Your Dark Side: Desire To Receive For The Self Alone, Cutting Your Nose In Spite Of Your Face

All religions are against selfishness. All parents, all people tell you that you are a better person if you are about others rather than being about you.

The problem with this universally accepted principle is that we actually don"t know what we are talking about. It seems that what we are asked is to be selfless, to give up our selves, our self-interest.

Selfless can mean two things, both are a crime, a sin [note]meaning: you miss life in its entirety, all the present moments, all the good stuff, all the bad stuff... that is the meaning of the word, originally, of sin. Missing the mark... namely the present moment[/note] , a horrible thing giving you a horrible life:

  • 1. We now have and know no self. This is a widespread phenomenon [note]60% of all people has no sense of self, 95% of all people has no or not much sense of self today[/note] in this day and age, and I was a victim of this phenomenon for many decades.

I literally did not know what I liked, what I wanted, what turned me on, what floated my boat, what I was excited about, what would have I wanted.

I knew fairly well what I didn"t like, but just like with everything, there are a thousand ways to miss the bulls eye, but only one way to hit it.

Knowing who you are, what you want, what turns you on, what ticks you off, what your preferences are, what your values are is mandatory, if you want to be on the path to become a human being.

Without that you are just unconscious sheep. [note]But worse than that: even if you want to walk on the path: whatever is not solid enough to drop, you can"t drop it. You can"t catch what you don"t see! Which means you are stuck with an undefined, amorphous "self" that doesn"t serve, can"t serve  you.

You"ll go into your mind trying to remember who the heck you were in the past to give you some semblance of guidance! For most of you that is worse than death.[/note]

  • 2. Giving up your own life, on your own life, on your own interest, on your own enjoyment, on your own fulfillment... for others" life, interest, enjoyment, fulfillment, whatever...

You cannot be a human being giving away your own life: it is against your nature, you are suppressing your nature, and anything suppressed will get its due: you either will go crazy, sick, or raging angry at the most inopportune times.

It is only your ego, the one that says: "but I am good..." enjoys it.

Human Being, (not just by looks and physiology, but by consciousness,) a Human Being, takes 100% responsibility for his physiology, for his needs, and takes care of those, without abusing anyone, without taking away anything that belongs to someone else.

A real Human Being does not suppress: instead uses his intelligence to express the needs, fulfill the need at appropriate times and in appropriate places.

You need to own that you are built on animal body, and consciousness, nothing will change that.

Making your nature wrong kills you, kills your body, kills your spirituality, but feeds your ego.

Unless you are Self-ish, your life won"t matter. Your self-expression will be pretentious and fake, or non-existent. Your creative powers will be un-expressed, unused, or frittered away.

Now, let me talk about something that no one talks about: another price of suppression: ego.

Ego, in its eagerness to make you special, make you successful, is doing a horrible number on you.

All Soul Corrections deal with this very issue: I am going to explain it here.

Desire to receive for the self alone is what modern psychology calls ego. Ego desire. Being right, making the other wrong, dominating, avoiding domination, avoiding responsibility, and all the other ego moves. [note]the six moves of the ego,  six ways to have desire to receive for the self alone:
1. wanting to look good/avoiding to look bad/causing another to look bad
2. being right/avoid being wrong/make another wrong
3. winning/avoid losing/cause another to lose
4. dominate/avoid domination
5. justify self/invalidate another
6. avoid being responsible for what is yours[/note]

Instead of being Self-ish, (knowing who you are, knowing what is your unique expression, knowing what you need and what you want, without EVER violating another"s right for the same) you have suppressed Self-ishness, and now you feel justified to trample on other people"s rights, interfere with their lives, or withhold what you would naturally give them.

I can see this clearly in conversations, namely in all podcasts, all Playground partner calls... It is so obvious to me, so invisible to the offending person.

Most of your life is about gaining power over others... a clear violation of the base law which is: you can have anything you want without taking away another"s right for self-determination, for fulfilling their purpose, to earn their living, to live in peace and happiness.

Your main ambition in life seems to be making people miserable, upset, feel bad about themselves, get sick, lose the will to live.

I mean it. This is your main occupation, your main, albeit hidden purpose in life, unless you are Self-ish.

When you are Self-ish, you are busy creating, you are busy Self-expressing, or just living.

People suffer servitude, or animosity around you, and you pretend that you have nothing to do with it.

You won"t really do anything else, lest they have some fun, some benefit, feel like they can just live their lives. No, you won"t allow that!

Let me give you a recent example:

I have recently released a revolutionary audio recording, called Harmonize The Planet. Originally it was meant, like the name suggests, for harmonizing the planet. I asked people to join in and I was collecting a "donation" to be able to make a difference in the world.

Making a difference in the world is something very important to me, given that humanity has accelerated the pace with which it is destroying life on the planet. And there are not a lot of people whose activity can make a difference in that arena. I was excited that I could create something, and I thought that people will be excited to be able to contribute. After all this is OUR planet. And I supposed that my readership consisted of high-minded people.

Then something unexpected happened: the audio turned out to be doing two other things, on the level of the individual, things I didn"t know it would do or even could do..

  • It turned out to be an effective antidote for the common anguish and anxiety... Trust me, I had tried everything before, and nothing worked like this audio.

  • The second thing that it does is even more valuable. You see, to go to the next evolutionary level, humans need to use the mind as a tool, instead of being used by the mind... like puppets.

People use their minds to understand things, to listen, to see, to see what they feel. The mind is not a suitable tool for that, so people are completely cut off from reality, and the culprit is the predominance of the mind.

This audio, The Harmonizer, shuts up the mind. It creates a welcome pause, a silence, in which the Beyond can talk to you, in which you can contemplate who you are, in which you can feel your feelings, listen to your inner guidance, hear what others are saying, or just rest.

The audio cost a pittance, but only my students were buying it.

When I muscle tested why other readers don"t buy it, I got that people resent that they have to pay for others" benefit. They"d rather stay anguished, or riddled with a busy mind, lest others benefit from what they are doing.

Now, whether they are thinking of their mother-in-law, their "best" friend, I don"t know. I know one thing: if it benefits another, as well as them, they don"t want it.

Here is another example:

Some 25 years ago I had a lover. Every time I wanted to have sex, he refused. He said he felt used. He said that I was asking for it because it was good for me.

What he could not see, did not see, is that he, a man, always enjoyed sex, whether I did or not. But he preferred that he was the only one enjoying it.

Somehow it made him feel better if he was the only beneficiary of the "act."

