Stairway to heaven or hot air balloon... both can work. You were thinking of a chair lift, weren"t you?

It is, to me, devastating to hear the "bend" of the world to be "against"... and the complete blank when it comes to "for".

This is nothing new. This is the story of humanity: a richness of distinctions what to hate, what to fight, what to be against... and a poverty of colors, distinctions, actions when that fight succeeds.

No one knows. No one is even looking. No one gets that it is more important than air...

You, for example, went through life being willfully ignored, belittled, criticized, forced, humiliated by your parent.

You are now a parent. You have no idea what a good parent would do or be... you only know what not to do... and you either still do it, or you do this and that, but nothing feels right. You have no idea about what is right.

You don"t know how to be a good parent whose child will grow up with self-awareness, self-value, independence, and strength of character.

You cannot teach that, because you cannot really teach what you don"t have. So you teach them to be against... and the cycle continues ad infinitum, indefinitely.

Now, what if, even with this lack of vision, even with this disability you could gradually approach what you could not express: a level of rightness, that would create a life for you, a life for your children, that one could call happy, for lack of a better word.

Because, if you looked carefully, you would see that the vocabulary you have, has lots of words to say bad things, but only a few pie in the sky words about something you"d like.

You have no concept about happy, fulfilled, joyful, even if you can utter these words.

No pathway, they are pie in the sky... like the billionaire ideation (the formation of ideas or concepts.) imaginings of my one-time student.

No pathway. Using the tree analogy: there are roots, no trunk, no branches, and fruits. The "archetype" of the stair lift... where you can get to the top, to the fruit, to what you want, without work, skills, effort, climbing.

The Anna Karenina Principle comes to the rescue of this disabled humanity that doesn"t even have words about the trunk and the branches of the tree... other than some religion-taught Tree of Knowledge b.s.

Or articles, like the seven steps to happiness, wtc... ugh.

I have been trying to bridge that gap... unsuccessfully. Before me Landmark Education tried... but all they managed to do is teach you bromides... trite and unoriginal ideas or remarks, typically intended to soothe or placate. They call those possibilities. Their effect lasts for minutes, not even hours.

I remember when I was in Landmark myself, I stood out like a sore thumb, because my "utterings" of the possibilities I stood for were so off-kilter, so off the mark, so unfamiliar, so non-bromide, that people"s knee jerk reaction was to groan.

For some reason I didn"t, don"t have your disability of no trunk and no branches connecting the roots with the fruits.

So I could be used by the visions, the values, the fruits, the possibilities I spoke to actually guide me, to talk to me, and be my "higher power".

It is clear to me that one aspect of this immense power comes from a high clarity vocabulary. Another requirement is to live, in full awareness of the feelings (NOT emotions!) that are there for a reason: to help you live the best life possible with the least amount of mistakes and mis-steps.

Emotions are meanings. Interpretations. Past based reactions to a feeling or past based reactions to words that carry the memory of a feeling.

When you pay attention to the emotions, not the feelings, you live in the past, in the memory, and not in the present moment. The Playground program is to redirect your attention and your awareness to reality, that also includes feelings, but doesn"t include the emotions. Emotions are not reality... They are past.

Reality is in the present moment... now, and now, and now, and now...

Not in the footprints, but in the walking.

Your Starting Point Measurements provide some clarity about your specific way of not being in the present, and also about how much you are not in the present.

Tai Lopez says in his 67 steps program, that the most reliable predictor of worldly success is your awareness.

When he says it, it is Tree of Knowledge... his own awareness is 8%... not sufficient to be aware about awareness.

I have spent a good part of the past three years observing, measuring, watching the role of awareness in people"s success... It was almost to the day three years ago that I first listened to the 67 steps program where Tai spoke about awareness.

After doing hundreds of Starting Point Measurements, I can see that your awareness number shows to what degree you get your information from the present moment, i.e. reality, inside reality and outside reality.

But even more viscerally, I can see the effects of unawareness in the Playground partner calls: to the degree you are not aware to how you land, that you dominate, belittle, squash, condescend, pontificate, try to teach your partner, put yourself above them, to the same degree you are in other activities in other areas of life: a low awareness number. How you do anything is how you do everything.

Recently I republished a video lesson on the role of "faith" or certainty, its role and significance in your ability to move forward in life, to get out of your distrustful, "I believe when I see it" life position.

Your habitual and stuck position is best expressed with the fireplace analogy: you say: fireplace give me heat, THEN I"ll give you wood.

You want something, that is co-creative, to work before you invest your side of creation, and of course it won"t... it"s co-creative, stupid!

So I am officially giving up on my attempts to take you to "inspiration".

I have started to measure your inspire-able/inspired number... to what degree some idea or value can inspire you... and where you are at now.

I have found that even if I shout it from the rooftop, there is not much to work with. So instead of turning stone to water... I have decided to work with what you have, and have in spades: the feelings to push what you don"t want away .

You can call it negativity if that helps you define it better: the many things  you push away, documented on a sheet of paper, will delineate a path that is strait and narrow, and you would consider a good life.

It"s not a simple task, because the number of ideas, things, activities you reject, refuse, or dislike is in the thousands, and unless you address them each, they will stick around.

What is the enemy of this method?

I have found that honoring reasons, excuses, explaining, justifying are the main culprits in preventing you from calling a spade a spade. From saying: this thing must go, if I want a chance for a good life...

The vibrational level of 200 is a dividing line... Why? because two capacities become available at that level: responsibility and integrity.

Responsibility is the power to say: this is mine. I did this.

No reason, no excuse, no explanation. I did this. That doesn"t mean I like it, that doesn"t mean I am proud of it. It only means that I did it all on my own, and I own it. Unless something changes, I will continue doing this, being this way, having this attitude...

I don"t disown what i did. I don"t fight it. I don"t blame it. I don"t consider it separate from myself. It is mine, and I can do with it as I please. Keep it, let it go, embellish it... whatever. That is how it works. I am not a victim of it, and I don"t blame others for giving me this, or making me do it. I have it, it is mine, and I need no one"s permission to own it, and do with it as I see it fit.

I can bring it to the light of day, observe it, examine it, but more importantly respect it.

Respect means: seeing it for what it is. A behavior, an action, an attitude, a way of being that will either support me having a good life or not.

I can bring it to the attention of consciousness, and ask consciousness to see the consequences of keeping it... consciousness can see cause and effect probably better than myself.

And once consciousness knows about it... I let consciousness handle it... All the while I make sure I don"t deny it, don"t fight it, don"t blame it... I allow it to be.

Integrity, is of course the other half of the "battle" for a good life.

Integrity is the power to honor your word as your Self. To the degree you do, to the same degree you can be responsible, to the same degree you have integrity, to the same degree you have a chance for the good life.

Of course, it may take some work to distinguish between chattering, trying out words, and YOUR WORD.

Your word, what you"ll honor as yourself, is sacred, not some babble.

The more you speak the less of it is WORD... you probably use lots of speak to avoid having to have integrity, avoid having to honor anything or anyone... including yourself.

Smoke screen...

The path "above" 200 vibration is much like climbing a rope: pull with responsibility, push with integrity.

All the way as high as you go... potentially all the way to heaven.

My responsibility number and my integrity number are both at 70%. I am starting to see what are the pieces that would take me to 80%, Not incidentally, what a surprise, Rob Brezsny"s horoscope is intimating that step... for me.
VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22): Torre Mayor is one of the tallest skyscrapers in Mexico City. When workers finished its construction in 2003, it was one of the world"s most earthquake-proof buildings, designed to hold steady during an 8.5-level temblor. Over the course of 2019, Virgo, I"d love to see you erect the metaphorical equivalent of that unshakable structure in your own life. The astrological omens suggest that doing so is quite possible. And the coming weeks will be an excellent time to launch that project or intensify your efforts to manifest it.

For me, to build an unshakable structure of health for myself is the next step... I have had only 40% integrity in this area... and the results have been, how shall I say it, very unpleasant.

Now that I have given up the drama that I am dying... it is time to get ready to live... and it is better with health than without.

I did what I did... no one made me do it... lol... and set out, step by tiny step, what I am going to chuck, eliminate, and what I am going to add... Simple, not necessarily easy. The strait and narrow in action.

