Become all you can become? Why? How? Aren"t you already all you can become?

Yesterday I spent about four hours listening to Jordan Peterson. The material I listened to was a truth value of 30%... not bad.

In some ways Jordan Peterson, the teacher, and I, the teacher, deal with the same things: people don"t see why they should learn.

Many reasons, I see, but one of them is fundamental, and also invisible, meaning it is an invisible part of reality, the part that is below the sea level of the iceberg. It"s not hidden, as one of my students says... although Werner calls the process that makes it visible "unconcealing" suggesting that it is concealed, which is another word for hidden.

According to Kabbalah, 90% of reality is also hidden, so maybe I should call it hidden... but I prefer invisible... sue me if you don"t like it.

Anyway, back to the fundamental dynamic that is hidden from plain view: there is no future... so the mind, human or animal alike, fills the future with visions/memories of the past... These are the things that can happen, because these are the things that have happened.

And in some aspects this is accurate: the past, on the scale of history, definitely repeats itself, wars, depression, global warming, ice ages.

On the personal level, though, this is not necessarily so, unless you help it along. And until you know how it works, you do help it along.

You will be, unchanged, in your future, and that unchanged person does the same stupid things... and the result will be the same, or often worse than the previous ten times.

What is the operative, active part that makes life repeat the past? Is it really the picture we set up, that may happen, and we embellish it, like we embellish our vision boards or mind movies?

No, it is the "us" that we carry over, and the same person will, without fail, create the same mayhem, the same havoc, the same empty life, the same disappointments, the same miserable existence it has been creating forever.

This is the reason vision boards and mind movies don"t really work, that prayers don"t heal, and just by having nice memes won"t make you an appreciative person.

You, inside and outside, have to change, if you want a different future, different from your past.

But what people teach about changing is all in the visible... and unless you penetrate the invisible, the dynamic forces that are under the sea level, you won"t be able to change, no matter how much you pretend that you have.

In Sling Blade, when asked if he will kill again, the convicted double murderer answers: "I reckon I have no reason to kill." That is when you know that when he will have, when he will see a reason, he will. He will kill.

https://youtu.be/sAgSUFT4cVk?t=82

And so do three quarters of released inmates in the United States: they didn"t change in jail or prison, so as soon as the they reckon they have a reason, they will do it again... this time probably worse than before...

So obviously we don"t really know what makes one want to change and then change, or we would do it: who we are now is much less than who we could be, and we have much less life, therefore, than we could have.

The vision board people are digging around the right backyard... but they are still not hitting on paydirt...

Vision boards make you focus on what you want to have, what you want to do, not on who you want to be.

We have very few distinctions in the domain of being.

Our feelings, our emotions, are in no way any indicators... and our vocabulary is so poor in accuracy, no wonder we are bumbling idiots thinking we are geniuses. We are judgmental as*holes pointing the finger at other people"s shortcomings, while not seeing our own. We are complaining that people don"t respond well to our intention to dominate them... lol.

And your self-awareness is so low, that you don"t see who you are being. You can"t catch what you can"t see. You can"t do much with what you can"t name... accurately. And therefore changing who you are is nearly impossible to you.

Tragic, I say, because who you are is not all you can be... In fact, if we want to translate who you can be and who you are to something measurable, though it isn"t, my students, on average, is about 3%, which largely coincides, or correlates, or equal to their average integrity.

Integrity is a number that expresses to what degree you are true to your self... And in this calculation, the "your self" is who you can become.

The Self Marianne Williamson must be talking about when she says: "Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us.

We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be?

You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won"t feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It"s not just in some of us; it"s in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others."

She isn"t talking about your current, actual self... the one that does the things you do today, the one that wastes half of the time you have, every day, on unimportant, unproductive things... leaking away your Life Force.

No, she talks about the Self that you can become. The Self you fancy yourself already to be... only to find out that you are fantasizing.

I haven"t done Jordan Peterson"s Self Authoring program, and if it were up to his sales pitch, I would never do. So I don"t know if it is any good.

If you are adventurous AND generous, you can buy the program in a two for one sale, one for yourself, and one for me, for about 30 bucks...

So given that i don"t exactly know what he is teaching, I will tell you what I think might work... And with that said: there is nothing, literally nothing that works across the board.

I learned one method in Landmark Education, that done properly can produce lasting changes for 30% of the people who use it. ((Only 10% of all participants even attempt to use the process, by the way... So we are talking about 30% of the 10%... a whopping 3%.))

Taught the way it is taught, it can only produce 10% lasting results... the difference is a slight modification of language... and that is all it takes.

Then with proper followup, I called "putting legs under that future", the results for those that applied themselves, produced a 50% result.

If you pay attention, I emphasize "for those who applied themselves".

People have a lot of reason not to apply themselves. They feel they get more out of their misery than from becoming self sufficient, glorious human beings.

People with domination/avoid domination issues primarily are prone to this avoidance.

They avoid all kinds of domination, especially their soul"s domination, their word"s domination. why are they the way they are? Now, that I don"t know.

There are many different ways one can avoid changing, learning, transformation, the good life.

I have started to make a list yesterday... here it is. Can you pick your favorite ways to avoid?