The people that say: no, "I won"t buy the Harmonize The Planet audio, because it also helps others," are just like this one-time boy friend of mine.

A direct result of pretending all your life to be generous and selfless... while you withhold yourself and wish everyone dead around you, so you can finally have your day.Get your Harmonizer audio

The skill to identify and the skill to overcome your dominant way you avoid to grow

pikes_peak_from_garden_of_the_godsIt"s eerie how soul correction that is calculated from your date of birth and zodiac signs, calculated from just your birthday can be so very accurate in their core.

By core I mean your base nature. What you are inclined to do, the attitude you are inclined to have.
My horoscope for the next weeks or so... by Rob Brezsny:
VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22): Pike"s Peak is a 14,115-foot mountain in Colorado. It"s not a simple task to trek to the top. Unless you"re well-trained, you might experience altitude sickness. Wicked thunderstorms are a regular occurrence during the summer. Snow falls year-round. But back in 1929, an adventurer named Bill Williams decided the task of hiking to the summit wasn"t tough enough. He sought a more demanding challenge. Wearing kneepads, he spent 21 days crawling along as he used his nose to push a peanut all the way up. I advise you to avoid making him your role model in the coming weeks, Virgo. Just climb the mountain. Don"t try to push a peanut up there with your nose, too.

As you know, or should know, I don"t teach anything I haven"t tested myself... and mostly on myself.

louis_pasteur_experimentI was thinking this morning how arrogant of me to compare myself with Louis Pasteur, who tested rabies on himself... he infected himself... and then cured himself.

So I am not comparing myself with Pasteur, only with his method.

I mercilessly test certain innocent looking foods or innocent ways of eating on myself. It hurts. I get foggy... or I get diarrhea, or I can"t sleep, or I have wicked stomach ache. Or get depressed. Or get manic. The result you get from eating the wrong foods, eating the wrong way, or sleeping the wrong way.

canary-finchI have taken on being the yellow canary. [note]The canary in the coal mine is always the first to go, whether in reality or in metaphor. It"s a signal that something terrible is happening, whether it"s financial disaster, medical breakdown, or political scandal. It"s also a historical fact - miners did take canaries to work with them. If the canary died, they knew that they were soon to follow if they didn"t run.

The idea of canaries was first proposed by John Haldane, a man who knew quite a lot about dabbling with deadly gas. He"d lock himself up with gas in a sealed room, taking copious notes on what it felt like to be slowly poisoned. Not that he didn"t do good work. Carbon monoxide, a by-product of combustion, killed people in poorly ventilated spaces. Haldane noted the fact that the carbon monoxide combined with hemoglobin in the blood, and the resulting combination stained the tissues of the poisoned bright red. When coal miners mysteriously started dying, their faces flushed and red, Haldane put two and two together and realized carbon monoxide was the culprit. He suggested a canary be used as a carbon monoxide detector, and people did use them well into the 20th century.

Canaries, and birds in general, are suited to this not just because they"re small and portable, but because their anatomy makes them vulnerable to airborne poisons. Birds are continuously "inhaling." This is what helps them fly, which is already a tremendously taxing aerobic activity, at heights that would cause a human altitude sickness. Human lungs house many little alveoli - sacs with thin outer layers that allow oxygen to pass into the bloodstream while letting carbon dioxide out of the blood stream and back into the lungs.

For birds, the oxygen goes in and the carbon dioxide out, when it travels through a structure that resembles a ribcage-like series of tubes. When a bird draws breath, it passes air through those tubes, absorbing the oxygen into its bloodstream while the remaining de-oxygenated air goes into two sacs in its body. It also takes in air that rushes directly to a second set of sacs. When the bird exhales, the "spent" air rushes out, along with the carbon dioxide. That second set of sacs, full of unused air, also empty. Their oxygen-rich air rushes through the tubes on its way out, letting the blood absorb yet more oxygen. Birds are getting fresh air when they inhale and when they exhale - a double dose for our single one.

This makes birds great at taking in oxygen, but extraordinarily sensitive to poisons in the air. A canary is taking in the poison twice with every breath. Even if it were as big as a human (and what a sight that would be), it would die faster from poisoning.[/note]

Climbing a mountain on your knees pushing a peanut with your nose... lol.

Unbelievable... That is what I have been doing.

There is a step in the 67 steps where you compare what you need to, or want to do, with putting man on the moon. And in that contrast you can see that most anything you have to do, or what to do, is easy. In the contrast...

Why do you need the contrast, you ask?

Because the lower self, the Selfish Gene, does not like you to step out of bounds.

As I said in another article, the recognizable moves or the Selfish Gene are

  1. looking good

  2. avoid looking bad

  3. being right

  4. make another wrong

  5. avoid being wrong

  6. winning

  7. avoid losing

  8. dominate

  9. avoid domination

  10. justify self/explain

  11. invalidate another

  12. avoid being responsible/ownership/blame/power/causing

All designed to keep you the same, keep you gene-bound, keep you in the chicken coop.

My dominant move is avoid domination, my secondary move is dominate.

Let"s look at avoiding domination... It is clear and easy to see that you are avoiding the domination of other people, of rules imposed on you.

It is harder to see that you also avoid the domination of your own word.

Depending on your base nature, you slither out, slime out, or break out from under the domination of your own word.

what-kind-of-sign-are-you-earth-air-water-or-fireMaybe even disappear, if you are an air sign.

  • Fire — 1 - Aries; 5 - Leo; 9 - Sagittarius - hot, dry, ardent

  • Earth — 2 - Taurus; 6 - Virgo; 10 - Capricorn - heavy, cold, dry

  • Air — 3 - Gemini; 7 - Libra; 11 - Aquarius - light, hot, wet

  • Water — 4 - Cancer; 8 - Scorpio; 12 - Pisces - wet, soft, cold

It is mighty useful to know how your machine makes you drop your commitment, how your machine fails you. Robs you of fulfillment, robs you of everything you ever wanted.

The opposite moves, like dominate/avoid domination always rule in pairs.

It is easier to see one side. For example if you want to look good, avoid looking bad is how you fail yourself, how you avoid your own bliss.

If you are into winning... then avoid losing is your favorite way to remain a loser in life.

Got it? I hope so.

Both sides of the move are harmful, but the avoid part is the more harmful side, and catching it and controlling it can bring unexpected and welcome change... the change you haven"t been able to create.

Controlling both sides: and you will be on your way to heaven.