Do you spend time with yourself? Or are you trying to be busy all the time? What does that say about you?

Your soul, your spirit, knows right from wrong

If it only had an opportunity to talk to you, to be heard, you"d probably consider stopping doing the wrongs that you do, if only to have peace inside, to have less tension, to have more joy.

The two selves we all have are twins separated at birth... one grows according to DNA, the other according to outside influences... nature vs. nurture.

The further "nurture" makes the one twin (self) go, the worse the relationship becomes, the more, whenever they get to see each other, the one hates the other. Which one is doing the hating, you ask?

Quite counter intuitive, but it"s the bad self that hates the good self.

Why? There is no hate in the DNA... there may be anger, but hate is an "over time" phenomenon... not just a flare-up. You sustain it.

You hate the good one because to you it feels that it is trying to keep you from all the fun you are having judging, mooching, lazing, pontificating, pointing fingers, killing life and others" aliveness.

You want to be right... you want to look good, you want to win, you want to dominate, you want to justify, and you don"t want to own it at all... they/it made you do it.

The further the two selves grow, the less desire to talk to each other... the louder the mind gets, the more you crave outside distraction: TV in the background, busy job, music, texting, youtube, playing games. Anything to avoid facing the good one and see the pain and innocence in its eyes.

Integrity is being true to yourself... to the DNA twin... the good one. The one you don"t even want to look at... because you don"t want to feel bad about yourself. And you don"t. You suffer either way... by the way.

The only "escape" from feeling bad about yourself is to increase your integrity, and start to be true to yourself... but that means starting on the path of strait and narrow... letting go of the little pleasures of dominating, pontificating, lazing off, pushing others" buttons, justifying your shittiness, and wanting to win every argument.

I know one person whose integrity number is 10%. She does good work... so why is the integrity number so low?

She talks.

Huh?

She talks a lot. She will explain to you all the things that are right, and she will sound like an angel... But all that talk is a smoke screen: what the one self does has not connection to what she says: she talks a good talk...

What does ultimately give it away?

Really good question. She has this little laugh that she peppers her talking with. that little laugh gives it away.

Even if I could not muscle test integrity, that would show me the inner tension between the selves.

You know who else has that little laugh? My archenemy, Christie Marie Sheldon.

Not everybody has this little laugh... I have an embarrassed laugh... that is an integrity issue indicator, too.

Sometimes it is the tone of voice gives it away... you can hear the inauthenticity in that.

Inauthenticity? What is that?

Another word for the distance between the two selves is called inauthenticity: postulating/intimating one thing, being/doing another...

When you have this huge distance between the selves, you are afraid of being alone. You want to fall asleep fast. You dread a moment when your mind isn"t filled with stuff... you fall asleep at the drop of the hat... or ponder and fret over little things, big things... never allowing the two selves to meet.

You may self-medicate... you may go to the doctor to escape yourself... and you do a botched job at everything, because even paying attention, full attention to what you are supposed to do, is fraught with the danger of the two selves, accidentally, meeting.

Your TLB is 1, you are cowardly... craving companionship, shunning your own company...

Back in 1991 I signed up to a week long communication course in Georgia. They took a video of me answering basic questions about myself, my name, where I lived and with whom.

They showed our videos on day two of the course. I was appalled. I was terrified, defiant, ready to kill on that video. So that is how I am... From there it was a little bit of going deeper, and after hitting bottom, a long long way to go up and up and up... all the way of today.

My vibration was 100 then. It"s above 900 now. The "trick" was to hit bottom.

I could have run after seeing myself on that video... and someone in my group did just that... ended up in the psych ward of some hospital.

I didn"t run. I didn"t hide. It was horrible, but I didn"t die, I didn"t hide, I didn"t get busy. I stared... Hey, that is what it takes... Stay present to the ugly... stare at it... allow it to work on you... Really.

Here is a really good article for you to hear another way what I am saying... the article deals largely with the visible, the part of the iceberg that is above the water line, while I teach the "under the water line" dynamics, where you have some power...

But regardless, even though it gives you no access to effective action, it is good to know what is above the water line... so please read and enjoy.

Before You Can Be With Others, First Learn to Be Alone

In 1840, Edgar Allan Poe described the "mad energy" of an ageing man who roved the streets of London from dusk till dawn. His excruciating despair could be temporarily relieved only by immersing himself in a tumultuous throng of city-dwellers. "He refuses to be alone," Poe wrote. He "is the type and the genius of deep crime … He is the man of the crowd."

Like many poets and philosophers through the ages, Poe stressed the significance of solitude. It was "such a great misfortune", he thought, to lose the capacity to be alone with oneself, to get caught up in the crowd, to surrender one"s singularity to mind-numbing conformity. Two decades later, the idea of solitude captured Ralph Waldo Emerson"s imagination in a slightly different way: quoting Pythagoras, he wrote: "In the morning, – solitude; … that nature may speak to the imagination, as she does never in company." Emerson encouraged the wisest teachers to press upon their pupils the importance of "periods and habits of solitude", habits that made "serious and abstracted thought" possible.

In the 20th century, the idea of solitude formed the center of Hannah Arendt"s thought. A German-Jewish émigré who fled Nazism and found refuge in the United States, Arendt spent much of her life studying the relationship between the individual and the polis. For her, freedom was tethered to both the private sphere – the vita contemplativa – and the public, political sphere – the vita activa. She understood that freedom entailed more than the human capacity to act spontaneously and creatively in public. It also entailed the capacity to think and to judge in private, where solitude empowers the individual to contemplate her actions and develop her conscience, to escape the cacophony of the crowd – to finally hear herself think.

In 1961, The New Yorker commissioned Arendt to cover the trial of Adolf Eichmann, a Nazi SS officer who helped to orchestrate the Holocaust. How could anyone, she wanted to know, perpetrate such evil? Surely only a wicked sociopath could participate in the Shoah. But Arendt was surprised by Eichmann"s lack of imagination, his consummate conventionality. She argued that while Eichmann"s actions were evil, Eichmann himself – the person – "was quite ordinary, commonplace, and neither demonic nor monstrous. There was no sign in him of firm ideological convictions." She attributed his immorality – his capacity, even his eagerness, to commit crimes – to his "thoughtlessness". It was his inability to stop and think that permitted Eichmann to participate in mass murder.

Just as Poe suspected that something sinister lurked deep within the man of the crowd, Arendt recognized that: "A person who does not know that silent intercourse (in which we examine what we say and what we do) will not mind contradicting himself, and this means he will never be either able or willing to account for what he says or does; nor will he mind committing any crime, since he can count on its being forgotten the next moment." Eichmann had shunned Socratic self-reflection. He had failed to return home to himself, to a state of solitude. He had discarded the vita contemplativa, and thus he had failed to embark upon the essential question-and-answering process that would have allowed him to examine the meaning of things, to distinguish between fact and fiction, truth and falsehood, good and evil.

"It is better to suffer wrong than to do wrong," Arendt wrote, "because you can remain the friend of the sufferer; who would want to be the friend of and have to live together with a murderer? Not even another murderer." It is not that unthinking men are monsters, that the sad sleepwalkers of the world would sooner commit murder than face themselves in solitude. What Eichmann showed Arendt was that society could function freely and democratically only if it were made up of individuals engaged in the thinking activity – an activity that required solitude. Arendt believed that "living together with others begins with living together with oneself".

But what if, we might ask, we become lonely in our solitude? Isn"t there some danger that we will become isolated individuals, cut off from the pleasures of friendship? Philosophers have long made a careful, and important, distinction between solitude and loneliness. In The Republic (c380 BCE), Plato proffered a parable in which Socrates celebrates the solitary philosopher. In the allegory of the cave, the philosopher escapes from the darkness of an underground den – and from the company of other humans – into the sunlight of contemplative thought. Alone but not lonely, the philosopher becomes attuned to her inner self and the world. In solitude, the soundless dialogue "which the soul holds with herself" finally becomes audible.