Deflect
Sideways
Beating yourself up
Stay 100% about yourself
Waiting for god
Argue
Not own
Turn around and teach back...
Make things a rule

So the way to grow is to set up a beingness slightly higher, slightly bigger than you are. I say slightly, because if the gap feels unbridgeable, then you will not be able to see any results any time soon, and you"ll get discouraged.

What I am personally working on, for example, is the beingness of self-sufficiency. I have been working on this for about two years... ever since I discovered that I have a racket of being needy.

I say: I am the kind of person who does everything that is in my power to provide myself with what I need, materially, and emotionally. If that includes asking for something... then I ask. I make the other person feel good about doing what I asked them to do.

And when I notice some wrinkle, I attempt to add it.

It takes for me to look at my limitations differently, and reduce my limitations, if that is what it takes. And add, for example, physical abilities, so I am less limited physically. Work more, so I am less limited financially. Learn new ways of offering my products as well.

Slow going. And yet it is worth it.

When you keep your attention on the process, the glorious future is just the backdrop. Backdrop, the context is decisive.

The backdrop depends on where you place your eyes on the past-present-future continuum.

Most people put their eyes to point A on the picture... and their experience is: I am not there... and maybe I"ll never be... so they quit, deflect, move sideways, argue, etc.

I choose to place my eyes to the future accomplishment (point B on the picture to the left) looking from there at my bumbling successes and failures. I am already there, but the behavior, the thinking, the emotions need to catch up. It is nurturing. And it is effective.

It takes a big paradigm shift from looking at your efforts from point A, and say: not yet, not yet... thinking that up until you reach your destination, it is a waste of time... or it"s wrong.

When you were a child asking "are we there yet?" you already showed your tendency to only value the destination, and none of the journey. So you have had a lot of practice to look from the "not yet" perspective.

But like old dogs can be taught new tricks, you can learn this... unless... unless avoidance promises you more goodies...

In the racket process we compare the goodies you get from regenerating your misery with the cost of it on your life.

There is a magic moment when you can start to see that the goodies are in no way a good deal: having a good life would be. And that is the moment when you are willing to even contemplate to start working on becoming all you can become.

PS: I taught the art of creating a context in the Brilliance at Will course... I will do that again, teach it in the Playground... as a test, now that I know more.

Reality for dummies

A few years ago I made a lot of money selling my Sleep Rescue Remedy. It worked, and 80% of the buyers bought it again. All I needed to do is fill and shop bottles fast enough.

Sleep is a big problem, and unless it is solved, people are getting more and more incoherent and less and less brilliant, less and less able to contain their anger, frustration, fear, anxiety, or desires...

Sleep is a lot like eating: people are unwilling to be disciplined about it, and they pay the price. A big price.

But it is a potentially big money maker.

So why am I not pursuing it? After all making money is good, right?

My answer even surprised me: because it is boring.

Hm, interesting. Is all making money boring?

I spent some time looking at that question. And I have to think, that all making money, a lot of money, require to solve problems that people know they have, so they are already main stream.

And main stream means there are billions of people who know they have a problem, so selling them is a piece of cake, if your product does solve the problem.

But if it is this simple, then it"s boring. It"s repetitive, and requires no thinking, no brilliance. ((I know a guy who makes good money. One time I asked him if he could do anything with his life, what he would do. He answered, that he would teach in college, because he would have a chance to use the gray matter in his brain.

If you are like him, making money will not satisfy you.))

Now, if your solution, if your product does not solve the problem, if you are a shyster, then it may get more interesting: you have to lie convincingly, make up good and better stories, invent customer success... so it is a lot more interesting, albeit it has no integrity.

Because I live and teach by the Anna Karenina Principle: All happy families are alike, all unhappy families are unhappy in their own way... the Strait and Narrow, the removing everything that would make you unhappy, sleep poorly, have poor digestion, be fat, be uninspired, fill your cone of vision by yourself... etc., for me selling what doesn"t work would not work: if you want to love yourself and love your life, you have to have high level of integrity in every area of life.

What"s wrong with boring? Nothing really, other than boring is BORING.

In my business there are a lot of repetitive actions, and one could say that they are boring, and they would be that... for you. But for me almost everything I do is exciting, because for me everything I do is finding ways to be strait and narrow... and it seems that takes some effort... it seems that human nature is a lot like a new puppy: wants to pee on everything.

Or a new kitten... wants to climb on the top of every furniture, climb every curtain, every tree, even if it cannot get back down.

Nature wants you to climb higher... and unless you do it inside, it will make you do it outside... and then you can"t get down. And unlike with the kitty, there are no nice firemen with their long ladders come to the rescue.

I have watched people who could not pay their credit card bills, who had no hopes to pay it from their income, and suddenly they bought some fancy package of some fancy way to make money they have no means to follow... neither the brain, nor the know-how, nor nothing.

My method of making every step I take, literally or figuratively, part of growth and therefore exciting, has kept me out of trouble, even though when I get overconfident, I also climb the curtain... my own inimitable way, making myself miserable for a day or two.

But for the most part, I have managed to live an interesting, exciting life that looks, for others, like the most boring life ever.

So what is my secret?

I have a lot of secrets, actually.

Life"s most interesting aspect is that no one secret solution will be effective everywhere.

Not even with sleep... Not even with eating... not even with love...