Now, returning to the original topic: most people will first pay for something, like a health consultation, and then will doubt it, question it, sabotage it, let it gather dust.

Are they avoiding domination? You betcha they are.

And unless they find a way to surrender to their own word... they will remain unchanged, no matter how much money they spent on how many energies, and stuff.

The Selfish Gene wants you to remain the same.

Yesterday one of my students and I created a plan to see if it would work to just test the idea, the word... a little bit.

And ease into it. Maybe fall in love with it. Maybe see some results. Maybe allow the little step to make it easier to make the second step.

So far I have been resisting to even make that tiny step... albeit I have been thinking about it... and contemplating the benefits... that is already pointing in the right direction.

I bought two pieces of software, both for the website, and both promise a better user experience... and maybe more income for me...

Why on earth would I resist these? lol... but I am resisting, and the why doesn"t matter.

The only thing that matters is that I wrestle the control away from the Selfish Gene, so I can continue growing.

I used the word "wrestle" because I am an earth sign. You may trick the Selfish Gene to release control. Go around the Selfish Gene to do what you need to do... depending on your horoscope sign... I say.

Either way, please be assured that developing this methodology of honoring your word, instead of avoiding its domination, will be the most useful skill you can have to be able to climb the tree of life, and to attain a life worth living, health, wealth, love and happiness, the four pillars of a well lived life.

Paradigm Shift, Paradigm Jump, what the heck is a paradigm and what"s in it for you? Planetary Ascension, my assssssss.

March 4, 2011 I"ve been talking about paradigm jumping as a major tool to improve your life. I have been talking about all kinds of stuff regarding paradigms, but what is it, and why should you care?

Evolution of a species is not linear.

There are evolutionary shifts, we could say paradigm shifts. The fish climbing out to dry land was a paradigm shift. A lot more freedom, a lot more stimuli, a lot more fun... but also a lot more danger... And evolutionary jump.

Humanity is poised to take an evolutionary jump, and by poised I mean: should take an evolutionary jump if it wants to survive as a species on this beautiful little planet called Earth.

Right after I posted the previous article, I had my regular weekly call with Mike. We have been talking every Sunday morning. He is one of the testers.

Our Sunday calls, mainly for the way Mike listens, are the main way I "poke the box."

As you could have learned, reality has two "paradigms," the visible and the invisible. And looked at reality in a different way: the current paradigm and a new paradigm.

The new paradigm is really a potential, a world that is there but we haven"t gotten to it. It really gets created for you largely by the poking. The main elements, I think, are already there, but...

These conversations, and my articles are the main way I poke the box.

Is box the same as a paradigm? Yes. But there is also personal paradigm and there is cultural paradigm. I poke both... I poke all kinds of paradigms... lol.

I poke the cultural paradigm given my special role in the future of humanity.

The call with Mike was, mainly, about my frustration with humanity, represented by my seven testers: their job is to allow me to

  • 1. inform Source about the issues that are holding people back

  • 2. test possible bridges, possible paths to the next paradigm in the evolution of human being.

I get a lot of new information for Source, but a big piece of the puzzle came clear today. This piece has the potential of causing a breakthrough... one can only hope, right?

In spite of all my teaching, all my coaching, all "my" brilliance, I have produced a big fat zero result with the tester group, both individually and as a group.

They are not closer to evolving now than they were 5 months ago when they started. Very frustrating.

But the piece that I got today explains why I haven"t been able to produce a result.

Here is the piece I got today: the missing piece is not a behavioral issue: it is a paradigm shift issue.

So, really, what is a paradigm, and why should you bother?

Comparing paradigm to a box is a good start. Just take a big enough box, paint the walls that the box looks like all-there-is: just like in the Truman Show (that"s a movie title!) where the sky was a painted dome... and a much bigger world was beyond it.

Or you can tile the wall with one-way mirrors, where the mirror side is inward, toward the inside of the box, where you live. You live yourself no matter where you look.

The Matrix movie is also a good example: the world is created by a big computer and nothing is real. Neo and Morpheus and the crew are in a bigger box around the Matrix box and can go back and forth... The Oracle lives in the Matrix box, by the way... The people in the Matrix are unaware of a bigger box, unaware that they live with boundaries.

This pretty accurately describes how it is: there are every bigger paradigms, like nested boxes, each revealing a little bit more about all-of-it. The rules of the game, the skills required to live in, and the rewards are different in each.

Outwardly not much changes between paradigms: these paradigms are not like moving from Earth to Mars, it"s more like moving from a 2-bedroom to a mansion: the skills and the challenges change. If you bring your 2-bedroom mindset to the mansion, you are re-creating your own little box inside the bigger one.

But more importantly, from the 2-bedroom mindset you can"t anticipate the world of the mansion, no matter how hard you try. It is not conceivable from your current paradigm.

And this is the issue I have been unable to see. I have been living in the larger paradigm. I wasn"t aware of the paradigm shift, so I thought everyone is in the same paradigm where I am. I was wrong, and it has made me ineffective.

Everything I have been teaching was based on the certainty, that you only need to change your behavior: that you had the capacities of the paradigm I lived in... and that turned out not to be the case.

The two crucial exercises I remember doing, myself, were inconceivable for someone who live in the current paradigm of humanity.

You can"t teach something that is inconceivable. It"s like talking Greek... you won"t understand. I can speak louder, nicer, whisper, talk to you while you sleep, in hypnosis: it won"t make a difference.

evolutionary jump I had a series of clues lately: it has taken me till this morning to get it.

  • Clue #1: people still speak from their head

  • Clue #2: in spite of all my efforts, people are not doing the practices that would flash out their cone of vision (will write an article on this...)

  • Clue #3: last night, on the connection call, a brand new student volunteered to teach another one the way she connects. She was there to be taught by me, but felt superior to me, she felt she knew how to teach another one better than me. As it turned out, her method is wrong. It does connect one, in that regard she is right, but it causes serious damage, not just to the person, but to me... and she was quite certain that her method was the way to do it. Great clue...

So, how am I going to be able to help, at least a few pioneers over the chasm, over the one way mirror, that separates paradigms? They are not any easier than the challenge Neo faced when he needed to choose between the red and the blue pill!

Answer: I don"t know yet.

Not satisfied? Find a better guide! Better yet, volunteer to teach others to do something that you don"t know how to do... like the girl on the call.

PS: March 10, 2019

I am republishing this article because it shows how my thinking has or hasn"t change in the past 8 years... The next article will be published in a few hours... just come back, or better yet, sign up for notifications of new posts in the sidebar.