Echoing Plato, Arendt observed: "Thinking, existentially speaking, is a solitary but not a lonely business; solitude is that human situation in which I keep myself company. Loneliness comes about … when I am one and without company" but desire it and cannot find it. In solitude, Arendt never longed for companionship or craved camaraderie because she was never truly alone. Her inner self was a friend with whom she could carry on a conversation, that silent voice who posed the vital Socratic question: "What do you mean when you say …?" The self, Arendt declared, "is the only one from whom you can never get away – except by ceasing to think."

Arendt"s warning is well worth remembering in our own time. In our hyper-connected world, a world in which we can communicate constantly and instantly over the internet, we rarely remember to carve out spaces for solitary contemplation. We check our email hundreds of times per day; we shoot off thousands of text messages per month; we obsessively thumb through Twitter, Facebook and Instagram, aching to connect at all hours with close and casual acquaintances alike. We search for friends of friends, ex-lovers, people we barely know, people we have no business knowing. We crave constant companionship.

But, Arendt reminds us, if we lose our capacity for solitude, our ability to be alone with ourselves, then we lose our very ability to think. We risk getting caught up in the crowd. We risk being "swept away", as she put it, "by what everybody else does and believes in" – no longer able, in the cage of thoughtless conformity, to distinguish "right from wrong, beautiful from ugly". Solitude is not only a state of mind essential to the development of an individual"s consciousness – and conscience – but also a practice that prepares one for participation in social and political life. Before we can keep company with others, we must learn to keep company with ourselves.

The path to self-love... a totally different take... a valid one.

Some 35 years ago I read Rav Hillel"s few lines, If I am not for myself, who will be for me?

If I am not for me, who will be for me? And when I am for myself alone, what am I? And if not now, then when?

it flew in the face of the culture I was raised in, Socialism... I cried, and started to attempt to integrate it.

It took me 35 years.

It"s the hardest of any journey to self-love, self care.

It was for me, and it may be for you... It is easier when you have a teacher.

The main job of a teacher is to hold the dirt while you are digging for gold. The gold is there, but unless someone is there to hold the dirt, the dirt falls back into the hole and covers the gold.

I just listened to a TED talk, and it lays out an amazing and simple way to take care of yourself...

Watch it. Weep if you must. And then do what it asks you to do.

If I am not for me, who will be for me? And when I am for myself alone, what am I? And if not now, then when?

Should you become a client? Would I even accept you as a client?

For decades one of my sore spots was that people refused to serve me, even though I paid them.

I remember saying to myself: my money is not good enough for you? and wept.

I had no idea how I "accomplished" that... in 20/20 hindsight it is still a little spotty.

What wasn"t clear to me, never even occurred to me, how my attitude effected the service provider. My "To what degree you think of yourself:" starting point measure was, at the time, 70%. From my behavior I would have guessed it was higher.

Mainly I overrode what they said. I argued, I knew better, I acted with contempt...

What I didn"t know then is that being a service provider needs to be a win, or no service.

A customer who is not happy is a drag on an provider, and not worth the little (or even a lot of) money they pay.

I was that kind of customer...

By 1987 I started to see more of the invisible dynamic that was running my life, that kept me an angry victim, that made me feel entitled, etc.

With that my vibration rose, even without getting fully conscious and aware of how I used to be, my attitude changed, and life got better for me. Because no man is an island, and I did need help.

One of the most important criteria, it seems, is whether the provider is allowed to make a difference or not.

One of my measurements in the Starting Point Measurements [note]1. your vibration (1-1000):
2. your overall intelligence, emotional, intellectual, spiritual, body, relationship, etc.:
3. the number of spiritual capacities you have:
4. your soul correction (your machine): https://www.yourvibration.com/sc
5. do you have attachments?
6. the level of your health (1-100):
7. the level of your cell hydration (1-100):
8. your relationship to feedback and instruction:
9. The level of discomfort you are willing to allow w/o trying to fix it. This is your TLB score...
10. The size of your vocabulary: the number of words you can use accurately:
11. To what degree you think of yourself:
12. # of fixed mindset:
13. Ambition:
14. Desire:
15. Degree of inauthenticity overall:
16. Level of integrity 1-100:
17. how enslaved are you to memes? (what percentage of your life is run by memes?)
18. do you have a bridge between your precious "I" and your actual I? your level of delusion
19. Recommendations:

[/note] is your response, your attitude regarding feedback and instruction. I used to answer that with the category from a book I read: "smart, foolish, evil" but I abandoned that categorization: I didn"t like what I was getting.

I became more interested in what someone does when they don"t like the instruction or the feedback. A lot of people, after the initial emotional state, come back and do what they are asked to do...

If I can tell them: read this book and without justification, without explanation, they go and read it. They may feel reluctant, resistant, angry, but because I asked them they say: OK and do it.

In 1987, green and still with a huge attitude, I signed up a year long training program: Team, Management, Leadership. Why? I didn"t have any reason, I just liked to get trained.

Four of the five weekends of the of the course were in California. I remember sitting at the airports by myself: I was a lone ranger... unaware that my loneliness was a result of my own attitude... [note]That became conscious for me only some 20 years later, when I created a collage to deal with this seeming reality: I am alone. I wrote about it, I think, in another post. The top picture. (the bear on one side, on the top of a tree, and the multitude of penguins, and people, on the other side) is the collage that allowed me to see. And for the first time I managed to take responsibility for my reality. I am alone by choice. Duh.[/note]

One of the assignments from the program was to read the Science Fiction by Colin Wilson: The Mind Parasite.

I bought the book, it was maybe five bucks. And it took me a whole year to read it. I could get through 2-3 pages, and that was that. It was the hardest book I had read thus far. 10-15 new words on every page... It took me 20-30 minutes to get through 2-3 pages. But at some point efforting was replaced by genuine wonder. It was still work, but now it was discovery.

I found out that not many of the people in the program read it. But it counted for 4-5 years of instruction: learning something from fiction, from immersing in fiction, is incredibly effective.

Roy Williams says in today"s Monday Morning Memo, quoting
"Fiction is usually seen as escapist entertainment…But it"s hard to reconcile the escapist theory of fiction with the deep patterns we find in the art of storytelling… Our various fictional worlds are– on the whole– horrorscapes. Fiction may temporarily free us from our troubles, but it does so by ensnaring us in new sets of troubles– in imaginary worlds of struggle and stress and mortal woe… Fiction also seems to be more effective at changing beliefs than nonfiction, which is designed to persuade through argument and evidence. Studies show that when we read nonfiction, we read with our shields up. We are critical and skeptical. But when we are absorbed in a story, we drop our intellectual guard."
– Jonathan Gottschall

Today"s whole memo is to illustrate this idea... that story is real, immersive, and instructive.

I have learned a lot more from fiction than from training, from non-fiction, from coaching. And the cost of it was, of course, a lot lower.

On the other hand, I probably would not have learned that much from novels and maybe even movies had I not also learned distinctions from the more expensive, brainy activities of the other.

I have The Mind Parasites in the members area, and according to my statistics, my people haven"t been reading it.

Back in 1987, my accurate vocabulary measure in English was 700. Today it is 3500... With an accurate 700 vocabulary it was a difficult read. It is harder to read than most non-fiction, but because of the story, it is a lot more effective.

I am going to make a new rule: I won"t take on any new client who doesn"t, at least, attempt to read the book.

You don"t have to be a genius to become a client... if you don"t do what I ask you to do... I probably can"t help you.

Holographic reading: the secret of billionaires...

Holographic learning: the only way to human being level

I am reading a book I don"t like. I was told by Source to read it... and I think I found the one sentence (so far) in the 700 page book that I needed to read. One sentence...

Reading, when it creates a world, a rich world to live in, to accomplish in, is holographic. Each book sharpens some area, fills in the missing or fuzzy details.

This one sentence has been that kind of a sentence. It was like a Flash of lightening.

The sentence was, I am paraphrasing, "I asked Tristan was she happy. and he said, not especially, but he thinks this is due to she is Hungarian and they are not a merry race. And he has a point..." ((The book is Neal Stephenson"s in name... The Rise and fall of DODO, don"t read it.))

Wooohooo

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KUCyjDOlnPU

Like a flashlight, my consciousness is now looking for signs/patterns of mood... disposition: merry, gloomy, angry, something I have never considered, never really noticed... as if it didn"t exist.

