Get well first. I can"t take people to spiritual growth unless they are well

Source says: You can"t take people to spiritual growth, people who are not well... This is the signal I have been waiting for.

To be able to do Source"s work, I have surrendered to giving you what you want.

You want to grow? Then you want to be well? Not my favorite topic, not as high minded as I hoped I will work... but Source says: I can"t take people to spiritual growth, people who are not well.

Maslow has said it, and it should be self evident: unless your basics are covered, money, health, you won"t have any interest and any energy to give to spiritual growth.

So I have surrendered... OK. I"ll get you well. If that is what I need to do so I can take you to the level of human being... which requires serious spiritual growth, new capacities, new way of being.

How the abilities activation effects children

I activated the abilities of The Sight and Appreciation a few days ago... This is the email I received this morning... unsolicited, of course.



Good morning Sophie. I finally settled in. I would like to share the change that I see after your activation of the two DNA capacities. The first thing I noticed is in my kids.

My daughter in the past never wanted to help when she was cooking or baking even though she wouldn"t have a clue what needs to be done: She had an "I already know attitude." Now whenever she is baking she accepts little tips like what needs to go in a cookie batter. Or asks me what goes next.

I was making a chicken dish and she helped me make it while in the past she wanted to do all by herself. She is more teachable now.

Another thing: she doesn"t get mad at me when I say something good I shouldn"t have said or if I somehow made her mad, she gets over it right away. Before she would be pouting all day long, moody about nothing. Not any more.

My son has changed too. He stopped wetting the bed!

Life, looked through the filter of games... Is life a game?

In the game of life, when you are losing, or not winning, the two things that can be missing are moves and DNA capacities.

The game goes the way the game goes, but you can play well and with a full deck, or not. Life deals a hand that you can play to win, and you can play to lose...

Each game in life has moves. Winning moves, and losing moves. You can have all the winning moves if you can"t see the consequences of your actions, you won"t win. And even if you see the consequences of your actions (capacity), if you don"t have moves, you still lose.

You have to have the capacities and you have to have the moves to win. Both are part of the invisible.

Life can be treated as a game, and everything in life can be treated as a game... A game you can win, or a game that you can lose.

How to make your new DNA activated capacity actually work for you

Unconscious Incompetence: the missing item
Like knowledge, capacities are either conscious or not.

When a knowledge, a skill, a capacity is conscious, you know to reach for it when it would be useful. It is like you know you have a Phillips screwdriver... and you reach for it.

But if you have never had a Phillips screwdriver, as far as you are concerned, you have to substitute other methods to screw in a screw, imperfect tools for an imperfect result, or give it up and find another screw. Makes sense so far?

To know to reach for it is not automatic, because you didn"t know you had it.

When I activate a formerly dark DNA capacity, when I switch it on, you don"t know you have it. You even paid for it, but you don"t know what"s missing, you only see that life is not quite working in a certain arena, just like the natives saw the ripples in the water, but could not see the ships... seeing ship with sails was a missing capacity for them.

A missing capacity is like the missing item, in the missing item exercise I have written about and have coached hundreds with it.

To expand the field where you live, take on curiosity

One of the beingnesses you could take on is curiosity.

I know you think you know what it is, but consider that you have no clue.

You know asking for answers. That is not the curiosity I am talking about, that is a strategy to wrap up life in a neat package, so there are no more questions... Not what I am talking about.

Then there is the curiosity you shower celebrities with...
The curiosity that brought you to this site... checking out my reviews of gurus and such... nay, that is gossipy curiosity... comparing, no real curiosity is in it.

No, curiosity does not make you ask questions, does not make you look up answers on website, curiosity is a deep yearning... but of course, If I tell you what it is, you"ll think you know it...

So I won"t... Just consider that curiosity so much out there that it really serves for a far out point, just like my magnificent.

And you can not tire of it for a whole life, hell, several lifetimes, it"s so high up there...

I got an insight in how you think through an email interaction with a client of mine.

She thanked me for talking to her. Something didn"t sit well with me about that, so I answered:

Awakening: the one practice that takes you all the way to enlightenment

The illusion of progress
I had a rude awakening this morning. The illusion of progress, the illusion of doing something that works hasn"t left me untouched either.

In my coaching session this morning I woke up, I woke up from my illusion. The illusion that people understand what it takes to grow, what it takes to become an expanding human being, the illusion that people know anywhere what the work entails.

I think this illusion is shared by quite a few teachers, but not being alone is not a consolation, it"s just a fact.

Pick your battles... have an organizing principle

A good 20 years ago I had lunch with a famous seminar leader from Landmark. We had a long history, and she shared with me how unhappy she was, and how ready she was to quit leading seminars for Landmark Education.

I was quite dumbfounded... she was the best in the country, the most effective...

She said: "We teach people to be more effective, and many use the technology to be more effectively dupe people, abuse people, exploit people, make the world a worse place than it would be if they were not equipped with what we teach them."

I didn"t have an answer for her... but I was pondering that myself for the past 20 years.

And this morning I am as close to having an answer as ever...