Invisible Dynamic: Undeclared commitments: what is under the hood

My horoscope often tells me what I should be dealing with, either for myself, or for you and me.

This is the horoscope I received in my email box today, from Rob Brezsny:
If you were a snake, it would be a fine time to molt your skin. If you were a river, it would be a perfect moment to overflow your banks in a spring flood. If you were an office worker, it would be an excellent phase to trade in your claustrophobic cubicle for a spacious new niche. In other words, you are primed to outgrow at least one of your containers. The boundaries you knew you would have to transgress (step over the boundary, infringe or go beyond the bounds of) some day are finally ready to be transgressed. Even now, your attention span is expanding and your imagination is stretching.
Obviously he uses the word "transgress" to express that you are in some self imposed prison, he calls it container. Rob Brezsny is a typical California positive language dude... not a straight talk dude, like myself.

Now, whether it is addressed to me, or whether it is addressed to us, I am going to attend to both aspect.

The first thing to examine where it is where "we", you and me, consider certainty, security, knowing more comfortable than stretching.

How The Unconditional Love Activator Changed My life from Hated to Loved

How I found myself loved, respected, and maybe even revered... a tale of extraordinary transformation, from hated smart know-it-all to loved
I used to be smart. At all cost. In fact smarter, that would be more precise to say. Smarter than you, him, them... ;-)

You see, it almost didn"t matter whether I was happy, rich, pretty, healthy, as long as I could be smarter than you.

Most people hated me, and I had few if any friends.

Since my vibration rose to where it"s at today, I have had no issues, people actually like me, most of them anyway.

Recently I had a curious phenomenon happening to me.

I have shared that I am taking a class. We are sorted into groups, and the group meets every week. My previous experiences of being in a group were horrible: I was beaten up regularly, it was painful. Always.

This time my experience is the exact opposite: people thank me for my contribution. Wow, what happened? I have been waiting for the other shoe to drop, but it hasn"t. Until this morning I had no idea what changed.

This morning I watched a commencement address at Georgetown University on video. The address was lousy, boring, didn"t address anyone in particular, and if I hadn"t been participating in Landmark for 27 years, it would have made no sense to me. Then I saw an email of someone in my class rave about the address, and I got really angry.

I started to say insulting things in my head about their lack of ability to discern what is good and what is not. In my internal monologue they were stupid and I was smart, much smarter than them. And it felt horrible. The pain in my chest was unbearable, it was hard to breathe, I was miserable. And I had an insight:

When I am right about how they are, when I am smarter than them, I am miserable and caught up in a self-righteousness trap. I used to be like that all the time. Judgmental, always implying that I am better.

But the interesting thing is that it wasn"t the words I used, but the attitude of having to be smarter, and them having to be stupider, for me to be smarter. Does this make sense?

In the recent conversations with my group this wasn"t happening, in my classes it doesn"t happen, with my friend it doesn"t happen, with my family it doesn"t happen.

I did some thinking and this is what I"ve come up with: some 62 years ago I got into trouble for being not smart enough. I got hurt. A whole lifetime of drama got its start in that incident. It makes sense (MIND!) to fix that issue by being smart.

That smart/stupid issue acted like a nail that was driven through my right foot my whole life. I could not just enjoy conversations, because I had to be smart, in fact smarter than them. I sought the company of people who I thought less smart than me, so I can be smarter. When I was an architect (17 years!) there was not a day when I didn"t wonder if I was talented enough. I was trapped, I was miserable, and there seemed to be no escape: it was like a machine that churned me whether I liked it or not.

Until about a year ago. What happened a year ago?

Two things, in fact.

1. I recovered broken off fragments of my soul? Self? I am not sure, because I am still not sure where the dividing line is between my soul and my Self... But regardless, I followed someone"s instructions not through what they said, but what they did, just like when I connected just as Vianna did, not the way she said... and I managed to find many broken off fragments. ((I created a whole course on this, the Activate Divinity course)) Too many... I did live a life of abuse. I cannot say I had nothing to do with it... in fact I think I caused most if not all of it... but that is how the machine works.

2. And once I was done with that, I started to experiment with an activator of Unconditional Love...

That was the very first activator I tried my hands on, and because I didn"t know if it would work, or how, I needed test subjects.

Nancy was the first.

I downloaded the Unconditional Love Activator into myself while I activated my friend, Nancy, who was a pioneer.

Nancy was a great tester. And her grandson got everything Nancy got, through the genetic upline channel, which I call history channel.

The most remarkable thing that happened as a result of the Unconditional Love Activator, happened to the grandson: he voluntarily stopped throwing temper tantrums and using rude words...

...and I stopped having to be so darn smart! That activator pulled the nail out of the floor board, tha nail I danced around (concern) and now my life could move instead of just dancing around being smart/making others feel stupid.

The most surprising thing is that today it"s OK for me to be smart, no one hates me for it.  Except one person who, it seems has that same concern: having to be smart. ((In the East (India mainly) they say that there is no one but you. This doesn"t make much sense, but this guy proves it famously.

This guy hates me every time I open my mouth and sound smart. Is his hatred about me, or is this hatred about him?

My guess is that he has this same smart/stupid machine like I do. Every time I say something "smart" he thinks that what I am saying is that he is not smart. What I am trying to say here, that his upset is always about him, his hatred of me is about him, never about me.))

Until you free yourself of having to be in a certain way to fix yourself, you"ll see everything through that "wrong you are trying to fix." You"ll see everything in that skewed way: everything is about your issue, and it seems that the world is trying to prove or disprove to you what you are afraid of. And you will be miserable.

One of my students, for example, has anguish arise in her chest every time I praise someone on a webinar. In her world, inside her machine, it"s either she is the star, the best, the one noticed, or she is nothing. And in her machine there is only one way to survive: by being the best. A horrible trap, if you ask me, but not more horrible than my smart/stupid trap. Exactly as horrible.

A friend of mine has glee arise in her chest, and laughs raucously, every time I say someone is not as smart as they think... It is the same machine.

Some people"s machine is about significance/insignificance, some others" about being worthy/unworthy, being special/not special, belonging/not fitting in, or being different/being ordinary, being this or that, a binary structure, black or white.

Every machine is designed to fix something unfixable. What holds the machine together, what keeps the machine churning is an un-reality, an un-truth.

I was never stupid, you never not belonged, you were never unworthy, different, a killer, stuck, or whatever you made up when you were 3-4-5 years old. Something that is not real cannot be fixed. Fixing the shadow of something won"t fix the thing... ((I teach everything I can about telling reality and unreality apart in my Playground course))

There is no person who isn"t caught up in a machine like this.