So when you are desperately looking for the hammer to squash the problem you have, you are really having a fix-it attack... but every fixing is the source of much bigger problems, especially when it deals with people.

My mother was a fix-it type person, looking for fixes to contain me as a child.

She had a fix for everything, for how I ate (or didn"t), for how I slept, for how I spoke, for how I moved.

Being on the receiving end of a fix-it person is a miserable thing... Because all fix-it persons ignore what is there, and replace it with a "wrong, must be fixed" thing.

But, you see, my mother was quite typical, as far as mothers go... if you look. She saw nothing of me, other than what bothered her, frustrated her, angered her. ((I have heard that occasionally she bragged about me, but she never let me know that she noticed anything I did right.))

She never looked at life, at herself, through my eyes, never even tried. My mother"s about-me score was 80%. She never saw how things were, she could only see how she was.

Your high about-me score makes you a poor spouse, a poor mother, and makes you make a lot of false steps in life because you don"t see things as they are, you see them as you are...

One of the most important things I teach people is reality.

Reality is collective hunch at best... but it is inherently inaccurate, but still a thousand times more accurate than seeing the world, reality as you are.

Even becoming half-skilled at seeing reality is a source of incredible improvement in people"s lives...
And because you are part of reality, seeing yourself as you are is the most freeing of all.

Now, what happens after you become skilled at seeing reality less the way you are, and more how it is, is a total miracle:

You start to spend less time in your head, and suddenly you have time, energy, and gasp! CURIOSITY to do things that can fill your life with joy and excitement and discovery and purpose.

Teaching people to see reality is not a money-maker, I can tell you that.

Why?

As I said in the beginning of this article, the only thing that makes a lot of money, is solving problems people KNOW they have.

Do you know that you don"t see reality, you only see yourself?

No, you don"t.

My best student whose Achilles heel is the Desire Trap, has pretended for 25 months! He pretended that he believed me that he had an issue with the desire trap. Whenever he had a chance, he got caught in it, again and again and again, destroying his health, his mood, his intelligence each time... and yet, he could not see it, he needed first to see it to believe it.

It took me 25 months to write an article that drove it home for him... that made him see it on others and then see it on himself... and now he knows he has this problem.

And he is my BEST student. 25 months... definitely not a money maker topic! lol

So from this, you can see that the number of people, on the planet, people who can see that they don"t see things as they are, instead they see them as they are is very low, according to muscle test, my type of muscle test where I am asking All-of-it, not my body! is a whole whopping 10. Not 10%, no. Ten people.

And most of those are my students already.

So yeah, what I teach is not a money maker because people don"t take to it, don"t look for it, don"t google it, because they don"t know they have this problem.

I read. I read a lot. Lately I read mystery, detective, assassin stories by good writers. On average one book a day.

Before I read a book, I muscle test if I should read it.

The only reason to read anything is to see more of reality.

No matter who you are, no matter how high your vibration, you have been presented with a story and not reality. In your studies, on TV, radio, internet, books.

A story standing in for reality, about reality... health, wealth, politics, love, everything.

So was I. I am not an exception.

If I am an exception in anything, then it is that I am conscious that the tendency of any human is to see the world as they are, not the way the world is.

So I read and see glimpses of how it may be, behind the story, behind the story they"ve fed me, fed you, fed everyone.

It"s not pretty, but my TLB is high, it"s 70. It"s very high. But it is not 100%, and when reality is shockingly different, in the books I read, from the story I swallowed, my TLB acts up... and I jump up, and run around, and eat, and suddenly I need to make a hot drink... reality is not pretty, and it is hard to be with.

But then I return to the book, and read on.

So the second most important capacity you need to acquire is the mental toughness that it takes to stare reality down.

The aspect of reality hardest to face is facing how you really are.

You may think that you know how you are, because you have words for it, but you are like the apologizing man: buying permission to continue doing what he is apologizing for.

You talk, creating smokescreen through which you can"t see.
How do I know what you really see about yourself? By your behavior. Your behavior reflects how you see reality.

Not what you think, not even how you think.

Your behavior reflects how you see yourself and reality.

And your words and your behavior don"t match.
So there you go... Your low TLB prevents you from seeing yourself as you are.

Now, I hope you have this question, how is it possible that I am having a fun, exciting, happening life, in spite of all the "boring" stuff I do, the boring way I eat, the isolation I live in, and the meager income I live on?

I always say that CONTEXT IS DECISIVE.

Context is words. What I say about what I do? Why I do what I do? What is my goal with what I do?

In the Juice Exercise, we ferret out the essence of what makes you juiced, what makes you come alive with pleasure, we pretty much ask: what context, brought to your life, will make all of your life fun and pleasurable FOR YOU?

For me it is penetrating the invisible, so I can bring the DIVINE (what"s beyond the visible) to everything. So I do everything with the intention to see what I can"t see, what is invisible to me... when I walk, when I go to the bathroom, when I read, when I write articles... when I go to my exercise class, when I try to sell the idea to my friend to accept my token of appreciation for all her care. Everything.
So having THAT context, the what makes me juiced, everywhere results in a juiced life... and I love it.

A "normal" person"s life is played out in the "I know that I know" and the "I know that I don"t know".

I can learn more about what I don"t know, and move it over to the "I know that I know" slice.
I literally don"t know anyone who has ever accepted that 99% of all knowledge is in the area of what you don"t know you don"t know.

