this case, the teacher/coach.

What else can I see from the partner calls?

Life is full of rackets. Every unpleasant feeling is a signal for the underlying iceberg, the invisible parts of the racket.
Payoff is what perpetuates the machine: without some perceived benefit, no one would go through the pain and turmoil of the racket.

Payoff sounds good, right? Like a salary... but in fact it is the biggest criminal in all. It is what corrupts people, makes them sell out, makes them do unimaginably evil things... betray their country, betray their family, betray their best.
When it comes to rackets, the most frequent payoff is never having to show up in life, measure up, produce, really know.

So rackets are really what are the underlying dynamic of procrastination, underachievement, and never amounting to much in life. Not a lack of intelligence, a lack of talent, a lack of opportunity, not even lack of character, but the payoff from the rackets.

Not having to, not having to be the one who causes, instead being the one who is an effect. No one can blame you... but...

But this is where the cost of the payoff, received under the table, undeserved and unearned will attempt to create a choice... and unless you bring full consciousness to the racket, it can"t and it won"t.

Unless you value something more than you value something else... it won"t.

In yesterday"s Playground I measure what is the vibration of the ability to see value... and to my dismay it is 300 vibration. Under 300 vibration you may see individual values, but not value as a distinction. Same for any distinction, by the way. You will see examples of it, but not the distinction as a distinction.

So the goal in the Playground is to hit 300 vibration, where the distinctions, where the values can USE YOUR LIFE, instead of you having to look for them, analyze them, and try to use them.

The Cost: the most expensive cost is affinity, more specifically self-love, self-affinity, and the ability to live from the "higher power" or North Star of "If I am not for me, who is for me?"

The saying, the adage, that when you love yourself you love your life has been true for me, and I have seen instances where it was clearly true for you.

One student, when he could see for a while, that even though he does things he doesn"t like, he is not wrong, he is just doing things he doesn"t like.

And his enthusiasm, and joy was indescribable... he loved himself, suddenly, and thus he loved his life and the people in it.

But when you see yourself selling yourself out for some puny and disreputable payoff... you cannot respect yourself, you cannot love yourself... and thus you cannot love your life.

And the sadness, when people get in touch with that is thick and heartwrenching.

Before you can choose to say no to the payoff... you have to go through that sadness, occasionally shame, or you won"t choose a racket-free life.

Arrgh, that puny payoff is the only thing most people have... not results, not rewarding relationships, not health... no. the payoffs. And that is their life.

It"s a catch 22: in order to learn anything, in order to do anything useful for your life, you need to be saying no to the payoff... at least a little bit of time... or you won"t be allowed to learn anything, do anything for your life.

You see the trap?

Not every soul correction, and not every person with a certain soul correction is caught, fully, in this catch 22 trap... two of the 8 participants in the current Playground are caught in this trap fully, and two are caught somewhat... My heart goes out for them. But the ball is in their court.

Everybody teaches you the shadow-work of Plato"s Cave not what casts the shadows.

Confession: You can never get a cup of tea large enough or a book long enough to suit me

One of your most defining characteristics as a person is, whether you are an optimist or a pessimist.

But the common, and ordinary way to look at those attitudes is inane... ((inane: stupid, moronic)) as in stupid and near-sighted.

Most words are defined with unreality as their focus... when you"ll start to see it, that is when your vocabulary start to hit the level where you can actually see some of reality, not just the "map" of reality.

In today"s parlance optimist is someone who brings positive thinking b.s., positive outlook to what is... and pessimist is someone who is a realist... who allows themselves to see things for what they are, tendencies for what they tend to be...

Positive thinking has been a plague that is destroying humanity... and so is this inane definition of what it means to be an optimist.

I offer another view that is firmly rooted in reality, through the observation of certain choices that tell more of the story.

Optimist, if we want to make the inaneness visible, is someone who believes that the future will be better just because they believe it will be so.