Suddenly I am noticing. And you know what? It is significant.

Disposition

I binged on a Russian series over the weekend. This guy loves two women. One is a great match for him, the other...

Our guy is a happy person ready for fun... lives like fun. The other woman is gloomy. A perfect match with the gloomy other guy who loves her.

Hm.

I probably lean towards gloomy. But have a capacity for fun. Rowdy fun. Like dancing and joking.

I am going to add vocabulary words to add more color, more shades, more details into my hologram. I am excited. Wow.

Something happened, something opened up for me, because this, mood, disposition is not the only area where I am starting to see more details.

It"s as if someone had raised the level of lighting... opened the shutters...

Exhilarating.

Let"s not jinx it... lol.

Until you have an interconnected, holographic picture of reality that is largely (30%) truthful, all your learning will be unlearning. Correcting. Exchanging myth for truth.

30% is a lot. The best books have 10% truth value or under. The books written by known and renown scientists...

And these books also are fragmented: their authors don"t have that interconnected, holographic picture of reality.

They are like one of my clients who has a tendency to focus in on one thing, and dig. Deep. He is in business, and his mistakes are business mistakes. But the mistakes could be in any area of life.

The skill is to alternate among three modes of looking:

  • looking at the big picture where you can see proportions, contexts. These is seeing the forest.

  • The second way to look is to see the timeline. See the process. To see where things are going. In time.

  • And the third say to look is the shortest amount of time, the thing you are working on. The project.

For example: I was eating New Zealand lamb for a few months. Now my supply has dried up [note]Jet.com won"t deliver fresh groceries to Syracuse NY, darn![/note] and I am forced to eat American Lamb. Since last Wednesday (it is Monday only! Five days![/note] has already killed my gut flora... my probiotics are needed again.

Why? Because American farms, American supermarkets, "generously" feed homegrown lamb with antibiotics, because: guess, they feed them grains which makes them sick... and makes me sick. The label says: organic, grass fed, but it is a lie. Every label in American supermarkets is a lie. Every single one of them.

But without me looking all those three ways at what is happening, without having enough truth and enough details in my holographic picture of food manufacturing in the world and especially in the United States of "let"s make people sick" I would not have checked if I needed probiotics, and would get really sick... fast, and would not know what hit me.

Here is another example: I am watching this TED talk video ((

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=stc5MUIloP0

)) on converting desert sand into soil... soil meaning: stuff grows in it. Attempts of turning the deserts of the planet into greed have been around but of all the methods this feels the most effective and most cost-effective.

But the powers that be are not interested.

Scarcity serves their purpose: keeping humanity in victim mode, effect mode, not even thinking of self-determination.

And here is a holographic shift of focus: I go from looking at the planet, that is getting uncomfortably warmer. Now I look at you: your cells are drying out. Your inner "terrain" is getting less and less fertile. You are able to thrive less and less... You live in scarcity, your attention is on yourself, and you have scarcely any attention left to get something done.

Do you see the connection? The same picture, from two different vantage points.

If we add the third, temporality, time, we see that the ones that are not narrowed into their own little limited perspective because they have their cells hydrated, are going to move onto the next century, the next evolutionary phase of humanity.

This is what I am talking about.

If you want to know where you are standing, the 16 different measures of the Starting Point Measurements will set you on the map... where you are and which way you need to go, if you want to become part of the next evolutionary phase of humanity.

And here is an insight from the Russian Netflix series, worth for you to have read this article: when you don"t live like your life is in danger, when you don"t live in scarcity, which is actually an attitude, then you can bring creativity, joy, inventiveness to life.

When you can say: it"s all in a day"s work, and don"t even have to say "honest work", and you can bring caring to your work, it is heaven on earth. I mean it.

But as long as you live in scarcity, as long as you have to look at everything through yourself... your life is hell. Hell on earth. Same exact circumstances... nothing else changed. Just your experience and therefore your actions.

In one paradigm you want to make as much as possible with as little work as possible, in the other, where work is part of life and not a negation of life, you are joyfully investing as much as you got... for who wouldn"t?

I have observed that stingy students, stingy clients, all suffer from the effects of stinginess. Because that is how it is.

One way stinginess shows up is in your integrity measure... in your empowering or disempowering context, and also in your actions... But ultimately there is only one loser: you.

What is the shelf life of your word?

transcript:

Okay. This is part two for whatever day it is. Thursday. So what I said in the previous segment is that until you can tell the difference between what you say and what the machine says, there"s no chance that you can change your context. Now, it"s a little bit deeper than that. Because ... and that"s why without integrity nothing works. It"s an integrity issue. Now, we consider integrity in a very pedestrian way. You don"t cheat, you don"t lie, you keep the Ten Commandments and all that morality issue. But, that is not what integrity really is.

Integrity is that, but it is just the bottom of integrity. The real integrity has something to do with word. So the Bible starts with God created light. That was the first step of creation. Or, I don"t know. First there was the word, I think it says. That"s the first line of the Bible and I am not a Bible scholar. I am not a Bible reading person, so forgive me if I am a little sloppy here. So first, there was the word. And then, with the word, God created the light. It wasn"t a visible light, it was all the light. Everything is light. If you consider light a wave, then God created wave. And if you consider light photons, i.e., particles, then God created particles. God created the light.

Now, what does it have to do with integrity? You are no God; right? Well, if you really look, you pretend that you are God. You say things like, oh, I am a spiritual being having a human experience. Yeah, maybe. The most important thing is that this leg of evolution where you acquire the main and fundamental capacity of Godness, if there"s such a thing, Godness, or if it"s a word, Godness, then what you need to do is have a strong relationship to your word. A strong relationship between your self and your word. So the wording that Landmark gives it: integrity is honoring your word as your self. Not yourself but your Self. Which means what you"re creating with your word all the time, all the time, all the time, all the time, and all the time is your Self. Because who is going to play the role in the world? Who is going to decide what"s the context? Who is going to decide what is important and what isn"t? Who is going to decide what to do is your Self. Now, you either have a self or you don"t. Most of you don"t.

You either have a capacity to create self or you don"t. About 40 percent of humanity is born without the capacity to create self. So that much of abot equality. We are not created equal. We are not. Some of you were not created with the capacity. Why? I don"t know. But expect ... I read somewhere yesterday, I should have copied it, that expecting that different people at different places of the earth would follow the exact path that was described or that created the modern human is a little bit delusional unless it was really 100 percent in our DNA from the get go, which kind of indicates creation; right? The people who are born this place and that place, are not going to be the same. They cannot.

And even if they were kind of born the same but they were born in a group of people where the nice people were eaten and the evil people had dinner, the survivors of that group were the evil people who were not the good ones because the good ones never had the chance to procreate.

So anyway, it"s going into uncharted territory. I apologize for that.

So anyway, so you need to create a relationship between your word and who you consider yourself to be, who you are going to honor yourself to be. The self. The self that you say self expression, that"s the self that you express. Self respect. It"s the self that you are going to respect. Self esteem. That"s the self that you are going to esteem. Okay? Not the jumping jack, moronic, inconsistent numb nut that you are being right now. If you are not a numb nut, don"t take it on. Don"t tell me that I told you that you are a numb nut. I don"t know. Lots of people are going to listen to this audio. So don"t get offended. That is going to put you back clearly to you are listening to what?

So there are two kinds of words in your head. Two. One is coming from the machine. The machine is created by society and just for credibility has added some words from your particular history. Okay? You"re black, you are descendant of slaves, you are Kurd, you are a second class citizen, whatever. Right? That"s all the machine. You never actually sat down and said, "I am going to think that. That is going to make me exactly how I want to be, miserable." No, you never did that. Nobody would do that. Your self interest will not go in the direction of misery. Okay? It"s not. It"s not the nature of self interest.

And then there"s the other kind of word, and most of you never have, that is the result of pondering, that"s the result of decision. You consciously, the conscious consciousness, decides to say that. So when I say you mostly never say that, I actually mean it. Most people have never thought, used their brain for thinking, ever. Not even for a moment. Now, figuring out a mathematical equation; okay? Or whether you are going to have money for a new outfit or not, I don"t consider that, in this context, thinking. I consider, in this context, thinking, when you think out who to be. What would be the right action? Okay? Instead of listening to the thousands of voices in your head that act as advisors, and then act on it, you are going to actually sit down and look deep and wide and decide who you want to be. Because what you want to do will come from who you want to be.