There are people who give lip service to it, but lip service... we know it is lying through your teeth.

Even when someone teaches you, sheds light to a spot that you don"t know that you don"t know, you become all defensive, or huffy puffy, because it is never pleasant to find out that you have been wrong. Inaccurate. That your whole world has been based on some inaccurate view of reality.
My student, who after 25 months was suddenly able to see that he had the tendency to fall into the Desire Trap, is a hero in my mind.

Heroes are ordinary people who do extraordinary things. Being a hero is a moment to moment thing, not a label. I am almost certain that by now he has lost what he saw...  when was it... yesterday? ((As I am looking for a quote, or a picture to illustrate it, I am confronted by the optical illusion reflected in what I find: thinking that heroes are, or being hero is a status... The truth is, the reality is, that being a hero, when you are judged from what you achieve, destroys you, and destroys other people.

Being a hero is in the moment of choice... when you choose what takes courage and skills and a stronger desire than the desire for self-preservation. When you choose to desire something greater than yourself.

People"s blindness is accurately expressed in the memes they admire. A perfect meme to cement the chicken coop is something you can give lip service to, but will keep you in the chicken coop, like the meme saying "heroes are ordinary people who achieve extraordinary results"... obviously they are not talking about you, because you cannot see your way from where you are to extraordinary results, so being a hero is not a path you can take... but you can dream about it... and there you go: you are trapped in the Desire Trap.

Do you see now how it works? How society keeps you trapped?))

Yet he can"t unsee it. So seeing it again will be easier.

By the way, his TLB is 10... and as he will practice to see his ugliest self again and again, his TLB will have to rise, or he won"t do it.

His accountability partner also saw the reality of how his ugliest self is, and he has lost it too. Will he be able to see it again? Probably not. Unless by some miracle, or by some effort he can raise his TLB... which is 1.

So you can see the three mandatory elements to living a life you love:

1. reduce the about-me score, so you can see more of reality as it is
2. start to see and act on how you really are, the ugliness
3. know what gives you juice, and bring it to every aspect of your life.

Obviously teaching any of these skills or capacities isn"t a money maker... because even after reading this article, if you got this far in reading, strikes you that I am talking about other people... not you. You are not like that, but you can see that other people are.

Maybe I should reconsider solving sleep for people... eh?

Frames... what they are, and how they limit your success, your happiness, your health...

Everybody talks about subconscious beliefs, but I have seen no evidence that there is such a thing. On the other hand almost no one is talking about what"s REALLY limiting you in life: your frames.

If you call something that it is not, you take away the power from the individual... and set them up to pay through the nose, and still remain the same.

Some people are masterful with frames, and their wealth is a testament to that... Tony Robbins is one of these guys.

I have been listening to this investment banker, Oren Klaff, who wrote a book (Pitch Anything) and is now speaking to crowds successfully. ((
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JFXYAEv4j1g
If you want to read a book or two... what Oren Klaff calls frame, others call context. The two words mean the same... but there are more books on context than on frames. Meager pickings... :-( ))

His job is do or die... raise the money or die... every day.

Or as a public speaker, raise the enthusiasm of the crowd... or die.

What"s his secret?

Frames. Controlling the frames inside which people listen to him.

Frames are those HUGE invisible parts of life that change the content as reliably as if by magic.

Frames can be changed, because they are not fixed, they are just words!

Frames, if you want to be equal to life, if you want to be part of evolution, if you want to have a chance for more, better, or different, have to be changed.

But, alas, most people, unless they are enlightened about frames, are stuck with one fixed frame and one fixed attitude, and they live life out of that one fixed frame...

That fixed frame is not good news: it talks about them as not enough, not good enough, not smart enough, not valued enough, not loved enough, not significant enough, not mattering enough... and life becomes about that, or prove that they are enough... while the frame says: they are not.

The first frame we call "your case" is created at the first time your cage was rocked...

We distinguish it in the Playground. It gives a gloomy mood to all of life: everything that happens from that point on is inside that frame, proving that you were right: you are not something enough.

It also does one other than: it makes all of life about you. You have no ability, no desire, no inclination, no curiosity to move your feet to the right or to the left, to look at life from another angle, to know how else life could occur from that different angle.

I have been experimenting with methods, spiritual practices, that sneak in that other angle, so the fixed frame can be optional, not the only option.

Unless you can own that case as a frame you made up yourself, you won"t be able to swap it out for other frames that are more conducive to happiness, producing results in any area of life.

I attract a disproportionate number of people whose case is that they are slighted, they don"t get their due, and are angry or resigned about that.

Why? Because inside that case, they are dependent on someone giving it to them... and they see me as very giving... a godsend...

As long as that frame is what they see life through, I will be a horrible disappointment for them: Everything I offer depends on their willingness to apply themselves... to make it work for themselves, to co-create with me, with the energies, with the new knowledge.

Bummer, if you have a victim mentality, specifically that you are slighted.

What if your frame is a different flavor of victimhood?

Victimhood is, in broad strokes, if you look at the world through the frame: something was done to me. It can be anything...

Sometimes you construct a frame on top of the original one, victim, and the second frame is an answer to the question: how do I fix this? How do I win in life?