Half of my clients are optimists. They are the ones with the desire trap, they are the ones that are afraid to let go of the rang of the ladder to go to the next level... because their dreams are so juicy... they don"t want reality. They quit, if they feel forced to face reality. Reality is a bitch for an optimist... to hell with it! yeah... lol.

And then there is this group of "it"s not worth it" pessimists, these are the ones who work the hardest.

I have this "it"s not worth it", or at least a version of it.
This is how it goes: I decided, early on, meaning in early childhood, that I was on borrowed time. I decided that I was not wanted and that I was going to have to die... or have to live in the street... somehow... and that has made making long term plans very difficult, occasionally impossible.

Consistent with this "I am going to be thrown out of the garden of Eden, so the only thing that has value is what is inside my head... what I can take with me... what no one can take away.

And I did lose everything, on average every ten years... and have started from zero.

I have even called myself the Phoenix... that burns periodically, only to rise more beautiful from the ashes.

Depending on what is the hero-journey story you made up about yourself and your life... you live a life of high drama... Mine has been this Phoenix/living on borrowed time...

My hunch is that I am unconsciously following a script: I am at the 10-year burn it all phase... and my health has been (predictably) suffering: I am wondering how much of it is self-induced... The high and secret drama unfolds again... lol... not that funny, by the way. ((An aside: As I am teaching the newest version of The Playground, the science of living effectively in reality needs me to define for people to recognize and tell apart reality from unreality.

This, living a script, is reality. It"s invisible reality.

Invisible reality doesn"t mean you can"t see it... It only means that it is part of the 99% of reality that you don"t know that you don"t know.

But if you are willing to look, and willing to learn and recognize it, then it becomes part of YOUR visible, even if no one else can see it, and you"ll become the one in a million who can navigate life more successfully than all the others...

Really, all power comes from the invisible, from the part of reality that you don"t know that you don"t know... once you make even just a little of it known to you, visible to you.

Me recognizing that I am living this Phoenix burn/reborn script prevents me from making it worse... I can stop trying to fix my health/my money every time it burns... I can stay with the important things: eating right, sleeping well, reading, loving people, etc.

Before I recognized this script, I didn"t know it was a phase and it will right itself by itself... so I actually did crash and burn. Get hospitalized. Lose literally everything. Impulsive... dramatic, horrible.

And just like in other parts of life... you can make sure you land softly without breaking bones... the period when i competed on the uneven bars comes to mind... It was dangerous, but not that much...

Most of these "invisible" patterns, invisible dynamics can only be seen if you are willing to step back and look at your life, at your behavior in a larger picture... not in a "nose to the grindstone" perspective.

As long as you are in-it, instead of looking-at-it, you can"t see any of those...

It is a lot like the most useful advice to business people: work on your business instead of working in your business...

Hey, how you do anything is how you do everything... if you can"t or won"t step back here, you won"t step back there.

There is a world of difference between watching the drama and being gutted in the drama... Most of my life I was gutted in my drama... until I could step back, and now enjoy the drama.

There is nothing wrong with the script, or even with the drama, by the way. It doesn"t need to be changed, doesn"t need to be fixed, and probably can"t be changed and can"t be fixed.

Just like there is nothing wrong with tornados. If you live in an area with frequent tornados... you better remember that... And if you do... your life, your house will be the only one that is spared... like that one house this year that survived a severe storm... at Mexico Beach. All the rest of the houses, the rest of the people"s lives went up in smoke, because they pretended that the storm is not coming...

The storm is coming... and pretending it isn"t is stupid... Hey, stupid as the stupid does.))

I am now 71 years old... but this invisible dynamic has been a constant companion: who knows how long I"ll live...

Dynamic is an important word that has also been largely bastardized in the English language. Something that is dynamic means: there are forces... forces at work, and those forces cause, stimulates change or progress within a system or process.

I am an engineer, but in my learned profession, architecture, the forces are much less visible, than in mechanical engineering, where the forces move stuff in predictable ways.

