We tend to see the same thing over and over. It is called: already always listening. Or sometimes it is called "a seeming". And yet other times it is called prejudice.

Whether it is there or not doesn"t depend on your vibration. What depends on your vibration is what you are going to do about this information.

But your results in life depend on that... so ultimately, it is true, that the quality of your life will depend on your vibration.

How? Where? Why?

It is slightly different for every person, but we could say that your fixed way of seeing the world is responsible for 90% of what"s in your life. 10% is out of your control.

Where? In money. In relationships. In health. In spirituality. Everywhere.

When you are looking for and find things to be unhappy about... always angry...

I have a student who seems to be looking for reasons to be unhappy, angry, frustrated. And not surprisingly she finds something. Always.

She is working on her health and well-being, and part of that is to document every breakfast, lunch and dinner time what she eats, what she drinks, what she does, what she feels like, and whether she had a bowel movement or not. These are all indicators of her well-being and progress.

This morning I realized something: her diary says: bowel movement: small. She doesn"t say: bowel movement: yes (or no, whatever is the case.) No she says: small.

This realization lead me to look back and see that she wants to find something she can be unhappy about.

Now, this is actually very familiar to me. Bear with me, a lot of you have this, and if you can see it, you can do something about it.

I"ll share my story later, let me first distinguish the mechanism:

Unbelievable, but true: you do crave more of what you are, and feel aversion towards what you are not.

I didn"t know this until a friend said, out of the blue one day: your gut is organized to digest the food you are now giving it... it needs different bacteria to digest different food, like vegetables.

That is all I needed to hear: I started to re-train my gut to eat a healthier diet... In the beginning I gave it only grams of what it wasn"t used to... so I can be well during the transition.

The least qualified person syndrome

Before I get into the meat of the article, I"d like to share what happened in Israel during and after the War of Independence, lasting about 20-25 years.

It"s a rare opportunity to go from innocent infant to all-seeing adult, being able to observe it at the same time.

When I first did the Landmark Forum, (()) the koan of the session was: for you everything is the same as everything else, except that not always.

When you are an infant, for you everything is the same as everything else... no distinctions. No distinction between your body and the environment. You are just as ready to suck on your feet as you are ready to suck on someone else"s finger.

From time to time you"ll see something strange, like you reach out, as always, and your hands remain empty: the object you reach for is out of reach...

You learn the world, your world, slowly, and experientially. Through seeing, hearing, touching, tasting... like a baby.

Why my niece died and other things worth your attention

People think that a mite infestation, especially the spider mite infestation is more a nuisance than anything.

After all what harm can these critters cause... no bacteria, no virus... no big deal.

But the truth is much more complicated, and much more dramatic than that.

The spider mites that live their whole life-cycle hidden from observation, have the visible stage: the nymph getting nutrients from the host.

A simple bite would harmful, would be painful, maybe it even would itch, but it probably wouldn"t kill you.

What kills you, and it does, that the nymph is attached to your skin, inner or outer, and its chemicals irritate the skin for days.

My niece died of cervical cancer.