Werner Erhard had a profound statement once: every human, when you peel off the layers, like the layers of an onion, has a core, that is a desire, a need to be significant, to matter, to make a difference by being alive.

When that need feels blocked, the only paths for the person to take are either the criminal path, or the "forever teenager" path... let"s have fun. Cheap, meaningless, self-devaluating fun. ((For a really long time my main choice went toward the illegal, off-color, not honest direction... and then when I learned to set my context I started to walk the path of strait and narrow... It wasn"t easy, it isn"t easy, but it has more rewards by far. I have no morality about your choice... I don"t look at the world through morality... right/wrong, good and evil. I am more pragmatic than that. I look at things: does it take you closer to becoming all you can be... or not. I am amoral... whatever that means.))

Sometimes the forever teenager is the kind of fun, where it shouts out: look how smart I am... but there is no depth, no self-worth, it is still the same thing: let"s have fun.

One must not forget, that the root of both behaviors is a frame... not reality. The frame says: something was done to you... something bad, and the only way you saw to compensate for it is what you chose... no effort, because teenagers don"t do effort.

So what can you do, now that you know that you have a fixed frame (or a stack of frames) that impede your growth, impede your success and happiness?

Let me start in small, and then widen the picture from there?

In every conversation, in every interaction people already have a "frame", a context, a way to view what is coming. It comes with being human... maybe even with being alive. I used to have cats. Going to the vet had a "frame", "I am going to be hurt..." for the cat. For me: "the cat is going to give me a hard time..." or "how much is it going to cost?" or "will the cat pee on me again?"

For the vet... I have no idea... maybe "here is another hysterical female with their favorite monster..." lol.

Lots of frames... most are hidden, maybe hidden from the person who has them too. ((I was pondering one this morning for the first time... Tai was talking about the parent investing in their offspring time, energy, care, so when they are old and feeble, the offspring will take care of them.

Where is the love? I ask, and feel cheated, duped, manipulated, and angry.

This arrangement is not something I"d agree to, especially with the societal pretense that parents love their children... Hey, if this is the underlying frame, then they love them, like the witch loved Hansel and Gretchen... fattening them up for dinner!

Of course now that I am old and feeble, and need help, need support, I am a little more understanding, and maybe see where the reciprocal altruism may be a good thing, at least in general, but MY personal culture, my personal frame of what parent-child relationship should be, this unagreed to arrangement is a huge insult to...

Evolution, human evolution, is not supported by this arrangement... in fact 20-30 years of the offspring"s life is used up to take care of their ailing parents, instead of growing, investing that same time in their own personal evolution.

But, of course, who am I to say that I am right and everyone else is wrong?

But if you look, nature has measures to thin the herd by predators going for the slow, the weak, the old.

Only humans take on, voluntarily, their aging, their useless, their feeble, by applying the frame: you have to. It is decent. or however they force you, morally, to act against yourself and evolution.

Evolution"s engine is the Selfish Gene... the gene that wants more life through more new life (progeny) and through more resources (wealth), not through turning around and funneling the resources to the old.))

OK... back to topic: You can only have one frame or frame-set (context) at any one time. It is either yours or it comes from society.

Most people know nothing of their frame, most people know nothing about anything... and you are probably "most people" in that.

OK, what I just wrote is not exactly true. The truth is: the frame looks like the truth... and it doesn"t look like a frame.

Without the ability to observe the frame and what it does to your reality, without the ability to create a new frame, the ability to hold onto a frame, and the ability to convey your frame in a way that others "buy" it... you are probably living a life of quiet desperation.

Communicating the frame is what is called enrollment... and to do it well: it is the minimum requirement for winning in life

Why? People see the world through the frame they are either given or created themselves. Always, no exception. You cannot see the world different from your frame. Because the frame answers the questions: why? what does it mean? what for?

In enrollment, someone with a higher vision, or a different vision, speaking eloquently, replaces, temporarily your filter with their own created filter... All masters of persuasion have done that... for good and for bad.

All frames are created by words... All frames are on the words side of reality.

In the Playground, we work with frames. We look at frames that are given by the automatic words in the "meaning" side of things (the facts side never changes, and yet, with the words the whole thing, we call occurrence, changes!). We"ll look at those words as frames, and watch the whole picture, we call occurrence, change, magically, in front of our very eyes.

Of course for the whole picture to change, you need to start mastering frames, recognize frames, invent new frames, say things that change the frame.

If you are too invested in how the world "IS", how you "ARE", in the Tree of Knowledge version of reality, then you won"t be willing to play... You could, but you"ll consider it unsafe.

Then you"ll automatically disqualify yourself from the Playground... hope this time around no one will disqualify themselves. I"ll do what I can and more, but it is really up to the participants.

By the way, although it is invisible for the participant, it is very visible to me what is your frame with regards to the course.

Where do I look?

I look at how many times you have watched each session, so you can internalize the distinctions.

If your frame is "I am smart" "I understand" or "I don"t have time" or anything that prevents you from repeatedly watching the replays, then chances are that when the time comes, you will disqualify yourself... like you have disqualified yourself from tons of good stuff you wanted but were unwilling to invest time and energy and heart into them.

I also listen to some of the partnership calls. If what you say is trying to repeat the course with your own words, instead of looking at how your life can change given what we learned, then your frame says something like "I need to be smart and get the words right" instead of putting the new frames the course gives to look at your life through... which shows me that you cannot grasp the importance of frames... you are blind to them.