And everything that happens to you happens inside that context. You get to be someone who cannot learn. You get cancer. your husband leaves you for a younger woman. You are asked for a date. You are trying to figure out what you like and what you should do with your life. Your water isn"t energizing. You misses your thesis deadline. Everything.

Until you get yourself reasonably free from the machine (I am about 70% free, just muscle tested it) all your efforts to carve out a meaningful life are futile.

Lots of people ask me: what is my soul purpose? No matter what I answer, until you can get out of the machine, you are not even interested. It"s the machine that is asking that question, not you.

So how do you get out of the machine?

Fastest way I know is using the Unconditional Love Activator for 40 days. It"s a video recording. In addition, to make it more effective, I am downloading it now five times a week on live meditation calls to those that have purchased the Unconditional Love Activator.

It"s inexpensive, so that most people can afford it. Still about 40% that buy it never use it.

Why? Because your machine has given you your identity. People experience fear of what their life will look like once they are set free. It"s a valid fear.

Luckily the changes come so slowly, so imperceptibly, that you are be able to smooth into your new life. The life won"t change, but you will have freedom, peace of mind, and silence. Heaven. Inside.

The outside never mattered anyway.

The third brain... immersion: the secret to mastery of life and growth

There are, in my experience, three thinking brains, at least potentially, in every human...

The first thinking brain, the mind, that is in cahoots, in collusion, working against you with the selfish gene. That is what creates a life of reactivity, full of fear, full of anxiety, full of sharp turns and devastating jerks. I"ve lived there... and I hated it.

The second thinking brain, the one that evaluates, reasons, figures stuff out, is slow and plodding, and hard work. Creates real solutions, keeps you out of trouble... but not fun.

And then there is the third thinking brain... the work of thinking is done in the background, on the back burner, while the foreground is silent, resting, or busy learning something new..

That is where I live now.

I am getting a few questions about that, and I decided to tell you as much as I can see... the mechanism is largely hidden from my view... It is in the background...

I"ll use myself, and clients" and students" stuff as illustrations...

In the past month I saw more maturing, more "going to the next level" than I had seen in all my career as a coach.

Expectations, Self-Image, and your future results: should you expect the best?

illusion, beautiful illusionI have a friend who is around 4 years older than me, he is in his 70"s. We have been talking once a week for about seven years.

He would like to retire, but his business is in decline, and there is nothing to sell: he is a glorified self-employed person.

Since I have known him, he bought about 15 money making programs, only to drop them after a weak attempt, after losing money with it, or even without trying.

predictableLast week, to keep myself challenged and sharp, I signed up to a program by my favorite teacher, Robert Plank. The program is to teach you to build an easy, self-sustained business using Amazon.com, buying low and selling high.

It is not that I needed instruction per se, I needed to be challenged. I already have an Amazon business, so I could almost teach the course... But there was something I really liked about the setup: Lance, Robert"s partner, has a 7 years old daughter. She asked her dad to teach her to create a business of her own... Wow, that is not your usual relationship with your kids, is it? So he created a "modality", a system of business, that is fun, and easy enough for a 7-year old.

I decided, that if a 7-year old can do it with guidance, then my friend will certainly be able to do it... lol.

Now, we had an hour long conversation, I shared with him some of the things he needs to know, and then gave him "homework" to do. Then he said: "I expect this to succeed" or something similar to this.

CatLionMirrorI flew off the handle. I said: "Don"t bring positive thinking bs into this conversation! If you ask me what I expect, I look at your past performance, and I see failure after failure. So I expect this to be a failure in spite of your good intentions, in spite of my help, in spite of the good information."

This article is about this aspect of the delusional attitude positive thinking teaches you to have.

They say: expect good things to happen to you... Ugh.

Trend is a largely graphical method of showing where things are going.

It is based solely on your past performance, and your attitude. Your attitude is very predictable, it can be called constant, it is so predictable.

You are unaware of your attitude. You are unaware of the powerful force it is to fail you.

Positive expectations is an attitude. You pretend that you are starting with a clean slate, you pretend that you are not who you are but someone way way better: who you "should" be, not who you are, not who you have been, not  who you will predictably be for the rest of your life.

Moronic. A sure sign of low vibration.

Here is what came in my email today: isn"t it eery that the writer of this email is addressing the same issue?

Brands are Built on Core Beliefs
http://evp-50116959de4b9-dd521b5ed563ee25508422182c681a30.s3.amazonaws.com/mmm140303-brandscorebeliefs-1.mp3

I look in the mirror and see the person I believe myself to be. You look at me and see the person you believe me to be. We don"t see the same person.

Businesses, too, see themselves differently than their customers do.

A flatterer disguised as a branding consultant will help you create an idealized self-portrait and tell you it"s your brand. I say "idealized" because we businesspeople judge ourselves by our intentions. Customers judge us by our actions.

Peace of mind comes from liking the person you see in the mirror.

But brand attraction happens when the customer looks at your company and sees a reflection of themselves.

ImageMirror3We are attracted to brands that stand for something we believe in. Likewise, we are attracted to television shows, movies, books, websites, podcasts, newscasts and songs that confirm what we believe. This is known in psychology as "confirmation bias."

Let me say this plainly: If you challenge a person"s core beliefs, they will avoid you. Agree with those beliefs and they will like you. This is the essence of brand building.

But not everyone believes the same things. This is why a brand-builder must choose who to lose. There is no message, no belief system, that appeals to everyone.

The Democratic party and the Republican party dominate American politics even though just fifty-eight percent of Americans align themselves with either of these two brands.

In a survey of self-identified "Liberal Democrats" and self-identified "Conservative Republicans," Experian Simmons identified the Top 15 favorite television shows of each group.

Not a single show was on both lists.

Not one.

Liberals prefer shows of moral ambiguity like Mad Men, Dexter, 90210 and Breaking Bad, where the good people aren"t entirely good and the bad people aren"t entirely bad.

"I don’t mean to make light of it, but Democrats seem to like shows about damaged people,” said John Fetto, senior marketing manager at Experian Simmons. “Those are the kind of shows Republicans just stay away from.”

Conservatives prefer shows where hard work and talent are clearly rewarded. Reality shows and contests like American Idol, Dancing with the Stars, Survivor and The Bachelor scored high with this group.

waterhouse_echonarcissusInteresting information, right? But not really surprising when you think about it. Narcissus saw his reflection in a pool of water and fell in love with the person he saw.