So, if you have never done that, don"t feel bad about it. Nobody taught you how to do that. You actually think you do that. You read a meme and say that"s who I want to be. But then you find out that your actions are not consistent with that. Now why? Because there are thousands of voices of the machine while there is one, sometimes, a little bit, sometimes, for some of you, thin little voice that you invented. So the competition is fierce. The sea of voices drown out the little voice that you said, that"s who I want to be.

But that doesn"t mean that you can"t be who you want to be. But not until something happens. Not until you do something. So the two things you need to do is strengthen the voice, your voice, do I want to be that. And the second one, you need to separate yourself and insulate yourself from the sea of voices that"s the machine.

Now, what do you need to do first? I mean, ultimately, I suggest that you start distinguishing the enemy. The reason Sun Tzu"s Art of War has been favorite to thinking people, thinking people, not having thoughts people, for thinking people, is because he distinguished principles of war. Principles of winning. So in the principle Art of War, Sun Tzu says if you don"t know your enemy you are already automatically a loser; right? So before you build up your army, which in this instance, it would be strengthening your voice.

So you need to know your enemy. So in the Playground, we don"t learn to create strong statements of self. That"s not what we do there. We could, but it would be lost in the sea of voices. Instead, we do one thing and one thing only. We distinguish the enemy. The more readily you recognize the enemy, the more readily you recognize that that voice is not you speaking. The more readily you can differentiate yourself and separate yourself. The more readily it is noise instead of something that advises you, the more ready you are going to be to declare ... that"s the official word. Declare who you want to be and then hope or be able to keep it in existence alive, operative, working.

Ultimately, you cannot get rid of your default context. I always hoped that you could, but no, you can"t. It"s almost embedded in muscle memory and everywhere. But you can counter it when you have distinguished the art ... no, sorry. When you are artful and masterful at recognizing what"s not you and what"s not your voice and when you speak, declare, and bring persistence and insistence and consistence to keeping that in existence, alive.

See, the shelf life of a declaration without all this foundation work is about two and a half seconds. It becomes a bragging right but not an operational statement. I have a lot of people who walk around declaring themselves this and declaring themselves as that, but how do I know that they are full of crap is that their actions are not consistent with what they say. You see, when you have a strong relationship between your word, your self, and your actions, that"s when you have started on the path of becoming a human being. A human being is the God level of humans.

At this point, there is, I think there"s not even one. I am close but not hundred percent consistent; okay? So that"s where we are going. And that"s where it"s heaven; okay?

Now, is it heaven half way through? Yeah, kind of. A lot of the time, yes. All the time? No. No. All the time is when everything that you hear in your head is noise and your actions are always consistent with who you declared yourself to be. So how do I know I am not there? Because all this series of illnesses and misfortunes and accidents came to me as a punishment because I haven"t been a hundred percent true to my word. I haven"t honored my word as my self. I was cheating on my diet. I was comfortable. I was this, I was that. Okay? So I said I would do something and I didn"t. Okay? So I am now awakened with a swift, swift kick in the butt and I am getting back on the pony.

All right. So you need to do the foundation work first. You can"t be where I am. This is the result of 40 plus years of work; okay? There"s no jump in reality. Okay? Thank you.

If you want to start, start with the playground. It"s cheap and it"s somewhat intense. Two calls a week, or one call a week, and some weeks two calls. But that"s all. Okay? Thank you. Bye.

Can you achieve perfection? Can you always do the right thing? Is there such a thing as perfect integrity? Can you have 100% truth value?

As you may know, I live by principles, here is one of the principles... more to come in this article:

It is hard to be silently brilliant: lots of thoughts occur when you open your mouth.

But not all thoughts that occur are brilliant... not in a person who isn"t opening his mouth... ((in the cave of your mind everything feels like a brilliant idea. Or looking at it another way: I had two boy friends who were alcoholics. They both fancied themselves profound and brilliant when they were drunk... lol.)) or who are saying the same things over and over again.

Things not worth thinking are also things not worth saying but you don"t know that until you hear the echo. ((This also includes writing that is published... Unfortunately thousands upon thousands of author wannabes, second handers publish crap, but that is another issue entirely. Just like my old van-mates talk and talk and talk about things not worth saying, these wannabes do that in writing...))

What happens when you speak?

Humans didn"t quite become humans until they had something to say. But speaking doesn"t make someone human: having something worth to say does.

70% of humanity, more than five billions people have nothing worth to say.

This could not have been the proportion always... but this is it now.
There are two kinds of people: people who have something to say, and people who have to say something.

I am not ranting... I have no problem with people talking and talking and talking. I am, maybe, having a problem you not seeing the difference. You not being able to tell whether you have something to say, or you have to say something.

Many people may have something to say, maybe not much, but they choose to just talk... because if you don"t talk people look at you funny.

Everyone can hear that you have nothing to say, you know you have nothing to say, but you keep talking.

The quality of your speaking reflects the quality of your insides... your coherence, your knowledge or the lack of it, your humility or lack of it, your vocabulary, your clarity, your vibration.

But saying something worth saying is a tremendous risk... you can become vulnerable... you might be mistaken... so you choose to not say it, you choose to lie, you choose to just make noise.

The further your two selves, the public self and the real self are from each other, the more inauthentic you are, the more you have to hide, and the less things you can say that are worth saying.

The less you have to pretend, the closer the two selves are, the more integrity you have.

The most important part of integrity is about the selves. The invisible part... the part that your speaking gives away.

The further away the two selves are, the less integrity you have, the unhappier you are. Because your two selves cannot love each other... and you cannot love your life.

You also know another main principle of my life:

when something isn"t working in your life (big or small) there is something you don"t know.

Goes hand in hand with another saying:

without integrity nothing works.

So when something doesn"t work in my life, in my health, in my money, in my mood, in my fulfillment, the first place I look is my integrity.

Here is the integrity statement... swiped from Landmark Education, I found it on the web and edited it.
  • Level one: Integrity is Nothing hidden, being truthful and honest, doing complete work, working from an empowering context, and doing very well what you do; doing it as it was meant to be done or better, and without cutting corners.

  • Level two: Integrity is being true to your values, standards and ideals.

  • Level three: Integrity is HONORING your WORD as your Self

And when anything is not working, or not working well, you have a self-examination to start with: where is my integrity "out".

  • Most people are habitual liars... for them this is easy: they lied.

  • Many people make the mistake of doing things from a context that is not empowering... dutiful, homework attitude, more interested in the result than in the process, want it to come out perfect from the get-go. All integrity issues.

  • Many people, especially the chronically judgmental ones aren"t true to their professed values and standards

  • And almost no one is honoring their word as their Self.

When you have a public self different from your private self, you cannot be "in" integrity... you are always out of integrity. And life cannot work for you...

In my experience this is the work one needs to do to get from wherever you are to human being level.

It"s hard to believe, but your fundamental need to fulfill your own expectations of yourself are in line with that integrity statement.

And even if you fulfill others" expectations of you, unless you fulfill your own expectations of yourself, you"ll be always miserable... deadened... at best: blah.

The world, others, expect you to make life good for them. All the moral, ethical, legal rules and regulations are about you fulfilling others" expectations of you.

In fact, others do not want you to do, feel, be anything that interferes with that.

If Moses, Jesus, Muhammad, or the Buddha were alive today, they would be in prison... or killed, or hunted. Because their integrity would interfere with what the "people" and the governments want people to be: sheep. Consumption. Wars. Hate. Taking sides.

Your personal integrity takes courage.

I was lucky as a child: my mother didn"t want me, and therefore didn"t pay much attention to me, except to punish me: she simply beat me. No words.

I wasn"t given words to tell me what is good and what is bad... So I made my own decisions about what gets me beaten... Some are so bad and so deep, I haven"t been able to uproot them.

Here are the rules I feel my mother wanted me to live by:
  • Taking care of yourself is bad

  • Asking for anything for yourself is bad

  • Asking questions is bad

  • Being alive is bad

  • She never noticed that I was a high achiever... so I was safe doing that.