In the meantime, in private one-on-one conversations I establish practices with private clients, to change the stuck frames... If it works, I"ll make it available to all.

Not an easy thing to do... but I am seeing some success.

PS: Most programs sell you with a better frame you already have, but once you paid... you are back to where you were... and can"t use the program.

Most motivational speakers manage to temporarily change your frame... but three days later you are back to where you were... miserable.

My aim is to hand over all the power... My success, what I consider success, if you never need my help ever again... because you can do it for yourself.

Context will decide if you are happy or miserable, rich or poor

the first thing for you to learn, if you EVER want to visit the vertical plane, is CONTEXT

this will likely be a series

dictionary: context = the circumstances that form the setting for an event, statement, or idea, and in terms of which it can be fully understood and assessed.

Why you cannot spin plates... why your life is like an obstacle course... ups and downs...

Roller coasters are fun, exciting, and you can scream all you want... But when your whole life is a roller coaster, 24/7, that is not fun. That is exhausting.

I used to feel like my life was a roller coaster. Like people, emotions (my reactions to people, events, tasks) were jerking me left and jerking me right.

I hated the experience. I like smooth. I like to feel in control of my life and my inner state.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LwF5WiMkBXo
But nothing I knew could do that for me, smooth out my ride... nothing. ... and believe me, I tried.

I took courses. I learned to use energies. I exercised. Nothing seemed to eliminate the roller coaster... until... until a few months ago. The ride was getting smoother... but life was still jerking me.

In this article I"ll teach you what"s going on in the invisible, that life is like that... and what to do about it.One of the ways your life is chunky, clunky, choppy, jerky like a roller coaster is that your life is not integrated.

Integrated is a completely misunderstood concept. Even Tai Lopez in his 67 steps program teaches integration in a pedestrian way...

He says: move things closer. Have a gym in your house. Live close to work. Live close to the grocery store.

But it is all actions in the visible... and actions in the visible may make life a little easier, but not much.

What causes pretty much anything is not visible to the naked eye.

Success, happiness, joy, love, health, prosperity, abundance, wisdom... none of it is caused by anything visible to you.

The causes are all in the invisible. And so is with integration: the foundation of a seamless life, the foundation of a life that is joy to live.

Even the jerking is not in the visible.

This is the reason I only teach to manage the invisible paradigm... because it"s effective.

Most everything you read written by others, even if it is about mindset, deals with the visible, teach you to remain there.

The horizontal plane. Where being in control is an illusion: the tail wags the dog.

So what is the secret underground concept that can cause a sense of integration, a sense of seamless life, and the key to being able to spin several plates without dropping any of them, without effort, without tension, without resistance?

One of the fundamental invisible elements is context.

I have explained context as backdrop before: the painted canvas that makes the foreground a likely story... without anything ever changing in the foreground.

The backdrop is the invisible paradigm, the foreground is the visible.

Not much you can do in the foreground that changes the story.

The story, the story of your life, comes from the backgdrop.

The context of my life, for many decades, was that I was a victim. A victim of abuse, a victim of not being loved.

It didn"t matter what happened in the foreground, the story remained the same. I was abused in no matter what job, what relationship, even in what country I lived.

You would not know it if you looked at me. You had to hear me tell the story.

It took me decades to change the backdrop.

Why so long? No one told me that being abused, being a victim was in the backdrop.

And what you don"t know that you don"t know is the most important determinant of the quality of your life.

The backdrop is made up of things you say, whether you say it in your head or out loud... they are equally contribute a thread in the fabric of the backdrop.

Hundreds of sayings. Things that you said, things that you heard and accepted. Things that you resist.

And because they are part of the backdrop, they DETERMINE the quality of the story... the quality of your life.
You cannot create a new context and expect it to stick as long as most of the existing backdrop is unexamined.

This is what the quote, "the unexamined life is not worth living" ((Quotes from google:

The unexamined life is not worth living (Ancient Greek: is a famous dictum apparently uttered by Socrates at his trial for impiety and corrupting youth, for which he was subsequently sentenced to death, as described in Plato"s Apology.

The claim is that only in striving to come to know ourselves and to understand ourselves do our lives have any meaning or value.

Examining anything will result in you understanding it. As for that Socrates quote "The unexamined life is not worth living". To me, that means "to understand what you are living for is more important than actually living." ... The worst life, the life not worth living, is one which has neither virtuousness nor excellence.))

Now, true to form, all those quotes in the footnotes are talking about stuff... not saying much. What the heck does that mean? you could cry, and unless someone like me explains it to you to make it actionable, you"ll have Tree of Knowledge... the words that when they are repeated they become a lie. ((Here is a little aside: two people I know and love study philosophy. They read what some people said, then they read what other people said about the original people said...

Pure torture, if you ask me. Because unless you know that truth repeated is a lie, unless you use your studies to learn to think originally, you"ll remain a parrot... parroting b.s.

And, of course, while you are student, you are not likely to have any original thoughts. So unless you have the context: I need to be able to think what they thought, so I can learn thinking, you"ll be miserable.

I remember Werner Erhard saying in some event: Think this... and of course people understood: think about this. Or they understood: understand this. But that wasn"t the instruction: the instruction was "think this"... near impossible if you live in the mind, if you think understanding or thinking about is useful.