Confirmation bias strikes again.

How can you use this information to make money?

1. Quit trying to change your customer"s mind.
2. Tell them they"re right.
3. Confirm their suspicions.
4. Demonize their enemies.
5. Let them see themselves when they look at you.

Do these things and you"ll make more money (or friend?). Usually, a lot more money.

But a strange thing happens when you "go along to get along," when you agree with people you don"t respect, when you fail to speak out against injustice, when you allow etiquette and expediency to quietly replace compassion and courage:

You look in the mirror and you no longer like who you see.

How do we remain open to seeing things from a new perspective without losing clarity of self in the process?

If I ever figure it out, I"ll let you know.

Roy H. Williams

Now, returning to my friend who said: "We"ll expect this to be successful." Is he a bad person? No, he isn"t... he just doesn"t exist as a person. There is a person he thinks he is, he hopes he is, he pushes in front of him as HE, he who doesn"t exist. But there is a real self inside that he doesn"t know about, that accepts him, accepts his behavior, his delusions, his cowardice, his settling for less, without judgment. This is the Creator/Witness/Observer aspect we all have.

When you manage to remove the barriers between these two selves, a whole new life becomes possible for you. You will stop pretending to get love, attention, appreciation that you didn"t earn. You will stop trying to be someone you aren"t. You will start working with what you have, and earning what you earn. You will not need others loving you, because you already have as much love as you need: your Creator aspect already loves you.

You"ll experience freedom, creativity, powers, and self-expression. Because little by little you"ll have a self that you can like, that you can love. When you"ll look in the mirror, you"ll like the person who is there... and you"ll love your life.

When you like yourself, you love your life. That is the bottom line.

The Unconditional Love Activator, especially infused in your drinking water, can take you there faster than anything I know.

It only takes a few minutes to infuse your water... and it works quite fast.

Cancer: The unexpected results of positive thinking

think-positive-collage2Whoever thought that the well-meaning positive thinking will become a prison and a sentence to a "no joy life" for most who become a "practitioner" of it, about 80% of humanity at this time.

Whether you know it or not, your powers of comprehension depend on your powers of distinguishing.

In the old est training, the trainers came to the room on the first day blasting: "for you Everything is the same as everything else ... except not always" and they were as accurate as accurate they would be today: you can"t tell your ass from your elbow.

This is true for everybody, including yours truly... the difference is only in degrees. No one is exempt from it.

The capacity to see differences clearly is called astuteness. The capacity to tell apart similar things, to name them and claim them.

Download the pdf version of this article at the end of the article

no-negative-thinkingWhen it comes to thinking positive or being positive, 99.99% of you thought that what it meant is to suppress the negative, both thoughts and feelings.

It seems so clear, doesn"t it? If you suppress those, then what you are left with is positive...

But reality isn"t as simple as your simplistic thinking.

One of the most fundamental facts about the human brain and about Life is that they are ambivalent.

Ambivalent means that each feeling comes with an opposing feeling. Love and hate. Frustration and joyful expectation. Life and Death.

Always. It is the nature of the human brain. Everything and its opposite.

Maddening. I remember dealing with that in psychoanalysis some 35 years ago. I wanted it to stop.

Psychoanalysis is a weird beast: the therapist doesn"t say anything. In fact they are not allowed to give you any feedback... if the two therapist I had over the seven years are any indication.

So you are on your own. And you can either distinguish or not, you are either astute or not... and if you are not... bummer.

I was astute, I inherited the spiritual capacity of astuteness from my father. I saw that the two feelings are seemingly always together, inseparable, like the front of your hand and the back of your hand. You suppress one, the other one get suppressed with it.

So I decided to leave it alone, and look at other issues.

Example of ambivalence: different or same as everyone else

One other issue was, not surprisingly also ambivalent, is wanting to be different and wanting to belong. Mutually exclusive futures... You can either have one or the other.

I obviously chose being different, and grieve what I lost: belonging.

Human genes make you accepted when you are similar, rejected if you are different... including being better.

The moment you see how reality is, including the reality of the human brain, you have a chance to have it all, and moreover enjoy it all.

Enjoyment is another ambivalent issue.

The world, your world, is full of pleasures. Feeling your body, your muscles, breathing. Your first cup of tea or coffee in the morning.

The coolness of the water as it passes through your throat. Stretching. Reading. Writing. Speaking. Being heard. Meeting someone"s eyes and feeling that you are seen.

All unforbidden pleasures... available to all, ignored by most.

The same suppression phenomenon applies here: you have forbidden pleasure desires. You suppress them. And now you can"t feel any pleasure...

The two wolves that fight for dominance need you to want to suppress one of them. When you allow both to live, there is no struggle: you just feed the one you want to feed, and you have peace.

Having an urge doesn"t mean you have to act on it. Even if it is the machine-like urge of your genes. Or the machine-like urge of your soul correction.

Example: Judgment and assessment are very similar, but also very different.

Of course ask anyone, and they don"t know the difference.

You say something in both. But the context is vastly different.

In judgment it is all about you. Your motivator is "desire for the self alone". You say what you say to make yourself look better.

In assessment there is no you. You see and you say. It has no reflection on you.

My vibrational reviews are assessments, not judgments.

My vibrational reviews are assessments. You or your guru being low vibration doesn"t make me feel better about myself, doesn"t make me look better. It is just what is so.

Same in my workshops.

If you can"t tell the difference between judgment and assessment, you"ll be mortified by the things I say about the participants. Sounds even nasty. But nasty is judgment. It intends to put the other down... nasty is all about the speaker.

I am not nasty. I am compassionate. I tell you the things I tell you so you can calm down and stop hiding it. So you can take a deep breath and look at it and say... "ugh. ugly."

Once you do that, without self-judgment, you are on your way to power. Power is impossible when you suppress. Suppression is force. Violence.

No power. No enjoyment. No flow. No abundance. Only death. Only violence.

If you take the time to observe the inner dynamic, if you learn, little by little, that you are not a ticking bomb... you may become someone who I can work with, who can start living an invented life.

Where all the unforbidden pleasures more than make up for everything.

Where work, learning, solving puzzles, breaking through barriers is pleasure.

Really.

Ambivalence, the feeling of the opposites, is like alternating current.

If you slowed down a video showing a lit light bulb, you"d see that the bulb being "on" is an optical illusion, the light bulb goes through on and off, sixty times a second. And it goes through positive and negative, sixty times a second.