  • She didn"t beat me for reading... so I was safe doing that.

  • She didn"t know I did a lot of thinking and pondering... so she didn"t beat me for that.

  • I was beaten around food a lot... so I am uncertain and waffling about food.

  • I was berated about sexuality... so I became confused.

  • And I was always beaten when I asked for money.

And I could bring a ton more examples of the messy inside I have.

Finding the Self, knowing what I like, what I want, who I am was near impossible inside that mess.

You don"t have to be beaten to have a messy inside, conflicting ideals, ambivalence.

When two interests conflict, confusion results.

I have used the "it"s hard to be silently brilliant" principle of mine to get some clarity and certainty about who I am, what I like and what I want.

I used the "without integrity nothing works" to hunt for areas where I haven"t chosen myself

I used "when something isn"t working, there is something you don"t know" to know when I need to start hunting for what i don"t know. And then tell the truth about it.

As you may know, humanity, 50% of humanity is infected with a microscopic (tiny) mite.

I have been conscious of that for a few years now, and have decided to fight it, for humanity and definitely for myself.

It"s cost me a lot of money, a lot of sleepless nights.

I have tested 30 different chemicals in these few years.

In the past few months it looked as if I was starting to win the war...

While I was sick last month (food poisoning) I ran out of the remedy I was testing and what seemed to produce a miraculous decimation of the mite population.

I decided to watch what happens...

And despite of not taking that remedy, the numbers were still going down... WTF?!

Turns out that after I watched a youtube video some 2-3 months ago... unrelated to the mite infestation, I started take a mineral the video recommended, an essential mineral that in all my muscle tests NEVER tested deficient. But the video said that it is suppressed by fashionable vitamins and minerals, so I HAD TO test it for myself by taking it.

My lifeless hair turned curly and springy again. Much of the gray turned back into black.

And the mites: it seems that they are dropping dead...

I am mortified that I have been wrong, that I have assumed one thing to be true that wasn"t. I ALMOST sold my idea to many people... and it would have been selling a lie.

Each person has a "preferred" way to pay the piper.
  • Some pay with their finances

  • Some pay with their health/weight

  • Some pay with their relationships

  • Some pay with their depression and unhappiness

Most pay with all of the above.

I get sick. I spill my drink over my computer keyboard. I forget to record important calls. I am afraid to market my best products and lose money. And my little brother doesn"t want to talk to me...

So yeah, I am paying through my nose. These are just the past month"s payments...

Life works not through doing the right steps... but through correcting, diligently, persistently the wrong steps.

That is the nature of Life... that is the nature of integrity as well.

There is no such thing as perfection... so don"t be afraid to make mistakes. Make them, observe the results and then correct correct and correct again.

That is life.

I remember reading the book Choose: life or death, and the scientist, Carey Reams of RBTI ((The Reams Biological Theory of Ionization, 30% truth value: very high. A normal book or theory has a truth value between 1% and 10%)) fame, says: you never achieve the perfect health numbers... until you are dead.

In my eating regimen coaching: the regimen, the food-list changes at least twice a year, sometimes more often.

That is how life works. Correction, correction, correction.

So don"t be stupid and don"t live in an imaginary ideal of perfection. Learn to course correct. It"s a skill. And the only way.

How fast can you raise your vibration? Worth reading again...

Humility is the mother of all virtues, courage the father, integrity the child and wisdom the grandchild. There are two main issues (lack of courage and lack of humility) that if you have them, you probably won"t be able to raise your vibration until you overcome these two issues.

To illustrate the first, I"ll use Tai Lopez"s email... Thank you Tai
I had someone ask me the other day "Hey Tai, if you could take one quote from throughout history and make it you life guide, what quote would it be?"

That"s a pretty tough question, because you can use quotes and history as free mentor.

If I had to take one quote and make it my purpose in life, It would be something I read from Alexander the Great. He said "Through every generation of the human race there has been a constant war, a war with fear. Those who have the courage to conquer it are made free, and those who are conquered by it are made to suffer until they have the courage to defeat it or death takes them."

Let me tell you, you get this one in your head and make it instinctually part of you, who you are and how you think, you will be head and heels miles ahead of the crowd.

Sometimes, fear drives people more than reward.

I think reward"s more powerful, but it"s like Alexander the Great says, "Fear is the horse running around inside your brain, it"s the stallion, and that stallion will kill you."

If you don"t throw a saddle on it or and get on top of that horse and ride it, if you just stand in the corral with a wild horse, that horse will kill you and that"s what Alexander the Great means.

Most people have never harnessed their fear, and so that fear causes them, as he says, they"re made to suffer. Most people"s life is one of suffering. They"re not in abundance, they"re in scarcity. Get into abundant mode. To get from scarcity to abundance, I"m not just talking about money, I"m talking about health and happiness too.

You can"t be afraid to put in the work and take on big challenges. You can"t be afraid to be successful. If you live in fear, you won"t take risks and take on challenges. Being successful ain"t easy. It"s gonna take hard work and time.

Don"t let your fears hold you back. The most difficult challenges in life can be the best things for you.

This was courage deficiency... as I call it. Or fear as he calls it.

And this is the second issue...

The primary issue, in my experience, is lack of humility.

Humility is the degree to which you can empty your vessel so you can get new knowledge.

What prevents you from being able to empty your vessel? A delusion that you know. A distrust of anything that you are offered. A desire to prove that you don"t need it. A self-importance... that your life is about you.

One would think humility is a base capacity... oh yeah, I forgot to say it"s a capacity. The ability to take your self-importance out of the picture... it feels like you are killing yourself.

It feels like becoming vulnerable... allowing someone to slay you. To destroy you. So you won"t allow it.

And if you look, that is the last thing that you want, to be vulnerable. Not even to the people you love. Hell no.

Other people call it "ego", but they don"t know, you don"t know what that means, and what you can do about it. So I won"t use that word. I"ll continue calling it humility.

It can be measured in many different ways, and in the Starting Point Measurements I measure it from different angles, to be sure that I am accurate.

1. your vibration (1-1000):
2. your overall intelligence, emotional, intellectual, spiritual, body, relationship, etc.:
3. the number of spiritual capacities you have:
4. your soul correction (your machine): https://www.yourvibration.com/sc
5. do you have attachments?
6. the level of your health (1-100):
7. the level of your cell hydration (1-100):
8. your relationship to feedback and instruction:
What is your level of delusion
19. To what degree you have access to your adult capacities %
20. How teachable/how coachable are you?
21. The level of your awareness?

Of all the 21 measures, many point to the same thing... and answer some aspect of the question:

can you grow? can you raise your vibration? can you learn new things and unlearn old thing?

Let"s see the itemized list and how the different measures relate to your ability to grow and raise your vibration:
  • Your vibration shows your current level of knowledge. (1 and 2 on the list)

  • The number of spiritual capacities show how many tools you have in your tool box to do life. (3)

  • Your soul correction shows what major capacity is missing for you to do life well. (4)

  • Your relationship to feedback and instruction shows your attitude towards finding out bad news about yourself (8)

  • Your TLB shows how much discomfort you allow yourself to have: it takes a lot of discomfort to grow.

  • Your clarity score, your vocabulary score shows to what degree you can hear what someone says as they meant it. The lower the score the less you hear. And most likely you replace what you read/hear with your own narrative.
Your inverse humility score. The more you think of yourself, the less you are willing to empty your cup and gain new knowledge.

  • Your ambition and desire number tell a whole story: the higher your ambition the more you are willing to do for what you want, including raising your vibration. A high desire number tells the exact opposite.

  • Your degree of inauthenticity is inverse with your willingness to be taught, because you have an image to protect

  • Your level of integrity shows to what degree you are willing to do what you set out to do. Low integrity: Likely you"ll never change.

  • How enslaved you are to memes? Memes is the commonly accepted knowledge, societal, ethnic, the chicken coop. (Re: The White Tiger). Unless you get out of the chicken coop (courage needed) you"ll be unable to raise your vibration.

  • Adult capacities are rare... but the degree will show to what degree you are a little girl or a little boy crying for the bottle (or to have your ass wiped for you.)