So the challenge for philosophy students especially is to turn something Tree of Knowledge into Tree of Life... so life can grow, instead of the mind: the Dark Side.

I also have some people I know who have studied sociology. They learned to repeat the words, and never actually made it their own, instinctual... and now they argue about them. They are the most obtuse people I know... because nothing can fit in with all that Tree of Knowledge stuff.

My instruction/advice to my philosophy students is to read as if they were taking a shower: not for understanding, not for knowledge, not for the exam, only to get wet.

When you manage to do that (NOT EASY!) they/you avoid the trap of taking what you read and bastardize it, or turn it into Tree of Knowledge. You have done the first step towards thinking independently.

Had Werner said: hear this, instead of Think this... he would have taken people closer to where LIFE is.))

OK, back to unexamined life.

What does it mean, according to this Empath, to examine your life?

It"s simple: start seeing the foreground as foreground, and the backdrop as backdrop.

And be interested in both. Learn how to shape both. Have the patience to play with it. Have the honesty to tell the truth.

Eventually life will become a lot more easy... on its way to become glorious.

Once you have gotten to easier... you can start adding threads into the backdrop. Or maybe completely re-draw it.

I have done that... But the backdrop needs to be reasonably empty of threads.

The last thread I managed to pull was that my life depends on what you do with what I teach. Hey, YOUR life depends on it, not mine.

My job is to be like the sun: shine on everyone. What people do with that shining is not my concern.

Really.

By the way, the pull of measuring myself with YOUR results is tremendous. It must be some cultural element of the fabric... but truth be told, there is nothing I can do that will change you, your thinking, your results. Nothing.

Only you can. And whether you will or won"t will not depend on me.

You"ll do when you are good and ready. Not a second before.

Interestingly most people go downward before they go up.

I have observed that. I don"t quite see why that is... unless it is the holding power of the chicken coop.

I have learned a huge lesson in my life that flies in the face of all that"s out there.

Of the carrot and the stick: the stick is a hundred times more powerful than the carrot.

I managed to raise my vibration, I managed to eliminate all the threads that constituted abused victim in my backdrop, all behaviors that had no integrity by cultivating HATE.

Unless you have the capacity to hate and sustain hate, you won"t have enough energy to change things.

Your wimpiness comes from that lack of capacity to hate or lack of willingness to hate.

Here is a quote from a novel I just finished:

“Hate is what preachers try to talk us out of on Sunday mornings. But hate is what I try to get my victims to use the other six days of the week. Hatred innervates. ((puts blood in your organs... or gives you balls!)) It can bring strength and focus, where without it we might only know self-pity or anger. Hate moves us toward a goal of freedom from rage. Keep that close to your heart.”

I hate certain behaviors. I hate injustice. I hate envy, jealousy, betrayal. And I hate them especially when I am the perpetrator. So I"ll do whatever is in my power to eliminate them.

That is the secret of my growth. Hate. Strong, passionate, breathless hate. I know you Californian and Canadians are shocked. But consider that everything, EVERYTHING you have been told is to render you a wimp, low energy, ineffectual.

EVERYTHING. Don"t you hate that? Hate it enough to get back your suppressed energy?

lol.

Become an Expanding human being aka living an interesting life

I am reading one of my all time favorite books. Again. I was guided to read it again. As I have been guided to watch everything I watch, read everything I read.

Sometimes the key to the insight is on page 800 of a book, or in episode 60 of a Netflix series.

The tricks are: trust, don"t be in a hurry, don"t expect the "key" to be a direct answer, and once you have what you were needing, acknowledge it.

This book is full of clues for me. Clues for why you are living a life of quiet desperation, why you don"t live an interesting life.

The book is about a little girl who gets an interactive smart book, to teach her life. ((Neal Stephenson: The Diamond Age, in my subscribers only area in pdf, kindle, and epub format.))

She is four years old when she gets the book.

Updated: Hungry? Eager? How resisting "hunger" can raise your vibration.

Hunger is a poor advisor
It is said by many people, that you shouldn"t go grocery shopping when you are hungry.

Why? Because when you are hungry, the context of your being becomes to satisfy that hunger. Everything seems to be the answer to the question: this is the best way to eliminate hunger, to satisfy hunger.

So you end up spending money on stuff that is not good for you, that you should not have bought, maybe ever, in the first place.

How do you decide if you have value or not?

How do you decide if you have value or not?
This article"s purpose is to widen your understanding of value... so you can start valuing yourself, at last.
The current state of this area: deciding on your value is abysmal... and keeps you anxious, worried, and not happy.

You always think that your understanding is the correct understanding of reality.

You think you understand what people say, what people mean.

You never consider that your understanding is based on your small picture of reality... and you never think to grow your picture of reality, or to ask something new.

How context can unify a fragmented life and make it a seamless life?

It is time to rewrite the book, Truth versus Falsehood, on muscle testing, measuring for truth, and other practices that most everybody uses to cover up that they don"t know. To cover up that they are amateurs out to get your money.

So who has to write it? Me... and I don"t like to write long things: I am a really short article type person.

People tell me that you write long things the way you write short things... but I don"t know if this is true.

Why is rape so traumatic, while sex is so commonplace?