If it stayed on all the time, it would burn out in minutes. If it stayed with the positive only, it would burn out in minutes.

That is why Edison had to do a thousand experiments... because he wasn"t the smartest and most astute person: Tesla was a lot brighter: he saw the nature of reality, that it is ambivalent. And therefore our power source needs to be ambivalent also.

Life and death, always happening, every moment of every minute.

That is life. The one you think would work better is deadly. It is like cancer.

The way you practice positive thinking is cancer-like. Kill everything else and only grow the cancer cells.

Congratulations. You"ve found the opposite of the Philosopher"s Stone. [note]The Philosopher"s Stone is said to cause living forever[/note]

Human culture is known to favor one side of ambivalence and vilify the other.

The book Pendulum says, this goes in cycles, predictable cycles.

We live in the phase of WE cycle. Forcing and favoring the "we are one", cooperation, giving back part of the ambivalence.

Being selfish and wanting to be part of a community are the two sides of this ambivalence.

But both are part of human nature: "no man is an island" is true... "you need to be who you are or you"ll be unhappy" is also true.

While all of humanity cycles through suppressing one side or the other, you can say: "heck with it, I"ll embrace all of life, and all of my nature."

And you"ll be the winner of the prize: a fully enjoyed, fully lived life, where nothing is suppressed, nothing is denied, you choose on a moment to moment basis, by what seems appropriate. In the moment.

That is balance. Heavenly. [note]

How Cancer Thinks Like A Human

cancer and human beings are similar in behavior and mindsetIf you want to understand cancer...

If you want to understand cancer watch yourself and people you know. You will understand more about the condition than through any other "information" source.

If you think you should only watch other people, it only means you are worse than others...

What is the similarity between cancer and humans?

Cancer is not part of an organization, it doesn"t even know about the organization. It knows only about itself. Cancer doesn"t care about the big picture. Cancer is driven exclusively by its mind, which tells him that he is to reproduce itself exactly the same way as its parents: all new members of the "family" need to be exactly the same, no individuality, no variations, not deviation. The new ones need to have faith, be Jewish, Christina, Hindu, Mohammedan, or whatever the "parents" were, no alterations.

The new cells are trained that it"s a competition out there, and their loyalties need to lie with the family, right or wrong, loyalties are your number one concern. The survival of the "family."

Your concerns are the most important, whether your concerns seem to be about yourself or about a disadvantaged group, or against some "evil wrongdoer", your concerns are the only important thing.

You may be a vegetarian and all others, carnivores, are despicable creatures, and they should surely die!

You preach one-ness only to cover up that you have only one way to live, in isolation and in disharmony with all of it. Your concern or fear overrides the interest of the whole: you"ll just make sure you live comfortably, who cares about all of it?

You have never looked how the whole organism works, what others "really" do, you are just pushing your own agenda: if everyone were like you, wanted what you want, life would be so great... NOT.

I probably could spend a lot more time looking for similarities or even same-ness. You either got it (I doubt it) or not, more won"t make any difference.

Humanity, as a whole, is at odds with everything that was and is there that is not a human creation, like mind. It all comes from blindness, inner and outer blindness.

The human that has a mind can only see what agrees with the mind, not reality. Reality would require of humans to look beyond the mind, with awareness, and be present, moment to moment. That human would learn life through their own experiences instead of being inculturated by others with a major agenda.

A great (or not so great) example to how far humans have gone from being present, from being aware, from bringing consciousness to their actions is the number of people that actually meditate the way meditation is meant to be: with full awareness, to meet themselves, to connect to all-of-it.

At present there are nine people on Planet Earth that actually meditate (out of millions!) when they think they are meditating. The rest of them have experiences that they have read about, or repeat meaningless mantras that hypnotize them into unawareness and stupidity, or go into a sleep-like trans, or try to not think, to mechanically watch the breath... the wrong way is followed by millions. There is only one way to become more aware, and only nine people are on that path.

The rest are pretenders.

What are they hiding? Why do they pretend? Or better said: why do we pretend?

Because other people"s opinion of us became more important to us than Life. It takes courage to return to Life, and maybe it"s not too late. The Avatar State audios increase courage, and peel away layers of not-you. It is not a smooth process, it is not painless. But it"s the fastest known to man, at present.

If you are beginning, I recommend the Harmonize your vibration audio. It will build a solid foundation on which you can build abundance, effective action, love, or brilliance. Sign up to 10 days free Harmonize audio. You can upgrade any time.

Abilities that are not available until your health number is above 30%

When you are not well, you are in survival mode. You live in scarcity. Everything seems to be about you. And not much can change about your life... given the focus (me-me-me) and therefore the questions you ask.

In scarcity everything is an is, and the questions you ask are from that "is". Everything needs to be fixed, and you can"t very well leave things alone: they are wrong, wrong, wrong. Ugh...

You ask why question. Why is this happening to me? Why are you treating me like this? Why can"t I blah blah blah... get rich, understand, be loved, get well... you know those whiny questions that don"t make a difference, they just make you feel even worse.

"They" teach you that you can change your mindset, that you can easily get out of the scarcity mindset, but they are lying. They ignore that your existence is based on your physical well-being (and vice versa!) and unless you get better, nothing will change.

Your whole being comes from your physiology, mostly from your digestive tract, and thus your eating. Bummer, eh?

When you are well, you can start to ask different questions

  • Questions that widen your cone of vision, allow to see wider than the tiny focus, you see things in your peripheral vision,

  • questions that deepen your field of depth perception, see process, see you several steps ahead.

Questions like:
  • What am I missing here?

  • What else could I/should I be asking?

  • What am I not looking at?

  • What is outside of my survival, business as usual narrow cone of vision?

  • What is the cause? What is the effect?

  • What am I resisting?

  • What am I locked in?

The new questions point in the direction that can create new habits, new ways of seeing, new ways of doing things.

But there is a caveat: Even after people getting healthy or healthier (above 30%), changing habits, even though you can, doesn"t come naturally.

Survival mode is most recognized by the narrow cone of vision. Your vision, what you see the size of a tiny circle illuminated by a penlight... Mostly me-me-me.

Narrow cone of vision is much like looking through a peep hole. What comes through is disjointed, because you cannot see the connections. You also hear the same way.

Because things are not connected, they seem separate, or causal. All delusional... In reality everything is connected to everything else.

So once you can, you will need to start training yourself to look at more than what you have been looking. And to look differently than you have been looking.