  • And lastly, the level of your awareness of your environment and of yourself... if that number is low, you live in your head, or more accurately in Plato"s Cave. Low awareness will result in high delusion. And believing in magic methods like the law of attraction, voodoo, and other magical methods.

Can you change these numbers? Yes you can. But I don"t know of many methods...

I teach the increasing the awareness method... I put together from wherever I found the components.

Society, your friends, your family are not interested in you changing... They want you to remain the way you are.

Lip service is just lip service. No one is allowed to flee the coop.

And this is why you need the courage Tai is talking about.

Got it?

OK, there is a third part that I don"t want to ignore:

Your foundation. Your physical foundation.
  • If your health and hydration numbers are low... you are like a bird with a broken wing.

  • If you have an undisciplined sleep schedule, if you are an insomniac, if you have to take sleeping pills to fall asleep, and Concerta or a bucket of coffee to be able to function in the morning, if you need alcohol to get through the day they you lack a solid foundation on which you can build.

  • Integrity... this includes inconsistency...

I have seen huge strides when someone started to handle integrity.

This program is still in beta test, but it is starting to show signs that it might work: the Accountability Forum.

It works a lot like a mastermind: you post what you"ll do, every day, and at the end of the day you say what you did and what you didn"t do. I am not sure why it works so well, but it"s amazingly effective.

Why are you not able to sustain sustain a new mindset? Sustain Change? Sustain Evolution? Sustain Growth?

Yesterday I spent 90 minutes with my coaching client.

This is what I learned:

You are not retaining any of the insights, any of the knowledge you read. And because my site, my programs need you to retain what you were taught, my programs, with you, are wholly ineffective.

I already saw this when I was in Landmark programs: I saw that even seminar leaders don"t retain the knowledge, the coaching, they get.

Change is not enough. We must evolve... evolution is irreversible

Every new seminar they start from zero, or near zero.

I retain everything. But what is the difference between them and me, you and me? Am I superior? Am I special?

So solving this puzzle has been the biggest mountain to climb for me.

It is not that I am smarter. it is not that.

I got the clue from Atlas Shrugged... I knew I had a reason to read it again (third time) I just didn"t know what it was.

One of the main characters, Hank Rearden, realizes that he had been two people with two moral world views: 1. his person at work, where he took pride in his ability to create with his ability to think, and 2. in the area of his body, sex, where he didn"t take pride in what he did. He considered it a sin. Read the update in the footnotes: ((

Update 8/14/2018:

The issue is that you don"t recognize values. Why don"t you? One of the reasons could be is that you were told what is good and what is bad, and what is moral and what is immoral. You weren"t allowed to see, feel for yourself.

When you have values, when you recognize values, they work in you like The Light. In Hebrew the word for it is translatable to compass... The Hebrew word is Matzpun.

It is like a beacon of light, guiding you. In zig-zag, because that is the nature of movement and guidance in reality. So you are always off target, but your next move is correction. A graceful dance, enjoyable.

Whereas morality is rigid. You are bad when you are not good.

When it"s a value, then you are off...

Can you FEEL the difference? Being bad feels really bad. Being off... it"s normal.

So how do you get off this torture wheel of good and bad?

I have no clue. I didn"t have to do it: as a child I was labeled AMORAL, and I still am. No moral rules. It"s not the Jewish way.

Of course I have seen "NEW" Jews behave like Christians, considering obeying the commandments and rules and Shabbat and Kashrut as good, and not quite verbatim obeying them as bad, but that is not the soul of Judaism.

Judaism is not judgmental.

Obviously I am not a religious scholar: I am an atheist and have always been.

So, if I don"t know, how am I going to be able to teach you to become a person: inner directed, value recognizer, personal value directed: flexible and joyful?

You can see that this is the crux of the matter. The difference between a fulfilling life and a life that is a straitjacket. Living for appearances, living a life dictated by the moral majority.

This is an area where muscle test isn"t helping: Source doesn"t know. It hasn"t been done. Yet.

A few months ago, in one of our What"s Missing? workshops, I suggested to a few participants to take on the beingness, choose themselves to be VALUE RECOGNIZERS.

Of course if you live by some bible... you expect someone to tell you what to look for.

But to activate your SIGHT, your inner ability to SEE, pointing you towards a thing will not do it. You have to discover it yourself.

So what are your clues?

One clue is joy. It"s subtle, but it"s obvious. Joy is part of "enjoy"... and all living beings know it, it is a guidance system.

The memory of "joy" isn"t joy.

I used to have this disappointment regularly. I imagined eating ice-cream, and the joy that comes with it. But reality did not match my imagination.

Ice cream... cold, sweet, no joy. Hm.

It took me a long time (and severe weight gain) to realize that I am not wired for joy fro ice cream.

Most foods are like that. Advertising suggest what you are supposed to feel... and you think that you are at fault if you don"t. Often sex was like that... OK, for me, always. Hugs, kissing, new clothes, travel... disappointing.

You need to find your own wiring. What does genuinely give you pleasure?

That is where YOUR values lie... It is separating the wheat from the chaff... you need to come out of the cave, and feel what you feel, not what you are supposed to feel.

))

Now, I don"t know where you are split, but I know that you are.

How, what? What are you talking about?

You are one person, with one set of values when you read my articles, or do my programs. Then the next moment you move to be a different person with a different set of values. No connection, nothing is left from the person, from the values, from what is important to you from the previous "place"... no continuity.

Thus, the brain, gets rid of all the learning.

I am talking to you. I am not talking about other people, I am talking about you.

You have always been split.
You have never had a Self, you have never had a core, you have never had any authenticity.

You are a chameleon, but worse than that. The chameleon only changes its color, you change your whole value system.

Until and unless you become one, you are stuck at the level of your lowest self, the lowest vibration.

It"s not a character issue, although it could be. I think it is an integration issue.

And, between you and me, I don"t care which "persona" you pick to be the you everywhere, just pick one.

Pick the lowest, once it is unified, and authentic, you can start growing in earnest.

So how do you pick? Pick the persona that you are most of the time. The bum, the lazy one, the criminal, the weak one, the stupid one, the pleasure seeker... and stop pretending that you are anything else than that.

Unify yourself, integrate yourself around that persona.

It"s ugly, but it needs to get done. Because what excuses you from integrity is that you can pretend, that you are X, while most of the time you are Y.

Of course if you have a TLB 1 in your measurements, you won"t do it. So this is not for you. You will just keep pretending and be wretched at the same time.

But those of you who are willing to take on to unify yourself around something that is easy, your lowest, you"ll start to see, that unless you have a firm starting point, unless you are the same bum, thief, sniveling creature everywhere, you cannot carry over new knowledge.
  • If you are married, your lowest is who you are in that marriage. [note]Your marriage is based on pretense, his and yours, or hers and yours[/note]

  • If you live with your parents, your lowest is who you are that mooches on your parents.

  • If you have a job you hate, and you think you are worth more... your lowest is who you are at that job.

You are like water. Just because you have spots where you boil... the water that you are is not boiling... and will never boil, unless you accept that you are one.

I don"t know who the f... said "we are one"...

We are not one, and we don"t need to be. But you are not one... and if you want to become a human being, you need to become one.

The level of inauthenticity is indicator of the level of "schizophrenia"... the level of split.

How you do anything is how you do everything is true, because it is the you that is in common. Because, between you and me, you can only pretend to a degree. If you are sloppy, sweep only where people can see it, you"ll do it in your work, in your work with me, in the way you read, in the way you make love, in the way you drive.

And you know it.

The level of misery is an indicator of your inauthenticity... the level of your need to pretend.

Werner Erhard says that you can only be authentic about your inauthenticity.

What does that mean? That only in the moment that you can say: I am pretending to be X while I am really Y. Meaning that you are always pretending, but you are pretending that you are NOT pretending.

When you need to confront me, and tell me the things about yourself that you don"t like, your slothfulness, or your complacency, or your anger, you are pretending doing that. As if it didn"t constitute who you are. It does. And unless you own it, fully, THERE IS NOTHING THAT YOU CAN DO ABOUT IT.