One part of the invisible, for most people, is this whole world of dynamics: an near impenetrable world of the unexplained... and your lack of curiosity, and your lack of squeamishness renders you, forever ignorant and stupid when it concerns anything that moves, pushes, pulls, jerks, pumps, fuels, shakes, levels, rocks, tears, cuts, or rotates, to just use a few of the words that unless you know they are dynamic words meaning something really specific regarding to forces, you have no idea what"s going on.

For you the world is still flat...

And yet, if you have enough desire to live the life where you can win, where you can experience your power, your magnificence, you"ll summon the courage and the brain power that is needed to comprehend, appreciate, recognize and use the hidden dynamics of human interactions, the hidden dynamics of the human "psyche"... that once known, it is like the sun came out in the dark forest and you don"t have to stumble over roots and branches any longer.

The whole world is teaching you the shadow-works of Plato"s Cave... my job is to teach you what casts the shadows.

  • So I"ll tell you, today, what I need to tell you, who knows how long I have to tell you, you or I may die...

  • I"ll take care of myself today... because tomorrow may be too late

Actions are easy, maybe even mandatory when you have this "who knows how long I get to live...". But making long term plans, even buying a 24 pack toilet paper is a daring act... because "who knows how long I get to live... right?"

I remember my first Forum, (It wasn"t the Landmark Forum yet... back in 1987) this was one of the biggest issues that came up: that we, humans, live as if we lived forever, as if we never died... and yet we are always in a hurry.

“Our contradictions. We are in such a hurry to grow up, and then we long for our lost childhood. We make ourselves ill earning money, and then spend all our money on getting well again. We think so much about the future that we neglect the present, and thus experience neither the present nor the future. We live as if we were never going to die, and die as if we had never lived.”

And if you look, that is true for you. True whether you live on borrowed time, or whether you believe that the world will give you all you want, just because you want it.

If you don"t want to waste your life... what has remained, you"ll need to learn a new way to relate to life, to reality, to what is going on.

Earnestly. Not to the shadows, but to what cast the shadows. Reality... including the dynamics.

You need to learn to value what matters, what is important, and de-value the stuff that is not real, that is someone"s fancy, even if it is a whole country that believes it, or a whole church two billion people strong.

You need to, finally, stand on your two feet, think with your own brain, and learn how reality is, how unreality is created by words, and how you can learn to live while you live... instead of being a puppet on a string, being jerked this way and that.

99.3% of all humanity sees the world through the shadows inside Plato"s Cave (the mind)...

The shadows are interpretations of reality... creating fear, anxiety, anger, frustration, and other emotional reactions.

All or most of the books and articles stay in the same world of shadows and interpretations... leaving you powerless, clueless, pontificating, and losing.

By coming out to where the sun shines... you learn to see reality as it is, dynamically...

Nothing is static, set in stone, fixed in reality... and nothing is wrong, needing to be resisted or fixed in reality.

Reality is something that you maneuver, adapt to, manipulate, shape to your own image... but you cannot do that from the cave.

All the manifesting teachings, law of attraction, most of making money teachings relate to you in the cave... and don"t teach you the parts that can only be taught to be seen and recognized from outside of the cave...

I teach what others won"t... either because they don"t want you to be powerful, or because they themselves don"t know...

99.3% of humanity relates to the world through the shadows... not to what casts them.

You can become part of the .7% who don"t...

I teach this in the Playground... It"s a program...

It is, although enjoyable, not for the wimpy and the sissy... It is probably not for you... 99.3% certain... lol.

You know who you are... or if not, the Starting Point Measurements will tell the truth about you...

And here is a little common knowledge bordering the invisible, maybe even overlapping a little:

Pay special attention to the quote... The constant facade of order hides the wilderness that is craving to seep out and teach us that life wasn"t created to be what we think it is... we must experience the wilderness to be taught what cannot be otherwise known

What that quote does, is touch on, hint on the order in the wilderness that has been undiscovered by you...

That is what I teach... that order.