If you are in my Reclaim your Life coaching program, I"ll know that you are starting to get there, when you get out from behind your own eye balls, and start to see other people, other people"s needs, points of view, not just your own.

I will see from the fact that you"ll start looking at more than just what is right in front of your nose.

Believe it or not, that is the crucial difference between successful people and people who live life like it is a job.

You can play chess with a narrow cone of vision, being able to see only the next step, or you can play by seeing the whole board, see the strategy and intention of the opponent, see your options...

Playing chess/life that wide angle way needs you to have energy, but having energy doesn"t guarantee that you"ll play/live that way.

So health is the condition of spiritual and personal growth, not the result of it, or not all of it.

I realized that all the things a coach can to do for you are ineffective until you have the energy to spare to look at something that is outside of your narrow cone of vision.

And I realized something really important: everyone is talking abut the power of your word, the power of attitude, being, blah blah blah, and none of those people make any difference.

Now it is obvious why. All those things are secondary to being a physical being who has energy to spare.

I have never spoken to a person who had energy to spare...

When you are in survival mode, the mind controls what you say, and every sentence that comes out of there is a conclusion... A way to close down reality. The way to make it an IS.

Nothing open ended ever comes from the mind.

And open end needs energy... but you need that same energy for survival.

Your teachers, your gurus, your politicians, your scientists are the same way. In survival mode.

When you become someone who comes out of that survival mode, the world is your oyster.

My only regret is that getting you well cannot be scaled up... that your getting well needs me to figure out for you what it is that you need, what it is that you can eat. Because it is individual... based on your DNA, your past eating, your developed health issues.

If I could teach it, or put it on a computer, the future of humanity would be vastly different.

Find out your health number...

In addition to your health number, you"ll get all the relevant numbers that show you how and what way you render yourself and your life to go in the opposite direction than you"d want it to go.

Are you intelligent enough to use this tool to change your life?

There is a tool that you could put in your tool box, and get out of tough spots, conquer every issue, and become a happy, wealthy, fulfilled person... It"s asking different questions... to see different paths.

But neither you, nor myself have been trained in it, so we keep on asking the same questions and end up with the same miserable life...

How do you develop the capacity to ask intelligent questions that also alter your reality?

Yesterday I had a long conversation with one of my students. I suddenly had an insight into soul correction, that had been hidden from my view before.

How did I get to that insight? I asked different questions.

Asking different questions is one of the missings for you. On the level of human, this is ultimately the most important factor that the lack of it is holding you back from "ascending" to the next level of evolution where you can create your state of being at will.

Our upbringing, our education, our culture, our society, does not like questions. Especially different questions. Poking questions.

Adults get stumped even with the inane "why" question of the 3-year old. Incessantly asking why of a person who is incapable of hearing why in different ways, is inane.

That "why", by the way, gives you an insight into the hard-wiring of humans: it is looking for causes for everything, as if the world we lived in were two-bit. In a two-bit world there are causes and there are effects. In a chaotic, complex world, like the universe, everything is both a cause and an effect... and the question why is inane... like using tweezers to catch flies.

Asking good questions takes intelligence, but it also takes learning.

Asking good questions takes intelligence, but it also takes learning. If you have no one to learn from, you are condemned to stay two-bit: no chance to ascend.

Each question is like a different filter, a different lens, through which you look at a phenomenon, and each question starts to give you a more rounded, more 360 degree view of reality, instead of the two-dimensional, simplistic view you have based your life on, so far.

So how do you ask better questions? Unless you LEARN and then practice, you won"t.

I am NOT very good asking questions, on a scale of 1-to-10, I am a 3 in asking good questions. And that is the level of being able to ask a good question accidentally. I have a lot of growing to do.

Obviously, some of you will beat me in this arena after just a few hours of learning and practice, and it will make me very happy.

Because it is true, that if you ask good question, you will be successful at whatever the questions are aimed at.
  • Finding the truth by asking different questions, looking at things from radically different angles, radically different distances, probing, testing, etc.

When you can get to the truth without outside help you start becoming an independent individual who pulled themselves out of the influence and agenda of others

  • Finding what is "wrong", what"s the mistake, what"s out of line, so you can correct it. Not fix it... correct it.

  • Finding what you should do with your life, instead of doing nothing, waiting, or forcing a direction that is not a good match for you

  • Unearth Your Truest Desires, meaning, really find out what is important to you, what is so important that you are actually going to go for, instead of pining that someone isn"t serving it up to you on silver platter

  • Define Your Ultimate Vision: a vision for you, a vision for your life, a vision for your purpose, a vision for your relationships, a vision that is entirely doable with what is going for you, with your innate strengths

  • Discover Your True Purpose, the purpose that will trump all the puny urges, all the puny distractions, all the puny fears, because it is more important than life itself

  • Unleash Your Creativity. When you ask new questions, you find new answers... and the new answers will come from a place that you didn"t know you had... that"s creativity... the answers that come from that place beyond what you already know.

  • Accelerate Your Pace of Success... Get out of your own way. Find new context for success. Find new ways of approaching it, other than greed, wanting to, and other scarcity and fear based states of being.

  • Realize Your Full Potential... little by little, question by question, bet closer and closer to become who you were meant to be... The distance between who you are and your potential is vast... but you can close that gap with every new question. Guaranteed.

ask-questionsThe book I am going to use to learn asking better question, by using the questions in the book, is Ken Foster"s Ask And You Will Succeed

Ken Foster"s book contains 1001 questions... a great way to start learning to ask different questions.

Why does it work?

In the normal course of events you keep focusing on the same darn thing, narrow focus, and ask the same darn questions.

Questions are a great way to move your attention, to move your focus.

If you want different results: ask different questions. Expand your cone of vision (big picture + timeline) and remove your fixated focus.

Everyone says: get out of your own way, but no one really says how. This is how.

Sometimes you need outside help to ask different questions. One of the Idea Machine exercises is to ask a famous dead hero of yours 10 questions.

There are many different questions you can ask... And I can pretty much tell you from your questions what is your stuck world view, what is your stuck self-view.

So I was instructing my student, after every round of questions, to change the focus of the questions.

Because unless the focus changes, nothing changes. When the focus changes, maybe even your fundamental world view and your utterly damaging self-view can stop keeping your hostage: poor, bumbling, empty and unfulfilled.

874 BILLION webpages on asking better/different questions haven"t made a dent in the world.

You are so stuck that you cannot ask different questions?

Or are you so afraid to let go of your main self-view (wretched, by the way!) that you don"t want to ask different questions?

What is the truth about you?