You only have power over what belongs to you. But in your "confession" to me, you are disowning those things... and thus, you are stuck. Stuck being slothful, complacent, or angry.

There are only a few people who are somewhat willing to own what is the lowest in them. How do I know? They actually retain some of the knowledge, some of the growth, some of the capacities I turned on.

If you are not willing to be what you are, who you are, at your worst, you are not going to grow.

Now... do I have areas like that?

Yes. At this point I have one person with whom I am motivated by fear... And I have one habit I consider low: eating to treat feeling bad... feeling YOUR wretched feelings I must feel.

I am willing to own both.

Now, what do you need to own your lowest?

You need courage. Because the feeling is that the moment you own it, it becomes real... it is like the abyss opens up.

But the abyss has been there all along. You"ve been living a life of avoiding the abyss... that is the cause of your misery, not what you claim is... not having what you want. No, it is the avoidance of your own ugliness, your real agenda, your real self.

The second thing you need is to know that the moment you own it, the moment you tell the truth about who you"ve been, you have a chance to not be that.

Your life is used by the effort to avoid being seen for who you are. That is like a concern around which you dance.

Imagine your left foot being nailed to the floor. How far can you go? Can your life be about anything other than that nail? No, right?

So the moment you own that ugliness, the nail comes out.

Complaining about it, speaking of it as a force of nature, speaking about it as if it were happening to you, is not owning it.

That is what you have been doing! And it made no difference.

Owning is an act of courage. Once you own it, you have your power back and you can start growing, and going places.

I know it sounds counter intuitive, but what "they" are teaching you are ways to be a slave...

And that is who you have been: a slave.

Violence may be another clue to guide you away from what is not your inner, what is not YOU... I think I"ll have to write more about violence.

Most "cultures" that preach "love" don"t love... they are violent cultures, enforcing "love"...  I would laugh if it weren"t so horrible. And once you lose your natural ability to be guided by feelings (Read the Feelings book!) you are no longer a potential human being: you are a machine.

What do you want, really? or asked differently What do you really want?

The answer is in the values you choose to love...

I have been harping on values... and it is as if I were speaking in an auditorium where my voice doesn"t, can"t carry... there is no echo. ((My very first assignment as a newly minted architect was to create the acoustics for the rooms of the Academy of Music in Budapest. The requirements were: let the people in the room have good acoustics, while nothing to be heard outside of the room... tricky but can be done.))

Nothing and no one indicating that they are hearing me, that they are pondering, that the question is heard and taken on as a quest to answer, to ponder, to be taken with you to sleep, to your meditation, to your walks, so you eventually come up with something you value.

Don’t ask what the world needs. Ask what makes you come alive, and go do it. Because what the world needs is people who have come alive.

Community cannot for long feed on itself; it can only flourish with the coming of others from beyond, their unknown and undiscovered brothers.

During times of war, hatred becomes quite respectable even though it has to masquerade often under the guise of patriotism.

- Howard Thurman (1900 - 1981)

There are two kinds of values, temporary/transitory and eternal.

Nothing wrong with either of them. but if your life is about chasing temporary, transitory values (systemic values and extrinsic values are all transitory) your life will be, meaning your experience of your life, a roller coaster. No permanence, especially not where it matters, on the inside.

The purpose of religion in its most benevolent form, is to give some sturdiness to your insides, so you have something beyond the momentary pleasures of eating, sexing, or the ego. ((Ego is a tricky word. I should have used "selfish gene" instead... but I am still a little confused, so let"s leave it at that.))

Obviously (to me and to Source) only two percent of religious people get the eternal values guide their lives, because what you need, the pre-condition to be guided by the eternal, is to surrender yourself to something greater than yourself: the eternal.

Three of the four ways the Divine gets to you, beauty, truth, and power are transitory, temporary, change with the culture. Goodness, on the other hand is eternal.

So people who are goodness influenced have an easier time to surrender. I am not saying all do... Donald Trump is a goodness person... do you see any signs of surrendering to a purpose larger than himself? I don"t. Stalin... ditto.

I have muscle tested many of the billionaires I know of... it"s a mixed bag... Half are goodness, the other half power over others. A very few are beauty or truth.

I just had a conversation with a client/student of mine. He guessed only about 20% right what someone"s quadrant was.

It turns out that we are not born into a quadrant, but by about 3-year old we choose one. I chose goodness, in a family of Power-people. I stuck out like a sore thumb.

When my mother came to visit me in the USA when I was 45, she had a puzzled look every time she looked at me. I seemed to her to be of a different species... and in essence I was.

Here is the most troubling piece: you have no Self if you are beauty, truth, or power. You live your life, do your work, not from your Self, but from some outside element, mostly other people, or a concept like money or success.

Where Self is supposed to be, you are empty. And that is frightening.

The good news is that you can build a Self... although your outward focus will be a real obstacle.

Do all Goodness people have a Self? Muscle test says: no. Only about 1% of them.

Why is that? Because we live in a culture where it is not hip to be an individual with a Self.

I am continuing this inquiry

It is obvious that certain cultures are more intent on killing individuality, your Self than others. Canada is one of these cultures. California is another.

New York where I live is second after New Jersey that is the friendliest to individuality, followed by New York and Massachusetts. Why? I don"t know. I lived in New Jersey for 16 years, but didn"t know to look.

This should clue you in that you see more of what is through distinctions. No distinctions: you walk around with empty eyes... that is pretty much most people on the planet.

This article has been in the making for a few days now, given that I can work on it a few minutes at a time before I get so sick that I have to go back to bed again.

The most alarming thing about these few days isn"t that I am very sick... it is the lack of curiosity my readers show, including my students.

The distinction: how the divine gets through to you is one of the fundamental distinctions that will show you how your machine operates, and what to do to become someone with a Self, that can have Self-confidence, Self-respect, Self-regard, Self-esteem, Self-governance.

Without those you have empty eyes, you can never be happy, and if I were you, that is an opportunity I would never want to miss.

I had a call yesterday with a Beauty person whose mantra is "it"s too much work for too little", in essence "it"s not worth it".

The expression comes to mind:

You know the price of everything, the value of nothing.

Because most of you have never had a Self, you actually don"t know what you are missing.

A simple test: ask yourself what you want for or from your life. If it"s something transient, puny, non-eternal... you are a dog that is wagged by the tail... a clear indication that you don"t have a Self.

When Thoreau said: the mass of men live a life of quiet desperation, he meant living without a Self. Living without an inner core. Being empty inside.

I don"t care what your gurus tell you: if you are empty inside, you try to fill it with pretty images, but still no Self.

Even though 10% of humanity has the capacity to surrender and become an individual, only 10% of those actually realize that.

When you look, we are born with a ton of capacities, and few turn capacities into abilities, functional and operative abilities. The same is with the capacity for being and individual. It takes courage, it takes trust, it takes turning your life over to a single integrated principle. That is an individual... And only an individual has a Self.

And if you know the real meaning of integrity, the sentence where it says: Being true to Your Self cannot be fulfilled unless you have a Self.

I have people who argue with me on their Starting Point Measurements, saying that everyone says their strongest attribute is their integrity, while their integrity number is under 10%.

You cannot have integrity without a Self.

I learned a lot of distinctions in my 26 years in Landmark Education. With this new distinction, I suddenly understood why only 1% of participants are ever able to live the life that is available from participation.

Only 1% of humanity has a Self... and to live a life you love and to live it powerfully needs you to have a Self.

The cornerstone of Landmark"s teaching is to invent a new possibility for yourself and your life.

Once. And then live it, allow it to guide your actions, your thinking, your life.

Instead all the people I knew there, invent something bombastic every few days, and then forget it. Without a Self, without the capacity to surrender, it is band aids, soothing salve, temporary relief.

This number includes staff as well... Even Werner Erhard is a man without a Self.

You can have a Self no matter what is the method the divine has to get to you. It takes work, it takes new abilities, it takes sometime all you got... and it"s worth it... if and when you realize that walking around empty is a guarantee that you"ll live and empty life.

Of course if your access to life, if your mantra is "It"s not worth the bother" you won"t do it. You will remain a second-hander, a looter, a moocher, an person with empty eyes.

One of the billions of "men" living a life of quiet desperation.
