Notes from today"s DNA capacity activation webinar... and more. Lots of insights to share

Every time I do something new, I hate it and learn something new.

We had the webinar where I activated self-trust and humility for people who were on the call... subscribers to my mailing list only.

They were also students and customers... no surprises here.

There have been a few surprises, that I"d like to share:

one needs trust in others to allow me to "do them" on a public call...

depending on the level of trust, a person can get a capacity activated even if it is not directed specifically at them

people with the least amount of trust are the most fickle: they try anything and then get all messed up: full of attachments from their escapades.

Take back your life... Take back your power... The value of proving that you can

About two years or so after I graduated from architecture school, I was assigned to manage a project. A big one. A university in Oran, Algeria.

I wasn"t assigned because I was so good. Looking back I was green. I didn"t have the vision. I didn"t have the big picture. I didn"t have even the small picture.

Then a new person came to manage the department, and he sent me back to be a draftsperson to prove myself from the ground up.

As any self-respecting arrogant person would, I said that I didn"t have to prove anything... and I quit.

It was arguably the worst thing I could do for my career as an architect, and it created irreparable damage inwardly too... I damaged the trust between me and me, I damaged the trust between the ego and me. I now had quitting as an option... and it set me on a path of floating unhappy leaf... damaged goods, for a few years.

What can Marco Polo"s legend teach you?

This may just be a legend... Yet, legends can teach...

Marco Polo was an Italian man who arrived into the Great Khan"s court. The Great Khan asked him and his two companions about the desert they had to cross to get to his court.

The two older men had little to say. Marco Polo, on the other hand, had a lot to say.

The two older men were banished, Marco Polo was given the role of advisor.

Why?

Because Marco Polo didn"t live his live with his consciousness buried in his mind.

WTF, right? What does that mean?

Intelligence is like money: it can buy you a lot or it can buy you junk

Get Rid of Frustration Once and for All?
I just pulled the energetic attachments from two guys, and I had an insight while I was doing it.

Both guys are frustrated: given how smart they are, their results should be over the top, but they aren"t.

When I looked at their dominant belief, I saw the reason.

Are you stingy in your acknowledgments?

Stinginess... where is it coming from?

Unwillingness to allow another to have a part in your success, unwillingness to acknowledge what someone else did that helped you be successful, is what I call stingy.

Example from my youth...When I was in architecture school, my favorite teacher, young, dashing architect, was very co-creative in his approach to teaching.