Why is rape so traumatic, while sex is so commonplace?
Why is slave labor so traumatic, while working is so natural to us.

If you have ever been pinned down, not able to free yourself...
If you have ever been forced to do something you didn"t want to do... anything...

...your trust of life, your trust in people, your confidence has dealt a big blow.

Recovering is not guaranteed, and the wound can be torn open again quite easily.

From my correspondence: Astrological Signs, Are they preventing us from changing lanes?

I stumbled on this old post... and it is exactly perfect for the "What"s the truth about you" workshops, so I thought I republish it...

Question:
Hi Sophie, I have a question. I would like to know your advice. I recently found an astrological site with natal chart sun decrees interpretations which are scaringly accurate.

I bought your Effortless Abundance Book, three days ago, I do believe one can get much more. My doubt is, can we change lanes? concerning those astrological imprints for a better life?

All the best,
My Answer:
it all depends on your mindset.

if you are trying to change lanes to fix anything: the answer is no.
if you manage to not make anything wrong in the present or in the past!!! not easy, then yes

astrology and such are the mind"s effort to understand the world so it can control it.

the world can"t be controlled, moreover when you want control for safety etc. you are making something wrong.

You can have anything but not at the same time

Life, happiness, well-being, prosperity is achieved and maintained only on a narrow and hemmed-in path (the strait), the opposite of what you wish it were, the opposite you see others have, the opposite you see on television, on ads.

You have been duped. You have swallowed the lie, hook, line and sinker and you have been paying the price.

Your life is empty, purposeless, meaningless, and you have nothing to look forward to.

Last night I was pondering, instead of sleeping, ((which is quickly becoming my new habit, I mean not sleeping,)) what is the behavioral, emotional age of all humans.

I came up with seven. Seven years old.

One of the most useful things I have ever done for myself

One of the most useful things I have ever done is this:

I would find a mentor. I offered my services to do whatever needed done. More often than not I learned useful skills through the doing. Skills that I needed for myself. And while I was around the mentor, I could learn from him.

Life needs a lot of skills to do life successfully. The opportunities to learn those skills is sparse... Because skills are not knowledge, even if they are mental, intellectual skills: they are the ability to do, to perform a skill... not to understand it.

More on toughening up... and an exercise

More on toughening up...

When I first did the Landmark Forum (actually it was called The Forum in 1987) I remember, distinctly, experiencing, for the first time, that I am not alone.

There was so much misery shared in that room, that it caused a kind of comradery ((special friendship, or experience of being in battle together, that have experienced the crucible of combat together)), I wasn"t familiar with.

I remember thinking: If I am not alone, then it is not me... then it is something shared...

Updated: A Time To Give Thanks. But To Who? For What? Mundane Or Significant? Habit And Duty Or Privilege?

I wrote this article five years ago. Sometimes the way to get ahead is to go back five years and start from there.

Recently the readership of this blog has changed, not to my liking. I"d like to return to how it was five years ago, when people with sincere desire to change visited, and asked for help.

OK, here is the old article... hopefully all typos are corrected.

Thanksgiving: a time to give thanks. But to who? For What? Mundane or Significant? Habit and Duty or Privilege?

In searching what I am really thankful for, I went through all the things I could be thankful for.

The air I breathe? the fact that I woke up this morning? the sunshine on this winter day on my window... hey it"s so strong I had to lower the blinds! lol

Or the roasted beet salad with goat cheese (yumm) I am making as part of Thanksgiving dinner?

Can you heal yourself? Holographic universe or intelligent universe?

My habit is to read one or two non-fiction books, cover to cover, the old fashioned way, and then about 600 pages worth of fiction.

My choice of fiction is historical novels, mostly. I like the short and sweet novellas 60-120 page long pieces, from the Foreworld Saga, that for me started with the book Mongoliad.

These books are perfect for me. They are fantastical. They always have heroes, and incredible odds, and the characters are larger than life.

Just like I used the Medium series to learn how to hold guidance, I am using these books to show me how guidance can be even more difficult to see ahead of time, and why it is so important to surrender one"s immediate agenda to guidance.

Capacities... what does it mean? How do you know someone only has a few capacities active?

Capacities... what does it mean? How do you know someone only has a few capacities active?

I was on a marketing webinar... actually it is still going on as I am writing this.

The presenters are two brothers in Ireland... genius as far as building a piece of software, morons in every other area that I can see.

One has nine, the other has ten capacities working.

So, in the brief duration of the webinar, what were the capacities that weren"t turned on and made it pure hell being on the webinar:

not having a sense of what they sound like
talking about a screen not aware that that is not what the attendees of the webinar see
building an offer that timed poorly, presented poorly, salesy...
overselling...

Those are behaviors that are underlied by 10 capacities that they don"t have...

The World Is Full Of Dumb People Who Think They"re Smart

What is IQ, what is smart, and what does it have to do with DNA capacities?

If you read my previous article, you know that I think of the movie "The Constant Gardener." As I was looking for pictures, I stumbled onto a movie review where the person either didn"t see the movie or is dumb. And the article is five years old, and he never realized that he is dumb.

So that prompted me to look for article s where dumb people think they are smart. Here is one... I am going to make slight changes in the original...

20 Reasons Why The World Is Full Of Dumb People Who Think They"re Smart
